Large rooms (a bit of a 1970s feel. but clean and very spacious). The bed was comfortable and all was fine. The location is not great as not much in the immediate area.

The rooms and total aspect of the hotel do feel old as described in some other reviews. But they are kept very clean and overall its very quited and based in a residential area. The parking in the front of the hotel is limited but there is an easy access to the garage with more spaces. Free electric car recharching is offered aswell. Breakfast is good and there is a varierity of options.

Booked a room 3 weeks in advance for match night(BMG vs Bayern). When I arrived they told me that there was a mistake and that all the rooms had been booked up - no rooms left for me. Very cozy hotel! Rooms are nice and the staff is very nice too. The food at the restaurant is great! However, the restaurant is only open Tuesday through Sunday but breakfast is every day.

We know the Tannenhof for many years. And are Happy that it's still family run and doing well. In the old BAOR garrison years myself and some staff used to almost live in this nice quiet and laid back hotel.

A clean, small, family-run hotel on the outskirts of Mönchengladbach. The ride to the city takes a moment, but it is close to the stadium and a growing commercial area. They only serve breakfast, so be prepared to get your warm meals elsewhere. A supermarket is nearby. The charge for WiFi, but the prices are all right.

It's a quiet, peaceful hotel of just a few rooms with a far more friendly atmosphere than the large chains dotted around the city. The building and the rooms are newly renovated and clean but keep their old world charm. There are a few clunks but nothing that spoiled the stay and for sure next time I'm going back I'll phone here first.

Being old fashioned can be a good thing, for example when you have silver cutlery for your breakfast guests. My room is very nice, the bed is really comfortable, and the high ceiling gives it all the feel of a old city house. Service is very good and personal, the breakfast buffet is also very sufficient. I recommend you try it!

Excellent hotel - especially for football fans and of course a great place for the fans of Borussia Moenchengladbach!

Hotel, employers and location: 1A. I missed signs to find the hotel. Room 1A, but restaurant not really to recommend for gourmets. They offer mostly fastfood like at McDonalds.

It is always a great place to stay. The hotel and the atmosphere is fantastic. If you are a Borussia Fan, it is a must to stay there.

3 rooms perfect for one night. Showers very powerful and towels a decent size.. Beds comfortable and clean. Parking easy. Check in straightforward once I got going 😊

The room and the location was good. There is no complain about the hotel itself. Netto is right opposite the hotel. I always find it good to have a departmental store nearby. The bus station is in 2-3 min walk. Just I think that the bus is never on time in Mönchengladbach. There is a Cafeteria beside the hotel. Good to have your morning coffee. This was a hard hotel to access we arrived late after a long journey, not manned at early hours in the morning we had difficulty logging into our rooms via the access machine and our phone, others were struggling also. One of the favorite locations to stay.

Clean new robohotel next to a grocery store, with a big bakery cafe located in the ground floor of the same building. There was a bit of a scrum to get the free parking. But it worked out for us. The online check-in instructions were a bit off... we did not need to use the check-in machine at all. But it is not fair to the hotel to slam it in reviews because someone did not realize that it is a robohotel...

This is not a modern Leonardo, but rather an old fashioned former whatever branded as a Leonardo. The bathroom was ancient and could have benefited from better housekeeping. Their Corona policy is ridiculous: you have to wear gloves at the buffet, but at the same time they tolerate that their customers meet in the reception area and drink beer, of course without mask. Disappointing.

This hotel is smack bang in the middle of Mönchengladbach and overlooks a park and the Abteiberg. The welcome was friendly and the staff throughout couldn’t do enough to assist. I had my room in the "Kutschhaus". Very friendly and cosy rooms. The Internet was excellent. It seemed very new and well maintained. The bathroom was spacious and the shower really nice. The restaurant is a big plus, especially if you like wine and typical german food.

Comfortable rooms, a good restaurant, and great ambience. Good location just on the edge of the village, and right near the walking/biking paths. Not modern by American standards, but charming nonetheless.

Best value for money if looking for a place to stay in the area. Price includes clean spacious rooms, parking and an excellent breakfast buffet.
