The price/quality is excellent! I travel a lot for work so I can judge this well. Good reception. Comfortable bed and good pillow. Despite the central location, it is very quiet. The rooms are clean. The breakfast was delicious, the choice was adequate.

Very convenient location, city center, easy to get to. I can only rate the restaurant. Waiting time was 30 minutes (full restaurant) and the menu is very small but nice. You can get your money's worth here. The food is in the average price range (10-20 €). The food was served warm and nicely presented. It was very tasty and you get full here. The service was very friendly. Highly recommended.

Also this year we booked ourselves into the four star Michel Hotel Suhl for a week. We were particularly impressed by this hotel, which is located in the city centre on the beautiful Herrenteich. We have been celebrating our wedding anniversary here for many years now - we have a personal connection to this beautiful city in the Thuringian Forest. The Michel Suhl is run by a competent and very friendly director who approaches his guests. The staff of the Michel Hotel Suhl does their job in all areas of hotel life. (Congratulations to anyone who can rely on such staff). Even when booking, I was offered a parking space right at the entrance, as I was disabled, and we were also able to book our favourite room right opposite the lift and with a view of the Herrenteich without any problems. The hotel restaurant was closed due to corona. The chef, who is actually only responsible for the breakfast buffet, which has been excellent for many years, spoiled us and our guests with a superb multi-course star menu on the evening of our anniversary. For this we extend our most heartfelt thanks to the kind soul of the breakfast buffet and the entire team of the Michel Hotel Suhl. In the message I read: Michel Hotel Suhl is not barrier-free!? I wonder why I need a ramp on which I use a wheelchair and a luggage trolley?

friendly employees, sweet rooms, comfy beds & a lot for tourists (food, museums,..). the elevator is a little bit buggy, but the rest is nice ^^
