Our favorite waterfront restaurant, but we drive there just for the veal with horseradish sauce, and the kretzel fillet, but they were closed. I'd give them 4 stars, otherwise....stay open 7 days a week.

Amazing staff, super friendly and all about making your stay the best possible. Food was delicious; you'll find local dishes as well as things like steak. Beer garden right at the lake. Defo highly recommend!

This was our second time at the Hotel Seevilla and we were thrilled, just like our first stay. The hotel is very nice, not so huge, but all the more comfortable. But three things were standing out in today’s visit: 1.) although it was very busy and many guests queuing in front of the restaurant the service was friendly and efficient. Great restaurant. Food is great, staff is friendly, view is phenomenal. And here are the reasons why I didn't give 5 stars: - this isn't a good location for vegetarians and even worse for vegans (fur pillows at the entrance 😐, only one vegetarian option, no vegan) - not a good location for kids (No toy corner or a playground). But breastfeeding is not a problem 😊.

Friendly traditional German hotel in a superb location. Had a one bedroom apartment with a balcony. It was dated but clean with minimum cooking facilities but enough for our stay. Good breakfast. Helpful, friendly staff. Would stay here again.

Hotel Knaus is an older Hotel directly at the sports harbour. We had the suite under the roof which is a pretty spacious flat that easily accommodates 4 people and offers a terrace with a great view over Lake Constance.

Very nice hotel, comfortable rooms, nice food. Big bar and restaurant. Close to the lake and boat station. Also very good location for visiting museums and Messe at Fridrichshafen with affordable price compare to Fridrichshafen. To sum up - nice location:)

Great hotel at a great location. Five minutes walking distance to the pier serving various ferries including one to Mainau. Pretty good breakfast selection (scrambled eggs, bread, cold cut meats, cereal, fruits, and more). The attached restaurant also serves pretty good dishes. Internet access intermittently available in the room, and when connected, speeds were not sufficient to support Skype calls...

A great spot in a beautiful place

We had two rooms, same price but significantly different one much bigger with A/C the other small no A/C. Generally nice hotel, nice area, friendly stuff. Well worth going.

Nice area to be around and the ambiance of the restaurant wasn't too loud either. I checked in in the evening and the receptionist was pleasant to talk to.

We stayed for just one night and had dinner at the restaurant. The food was delicious, bed comfy, the shower powerful with very hot water! Staff were helpful and allowed us to use their fridge and freezer overnight.

Breakfast could be better . Cold scramble eggs. Just plain bread rolls and no dark bread. Really nothing to write home about considering we payed 25€ pP/day.

Sausage, cheese, fresh fruit. It was a very extensive buffet. Everything was fresh and delicious. The evening meal was very extensive. The rooms are very clean. My single room was very large. I had a lovely time there.

A spontaneous stop for lunch that was definitely worth it. Very friendly service, the food tasted fresh and delicious. The price/performance ratio was more than reasonable. We felt comfortable and would love to come back.

We tried only the restaurant because the room were all already booked. But the dinner was a great experience and the service was perfect too! Who goes in that town should at least take the opportunity to eat at this restaurant.

If it wasn't right at the train station, it might be overlooked - but that would be a mistake. A beautiful beer garden, a clean and tidy restaurant and friendly service characterize the inn. The menu is neither too short nor too long and the food tastes very good too. We'd love to come back there sometime.

Absolutely perfect location, wonderful staff and delicious food. We stayed three nights with our two very young children and it was perfect! They do need to get a new mattress but other than that we will go back and visit again.

Food and location are great. Staff was terrific. A very good breakfast bar with a lot of choice including bacon and eggs. The rooms were clean and well maintained but the noisy tiny barfridge is not a great feature. The only disappointment was the smoke from the bar drifting into the restaurant area in the evening.

This is the hotel we have settled on using for the yearly trip to the Eurobike show (Aug-Sept). We have stayed at various hotels around the lake area and this is just perfect. Small, very private, extremely clean, nice rooms, close to the fair grounds...all with a touch of high-end Boutique B&B. We go for business every year as mentioned but would recommend it for anyone stopping by the Meersburg area

The service was very friendly. The breakfast was very good and with a lot of choice including self made cakes, etc. The small garden is also perfect to chill out. The only negative point we could find was that it was hot in the room (with an outside temperature above 35°C). We will definitely come back!

Location location location! This is the best possible location to stay in Meersburg. The lake view is fantastic. We stayed in a junior sweet the room was very spacious and had a lovely view of lake from balcony. The staff is friendly. Food is good and served quickly. The air conditioning is noisy If you ask to pay upon departure, you will be charged before if you provided your card reference on *******. Really not good ! :) The site is good and lake view very pleasant

Recks is managed by the same family and they do it all... the cuisine is excellent, the hotel is well appointed and the property is beautiful. Everyone was super helpful and super nice. Although the hotel is old, the rooms are really large and pretty and clean, and everything works well. Spring was blooming at the hotel gardens and it was quite a sight... highly reccomend.

This was our stay whilst we went for a job interview in the area - the ladies who run this could not have been more helpful - the food and service was excellent (my wife is vegan and they did everything to accommodate) My German I snot amazing but they spoke good English and really were very welcoming - Cannot recommend these guys enough! PS: We got the job ;-)

Meersburg, a fantastically beautiful place with ancient castles, stairs, trees and squares. Hotel Strand Cafe is a great hotel, beautiful rooms with a view of Lake Constance, a delicious breakfast in the morning under the plane trees where the first sailing boats are already meeting you.

We were eight days in this hotel, very central, had a junior suite with a "castle view" actually more of the inner courtyard, the breakfast buffet was absolutely sufficient and nothing to be desired, this hotel has no real reception (also not important) unfortunately none Fridge in the room (minibar), and during the week there was no restaurant and no drinks on the terrace (a shame). Contrary to some negative reviews on Booking.com and Co., we can only say good things about this family-run hotel. We were treated in a friendly and courteous manner and the two hotel owners fulfilled our every wish. The breakfast was always fresh, delicious and lovingly prepared and the beautiful rooms were cleaned properly every day. The location and the view of Lake Constance are unbeatable anyway...

Had a great stopover in Meersburg. We were winging it and arrived without a reservation. Very busy and were lucky to find a gem on the promenade. Very clean, staff were awesome and returned for dinner after looking at other spots. 1st class thanks to the team.

The easy proximity to the ferry, and the balcony to enjoy the view of the lake and promenade were such welcomed bonuses. Even when it rained we could sit and enjoy the view with the fresh air coming in, with plenty of space. We stayed in the family room, with lake view. Breakfast could not have been better. Very cosy hotel close to the center of Meersburg. It is the owners who made our stay exceptional, they were very open and helpful, no matter the hour. Breakfast felt like a personal experience.

Nice and clean rooms. Close to the lake. From our room we could get partial view of lake. Good breakfast spread. It is easy to get a ferry for Mainau island from the nearby pier. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is best, walkable distance lake, market place, train station.

Our room was spacious and well appointed. The bathroom was quite modern and comfortable. The balcony had a lake view, which we really enjoyed as well as a sun umbrella and drying rack for our wet swimsuits. The breakfast was generous and we sat outside on the terrace enjoying more lakeside time. Parking was easy and convenient.

Stayed for a long weekend and had 2 double rooms. Loved one of the rooms with superb views on Lake Constance. The other room was ok, no views, recently refurbished but not as nice as the other one. On upside, the hotel was very flexible to arrange an extra bed to accommodate our 7 year old kid. Breakfast was good and included in room rate, only bottleneck were the coffee machines. A family of four, we stayed in one of the junior suites, with a queen bed and a converted sofa bed. The room was very spacious, had large closet space, and the bath came with double sinks. The room had floor-to-ceiling windows with an absolutely breathtaking view over the Bodensee. The hostel has 2 room areas, one in a tower and the other one on the ground floor. The tower has a lot of stairs and no elevator, and although the views are amazing so be careful when you reserve if you don't want to carry all you luggage up and down. The food is ok. There was an angry lady at the reception though...

It's a light tower, next the a grave. The view from the hostel is great. No elevator and I have to climb up 7 floors with my luggage. U need a Youth hostel membercard to stay here
