Great Hotel. Here you can meet the old style of living. The „smell „ of this hotel transport you back with centuries, you can fill the life from now 200 years ago.

Good location (make sure to try dinner as the golden swinger 2 min easy walk) clean room nice service , I arrive very late so key was left in small locked box, excellent breakfest, free Wi-Fi though somewhat slow. Reasonable price. Bed was big and nice though myself I would have preferred firmer mattress. They have some sort of dispenser for soap, am not expert in hotels so can't tell if this is common...

This hotel is clean, quiet, and comfortable with good food. It is somewhat dated, but to me that adds to its charm.

Breakfast was good, limited selection but met expectations.

Breakfast was great, location was super, host was very friendly. My room was very clean and tidy. I loved the wood and vintage features of the hotel.

Stayed here a total of 11 weeks over the last few months for work, and this place has been the best hands down. The staff is super friendly, and are English speaking which is amazing. They clean the rooms very well and are very attentive to any needs. The restaurant has phenomenal food with a cozy atmosphere. Definitely made my work trip a pleasure! Thank you guys so much!

Renovated to very good standard. Near pedestrian zone and the theatre. Free parking. Breakfast average.

Very neat rooms, a king's bath. There is no criticism. A very comfortable bed. Quiet room and a large TV. Unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy breakfast because I had to leave at 7 a.m. But if I should stay overnight in Meiningen again, then only in the Hotel Kaiserpark

Also highly recommended for those arriving by train. Within walking distance, including the city center. Very nice staff, especially the very nice breakfast fairy, who has absolutely everything under control. Newly renovated rooms.

The staff is just super nice, courteous and open to all wishes and very animal-loving. The rooms are great and everything is clean and kept clean too. We have been there several times and always very satisfied. The location is great, there is plenty of parking space. The breakfast is simply super and rich, is always refilled by the dear Ms. Abt😃👍

Very nice and spacious room, the room is well equipped. The bathroom is modern. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is manageable, but it is due to the difficult times. All around, if you are looking for a nice, clean and quiet hotel, this is the right place for you.

Our first stay with this hotel and was VERY pleased. Spacious rooms, very nice breakfast and great location from downtown. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We will be return guests next trip to Germany without a doubt. Thank you to all who helped make our Meiningen visit so nice.

The rooms, the breakfast, the service are all excellent. When on business trip wifi is very important. Wifi is excellent as well.

On the Werra-located small Hotel with short way to the Theater, free Wi-Fi, and the staff are very friendly, have been 4 times to guest and come and enjoy delicious Breakfast with sausage specialties of the Region, and the chief brought the Luggage to the room

Schön eingerichtet, Ambiente war schön auch im kleinen Frühstücksraum. Frühstück war einfach gehalten aber es war für uns alles da und wir sind glücklich und satt geworden :) Wir konnten direkt vorm Hotel einen Parkplatz ergattern, auf einem Streifen was aber nicht direkt zum Hotel gehört. Der Geräuschpegel war niedrig, unser Zimmer lag hinten raus. Wirklich sehr nettes Personal :) wir würden wiederkommen

Smaller Hotel in Meiningen, very quiet. Affordable Room Prices. Little free Parking in front of the door. Zi are functionally furnished and clean. The beds are good. Breakfast is sufficient and good. Service is very friendly. Hotel is suitable for transit or a few days.

Nice little hotel, very friendly and centrally located. No shower gel/shampoo in the rooms, which are very clean and cosy, however. The fitness room is a joke but breakfast is pretty good (albeit no extras such as scrambled eggs available).

We are very friendly welcome. The Hotel is super conveniently located not far from the pedestrian zone. The room and bathroom are small but very clean. So to us, the small bathroom didn't bother at all, was everything. Breakfast buffet is plentiful and tasty. For us a super price/performance ratio. If we come back to Meiningen in any case, stay there. We can recommend the Hotel only

Beautifully situated, great fast service. Thuringian cuisine, full of tasty and brought quickly. Absolutely recommended. Is also stored in the Navi as an intermediate station.

This pension has a nice central location. The room was very nice, but there was no WLAN and not a good Heating system on the third floor. Service was super awesome and friendly.

Excellent location in central Meiningen, just a minute or two's walk from the main square in one direction and the Schloss and Theatre Museum in the other direction. Fairly comfortable room with a useful desk. Attached to an Italian restaurant downstairs which stayed open late - a good option after the opera.

This place is in the centre of the town. We only dined in there twice, so I can't say anything to the rooms but the italian restaurant is great. Great food and very nice relaxed atmosphere. It's also not cold in there which is a big plus for me. I ate Sauce Bolognese and paid under 10€ for it. They also have non alcoholic cocktails as well as alcoholic drinks. Hotel is nice, clean, check in is in the opposite side of the street in the stadhotel "Partizer", internet is very very bad, if you have your German mobile you can manage with your 4g, but if you are foreigner-would not be suitable, breakfast is fresh a good. Our second visit to this hotel and once again we enjoyed our stay. Comfortable bed, quiet at night and all spotlessly clean. Friendly staff and a good breakfast. Top marks for beautiful white tablecloths in the dining room :) We look forward to returning sometime.

Excellent hotel, great hospitality, spacious and very clean, comfortable rooms and very good breakfast. Breakfast was a bit expensive at €13 each: selection is very good but we really only wanted cereal and there was no option for a smaller breakfast.

A cozy and nice hotel in the middle of the town. Soundproofing is good so outside noises are nicely blocked out. A good amount of space in the room and the room prices are not bad.

First of all, the restaurant is now closed and according to the boss, the hotel will also be closing soon. The reception was friendly, you can drive up to the barrier-free and covered entrance to unload. The atmosphere is rustic, like the 80s, rooms are OK, but it's very tight around the bed. You can't take off your shoes because there's only one shoe's length of space next to the bed The mattresses...

On the occasion of a family celebration, the five of us were able to experience two wonderful days there. Large rooms with great beds, quiet in the hallway, wonderful breakfast buffet. All in all, the family atmosphere of the Jägerklause contributed to the relaxation. We absolutely have to appreciate the friendliness of these amiable Thuringians. Thank you for everything.

Nice little hotel. So far everything is okay, unfortunately no lounges. No possibility to sit down anywhere as a group, not even outside of meals, in the dining room. Food was ok.

Jaegerklause is still my favorite place to go when in this area. Rooms are clean. The area is nice and quiet and the food is excellent. Even in these harsh, disease stricken times, the stay was great.

Great - very idyllic, newly renovated, small forest hotel with a beautiful bowling alley. The house is very comfortably furnished and the rooms are new and very clean. wir waren zwar nur einen Tag und das zu Weihnachten da, wurden aber perfekt betreut und umsorgt. und das in einem ganz toll neu umgebauten und renoviertem Hotel. Hier fehlt es einfach an nichts! das Ambiente, die Räumlichkeiten und Zimmer, das Personal- einfach perfekt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Food, as well as hospitality just great

We made a wonderful autumn hike in the Ehrental near Schmalkalden. My students give 999 stars in preparation and hospitality. Warm, nice, child-friendly ... awesome all the staff. We would love to come back. The deer were an additional highlight.

Everything impeccable. Booking and access via code lock worked great. Coffee and cocoa from the machine was delicious. Good location to downtown. The trains could not be heard on our side, although the tracks are very close. Only four stars because the room was too dark for us. Dark gray walls and not much light. Stylish but not that practical.

Very nice and pleasant hotel. The rooms are cosy and quiet. The stuff is nice and kindly. The dinner was great. If you visit the town is really nice place to stay.

I like the hotel, however they have changed some of the things at breakfast: no croissants anymore, no specialty cheeses amongst others, which were two of the highlights for me. and that while pricing is going up the rest was fine

Really good location if arriving to Suhl by train as it is right in front of the station. Breakfast is nice and simple with fruits available. Room was nice and spacious, wish there was AC but those are rare in Germany.

Suhl sounds like a good name for an evil wizard. The best hotel stay I've had in ages. Nothing fancy, but everything just worked as it should. You need your chip to work the lift. That slowed me down a minute but i am not a smart man.

Young boy, I am stranded here because I had a flat tire. Price performance is okay but not great. I don't know when my bathroom mirror was last cleaned in my room, but maybe too high standards for you who knows. When you took a shower there were still any names on the mirror that you could see about the condensation / steam that of course makes me think how clean the rest is ... One should definitely...

Big room and many things to do close by. the only thing bothered was the restaurant, the food on the cart was wayy too salty and cheap offerings (in a bad way)

Went to Suhl to research my famìly history All the staff at hotel and townhall and Church where every helpful. Hotel had recent upgrades and good rooms . The rooms all have working air conditioners which seems rare in Europe. I would recommend this hotel .

Very convenient location, city center, easy to get to. I can only rate the restaurant. Waiting time was 30 minutes (full restaurant) and the menu is very small but nice. You can get your money's worth here. The food is in the average price range (10-20 €). The food was served warm and nicely presented. It was very tasty and you get full here. The service was very friendly. Highly recommended.

Easy to find the hotel. Friendly staff. Room is big enough and clear. Breakfast is is good. Kitchen is good (lovely medium-rare ribeye). Gym needs to be refurbished, I suggest to change the old unmaintained cardio machines. Was good to be here.

Well furnished accommodation where you can find everything you need. I was very satisfied with my stay here, and my colleagues liked it too.

Concerning the restaurant: Sadly my order was not listened to. I ordered without cranberry sauce and a salad without dressing, it came with sauces. Other than that the food was alright, a bit salty, but that's often with German food.

Nice rooms (the pillows were a bit of a joke: more like medium sized baby duvets), nice food, friendly service. A bit noisy if in a room facing the road (very popular with bikers, which was also why we were there). Free range chickens, ducks, geese, a friendly pig, goats and sheep. Dogs welcome at €10 per dog per night.

The Ringberghotel high above Suhl is an impressive building, worth a visit just for its open location! Panoramic views, clean and functional rooms. The food tasted great, the service was friendly and polite. Despite the Corona requirements, the guest feels comfortable and is happy to return!

Wunderful short trip in the winterwunderland. We rented two of the holiday homes. They were very beautiful and clean with a lot of space for all our friends. We did some bowling in the sporthotel and it was no problem to rent a sledge for our baby. We can recommend this Hotel and the holiday homes to other guest's a lot.
