Monschau, 77 Laufenstr. 🧭 Map
A nice quiet house. Centrally located, we walked to the old town in a short time. The breakfast has everything you need. The service is exceptionally friendly. The rooms are adequately equipped. The bathroom is well furnished and spacious.
A hotel run by a very friendly lady who constantly takes care of her guests. The breakfast is excellent, served at the table and leaves nothing to be desired. The rooms are functionally furnished, it is very clean. Apart from the breakfast room there are no other areas - no bar where you can have a drink in the evening.
Nice and cosy hotel, perfect hospitality, attentive and cheerful personnel. Clean room and almost new and modern bathroom. However, interiors are bit old fashioned, but in a good state.
Wooden floors and when someone walks in a corridor, glasses on your table clink.
Magnificent personal. They are very hospitable, positive and allways with a smile on their face.
Rooms are decent, cleaned dayly. Each room has 42” TV with cable TV.
Breakfast is fantastic.
The WI-FI internet is fast and available everywhere arround the hotel.
Hotel is on the main road to Monschau, 5 minutes walking to the city. Very calm and fresh surrounding.

Monschau, Herbert-Isaac-Straße 20, 52156 Monschau, Germany 🧭 Map
You will not be disappointed. Spotlessly clean. Everything you need. Good shower. Delightful hosts. Andrea could not do more. Very welcoming. Delicious breakfast. A real home from home. Even though hotel on road into Monschau it had good double glazing and shutters.
We stayed for just one night during our journey from the UK, touring around Germany. This is a lovely little hotel on the edge of Monschau. There are only a few rooms and we were allocated room 5 - I think this must be one of the best rooms as it is a very good size, with a large balcony directly overlooking the view at the front and the river. The room was very well equipped, with fridge and kettle...
Very friendly staff, great breakfast. Good location.
Excellent. I am coming back and highly reccommend this hotel.
Very good rover side view rooms. Breakfast available in hotel, fruits and beer, wine too!
For a lazy getaway the room is perfect!
Spacious room with a balconey. Very friendly staff and easy check in. Enjoyed our view. Nice breakfast to start the day.

Really a classical, beautiful and perfect hotel totally much to the town. I truly love this hotel.
No English even basic. They didn't even try. And vanity products are very low quality and quantity. Why not put shower gel and a shampoo dispenser? So much better for the environment than small plastic low quality products made in China.
Fabulous rooms etc but if even slightly immobile...maybe not appropriate (but could be said of all hotels). Restaurant only open peak seasons. Very traditional. Breakfast was excellent!
Very traditional - Cute and cosy - Clean👍
Great location (park before entering small streets - save yourself headaches) 🚙
Spasibo
(host speaks Russian as well👍👍)
We had a room with a tiny bathroom- the bed was reasonably comfortable, but the curtains were very thin, so we woke early. Breakfast was reasonable with an adequate choice- but the biggest problem was we couldn't find the place- I tried ringing but the lady didn't speak English- luckily the Tourist office were very helpful but due to the one way systems we had a 5km drive for a 100 metre walk. Maybe...
My family and I spent one night at the hotel and had dinner in the restaurant. The hotel is in a historic building in the wonderful Monschau old town, so to stay there was a special experience. The room had not been renovated recently, but it was very comfortable, quiet, and well cared-for. The restaurant in the cellar was attractive and enjoyable. Breakfast was excellent. I would agree with other...

The bar is ina nice spot slightly away and plenty of room, not squashed in , the lady of the house charming and friendly but the older gentleman there really needs to smile and make people feel welcome. The food and drinks are fine , no complaints at all, location good, but come on smile.
Excellent restaurant with delicious schnitzel and Monschauer mustard my wife ordered. I took the Salmon with the same sauce. While equally deliscious my dish was on the smaller side. Probably because of the salmon but I was a bit dissapointed nonetheless. The staff was very friendly, even with a newborn baby that got lots of loving smiles. Overall I'm a happy customer though be warned that portions...
We was here twice im August 2020 and once im August 2021. Everytime we found here tasty flammkuchen and good side dishes and very friendly team. We have been waiting our order a bit longer than usual, it was not necessary, but they bring us an apologize and served round of a free drinks.
Very good food and excellent service، vriendelijk mensen, and next time I will spend my vacation in this hotel👍
After exploring this cute town, we were looking for some just hot drinks but ended with a nice dinner. Waitresses are young girls that are nice and deliver quick service. The portion of the dish was good enough. If you are really hungry, take the Schweinehaxe. I took the chicken breast that was juicy and the mushrooms were cooked in wine which it taste great! Ended with a biscuit cake with whip cream...

This quaint little hotel was such a gem! Nestled right along the river in a charming small town, it had a warm and welcoming feel. There are many restaurant options nearby as well on property and the breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious—perfect for starting the day.
Excellent location and the staff were friendly and efficient. We ate in the restaurant too which was delicious. However our room was old and tired and very expensive for the price.
The accommodations here are very cozy, with comfortable beds, hot showers, and reasonably fast Internet. Location is everything for this property as it’s right in the middle of a quaint village with lots of charm. The restaurant provides good basic cooking at reasonable prices. Most anyone would be very happy to stay in the hotel.
We didn’t stay at the hotel, but we came here to eat and it was a great choice!
The atmosphere on the terrace was amazing, helped by the beautiful weather.
The schnitzel was delicious crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, full of flavor and definitely not dry.
The staff were friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed it and would definitely come back!
Ideally located within this small village. Staff were very friendly and we were able to park a few hundred yards up the road. The restaurant was lovely and we had a great breakfast. We stayed in a suite/family room. It was clean and a great space, but very dated and could do wuth a refresh. Felt like it was in the 80s. But that said we had a good stay and would go back.

Fabulous ........stayed here for four nights with Leger. Beautiful hotel in a gorgeous setting by the lake. Spotlessly clean, lovely helpful staff. My room was amazing - very big with king size bed and a single bed, table and chairs, flat screen tv - and still plenty of room. Lovely en suite with large shower cubicle (good, hot shower) and twin basins. Warm and cosy, felt very at home. Balcony with...
Leger coach trip to Germany for the New Year, staying at the Hotel Seemowe near Simmerath, we had a great crowd on our coach and the drivers Andy and Sonia were brilliant, I would recommend booking a Leger holiday they do some great locations and great trips.
Stayed here via Ledger Holidays. Check in was very fast and efficient. Room was a reasonable size with a Good size balcony overlooking the water. Bed was reasonably comfortable but pillows were extremely soft. Bathroom was OK with a reasonable size shower with average water pressure, but very slow to drain. Overall the room was OK, but was in need of a refurbishment to get away from the 1980s decor...
We stayed here on a leger holiday lovely hotel by the lake very clean bed was comfortable staff was very polite breakfast was very good would definitely recommended this hotel had a balcony what was very nice would definitely stay again
A lovely hotel, situated right by the lake. This was the second time we have stayed here. We had a balcony room with great views. Food is good and we ate on the terrace, although we felt the choice was a bit limited. Breakfast nice - we stayed for 3 nights and were only offered a hot breakfast dish on one occasion, but there was plenty of other choices. We would definitely go back to this hotel. Parking...

5 mins walk to downtown, so that was super convenient. We had a small dog and instead of charging 15euros, they charged 10euros.
Not a lot of hotel parking space. We had to park at another parking lot.
Breakfast was mediocre.
This hotel was perfect. Price is good and hotel is clean. There is a swimming pool and sauna(without clothes I didnt like it). Location is very close to city center. Autopark is expensive but at least there is an autopark(9€). There is no kettle in room and its made me sad a little bit but bathroom was very clean and there is bathtub. I recommend this hotel.
Wifi only worked partly. Too small parking-lot. Elevator broken. Sauna says "18+" but there are kids from 3-15 staring at naked adults and shouting around. They allow pets so there are pets hairs and huge dogs around even in the evening at the bar.
They claim they have the best price on the website but it is cheaper to go with booking.com or expedia.
Fairly basic. Can only assume it got 4 stars for having a swimming pool and sauna. Bar is closed due to longterm 'staff shortage'. Visted in March which, to be fair, is out of season but expected better in terms of bar/lounge to sit after dinner. Better dining options in centre of town.
The rooms are nicely clean, but they are a bit small. The hotel has a really nice indoor pool, but the water felt a bit cold sometimes. There's also a sauna which I haven't visited even though it looks quite nice. Breakfast was good enough.
At first glance the hotel is worth the price but there are some hidden costs like parking lot (7€/day) and there's not even a fridge, microwave or even an electric kettle in the room. There was also no cutlery in my room to make dinner, breakfast was included but I could have tea only in the morning. At the restaurant there was dried out bread from the day before and the selection of food was very...

The reception was a bit cold and seemed to be about getting our money as soon as possible. The room is OK but the bed was two singles pushed together and the shower was tiny, like something from a student flat. We had a TV with Netflix and other apps on it but were told it didn't have a WiFi connection, which it did, as I managed to connect it myself. Breakfast was OK but if you want to eat a decent...
Amazing location, great value for the money, fantastic service. All of these made it a fantastic weekend destination for us. We'll be back one day for sure.
Great hotel for a motorbike trip, secure parking garage was available.
There is a dinner buffet.
Nice hotel. Indeed the rooms need some renovation. The breakfast was quite OK (for a Dutch hotel :) ) the stuff is amazing, they are always available and helpful. But by far the best thing about this hotel is its sauna. You basically reserve and the whole sauna area, with 4 different sauna rooms, jacuzzi and showers. Is for your private use in that hour. This was wonderful experience. We would come...
During our stay, we discovered a few important aspects worth mentioning for future guests. Firstly, it's advisable to request a room at the back of the hotel to avoid the noise from the terrace and passing traffic, which can be quite disruptive. One significant drawback was the lack of air conditioning, which made the rooms a bit uncomfortable, especially during warmer days. Although the rooms were...
A great base camp location to explore the surrounding area. The staff were friendly and was able to provide helpful info about the area.
