Amazing location, great value for the money, fantastic service. All of these made it a fantastic weekend destination for us. We'll be back one day for sure.

Nice room with a large balcony and a garage to securely park bikes

I booked for a party of eight men with eight motorcycles. I dealt directly with Robert Hoevenaars and obtained a better deal than Booking.com, i.e. cheaper price, pay at premises and free cancellation. This was all done on trust as no card details were taken. I am grateful that the evening buffet was extended because of our late arrival and the free, secure garaging for our machines was appreciated

Great value for money. We were greeted by friendly staff upon arrival. The booking has breakfast included and one time 3-course dinner which was delicious and freshly prepared. Breakfast buffet has great selection. The Welcome Drink is definitely not to miss. We spent the 2 hours private session in the wellness center which has four different types of saunas. Overall, a lovely experience.

A nice quiet house. Centrally located, we walked to the old town in a short time. The breakfast has everything you need. The service is exceptionally friendly. The rooms are adequately equipped. The bathroom is well furnished and spacious.

A hotel run by a very friendly lady who constantly takes care of her guests. The breakfast is excellent, served at the table and leaves nothing to be desired. The rooms are functionally furnished, it is very clean. Apart from the breakfast room there are no other areas - no bar where you can have a drink in the evening.

Nice and cosy hotel, perfect hospitality, attentive and cheerful personnel. Clean room and almost new and modern bathroom. However, interiors are bit old fashioned, but in a good state. Wooden floors and when someone walks in a corridor, glasses on your table clink.

Magnificent personal. They are very hospitable, positive and allways with a smile on their face. Rooms are decent, cleaned dayly. Each room has 42” TV with cable TV. Breakfast is fantastic. The WI-FI internet is fast and available everywhere arround the hotel. Hotel is on the main road to Monschau, 5 minutes walking to the city. Very calm and fresh surrounding.

Excellent bed and rooms, breakfast was 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 too, would visit again if Monshau itself wouldn't have any rooms in the city itself again :D The owner was nice too and the building too, was next to a road but barely heard any cars.

Transportation: Rheinlandbus is available from Aachen, the nearest busstop is "Konzen Kirche". Rooms: "Apartment" rooms are also available for long stay. However, washing machine isn't. The 2nd floor in apartment has bustab. Food: Breakfast is buffet style. You can also take German style dinner. Fast food: Sausage shop "Zimmerman" is in front of this hotel. Shopping: Stores are in Imgenbroich. ATMs...

5 mins walk to downtown, so that was super convenient. We had a small dog and instead of charging 15euros, they charged 10euros. Not a lot of hotel parking space. We had to park at another parking lot. Breakfast was mediocre.

This hotel was perfect. Price is good and hotel is clean. There is a swimming pool and sauna(without clothes I didnt like it). Location is very close to city center. Autopark is expensive but at least there is an autopark(9€). There is no kettle in room and its made me sad a little bit but bathroom was very clean and there is bathtub. I recommend this hotel.

Wifi only worked partly. Too small parking-lot. Elevator broken. Sauna says "18+" but there are kids from 3-15 staring at naked adults and shouting around. They allow pets so there are pets hairs and huge dogs around even in the evening at the bar. They claim they have the best price on the website but it is cheaper to go with booking.com or expedia.

Fairly basic. Can only assume it got 4 stars for having a swimming pool and sauna. Bar is closed due to longterm 'staff shortage'. Visted in March which, to be fair, is out of season but expected better in terms of bar/lounge to sit after dinner. Better dining options in centre of town.

The rooms are nicely clean, but they are a bit small. The hotel has a really nice indoor pool, but the water felt a bit cold sometimes. There's also a sauna which I haven't visited even though it looks quite nice. Breakfast was good enough.

At first glance the hotel is worth the price but there are some hidden costs like parking lot (7€/day) and there's not even a fridge, microwave or even an electric kettle in the room. There was also no cutlery in my room to make dinner, breakfast was included but I could have tea only in the morning. A perfect hotel for one or two nights. It is basic but clean and comfortable. The breakfast is good and the staff very kind. Definitely a good place to stay if you want to visit Monschau

Location was great. Room was big. Bathroom too small. Unfortunately, none of of the bins were empty when we arrived. The bathroom one was filled with hair and the room one still contained plastic bottles. There was hair on the bathroom and shower door. Lovely place to stay, nice and quiet, and clean hotel, breakfast is continental only, so no English option. Car parking is limited so this needs to be booked in advance, but even so, there are only around 7 or 8 spaces. Alternate parking is available at the car parks around the town but this needs to be paid for, a discounted ticket is available from the info centre. Also there is no kettle or tea...

A lovely hotel in the very center of Monschau, literally just minutes away from the most central streets and buildings. The staff is friendly and very helpful, the breakfast was well arranged, and it was great to be able to reserve a parking spot next to the hotel. The room was spacious and newly decorated. the breackfast was very good fresh every morning with every thing that you would like for a continental breackfast with loads of extras that gave a great start to the day. The distance from monschau is not far, and loads of walks round about the b and b is pretty new and is well looked after.

Good place to be, just near the Venn, one of the most beautiful places to hike. Good beds, good breakfast and friendly hosts. Not so far from Monschau, a nice historic Village.

The guest house offers wonderful accommodation. The rooms are tastefully furnished. Breakfast is lovingly prepared and offers a surprisingly large selection. The operating family is very nice and helpful - also with tips on hikes and bike tours. We were happy to be guests there.

Really recommended 👌. Rooms are very nice and clean. Breakfast great, nothing is missing. And the Kuck family tries very hard to make you feel good all around. We'll definitely come back and we'd love to do it again🙂

The accommodations here are very cozy, with comfortable beds, hot showers, and reasonably fast Internet. Location is everything for this property as it’s right in the middle of a quaint village with lots of charm. The restaurant provides good basic cooking at reasonable prices. Most anyone would be very happy to stay in the hotel.

Ideally located within this small village. Staff were very friendly and we were able to park a few hundred yards up the road. The restaurant was lovely and we had a great breakfast. We stayed in a suite/family room. It was clean and a great space, but very dated and could do wuth a refresh. Felt like it was in the 80s. But that said we had a good stay and would go back.

Adorable hotel in an adorable town

This is a wonderful hotel in the middle of a beautiful town. Rooms are great, clean, comfortable and linens are divine. The food is excellent and as well service. The owner and the staff went beyond expectations and meet our every need. Will stay again.

Very friendly staff. Loved the location close to Monschau and Eifel national park. Beautiful building, room was spotless and lovely decor. Bed also very comfortable. Excellent breakfast, great to start the day after a good meal. It was a shame their restaurant was closed this time, next time we will eat in as well.

No English even basic. They didn't even try. And vanity products are very low quality and quantity. Why not put shower gel and a shampoo dispenser? So much better for the environment than small plastic low quality products made in China.

My family and I spent one night at the hotel and had dinner in the restaurant. The hotel is in a historic building in the wonderful Monschau old town, so to stay there was a special experience. I love old hotels that used to be Grand but today have this faded glory appearance. Squeaky stairs and floorboards, everything is crooked, the bathroom is obviously squeezed in, in later years. The bar is ina nice spot slightly away and plenty of room, not squashed in , the lady of the house charming and friendly but the older gentleman there really needs to smile and make people feel welcome. The food and drinks are fine , no complaints at all, location good, but come on smile.

Excellent restaurant with delicious schnitzel and Monschauer mustard my wife ordered. I took the Salmon with the same sauce. While equally deliscious my dish was on the smaller side. We was here twice im August 2020 and once im August 2021. Everytime we found here tasty flammkuchen and good side dishes and very friendly team. We have been waiting our order a bit longer than usual, it was not necessary, but they bring us an apologize and served round of a free drinks.

After exploring this cute town, we were looking for some just hot drinks but ended with a nice dinner. Waitresses are young girls that are nice and deliver quick service. The portion of the dish was good enough. If you are really hungry, take the Schweinehaxe. I took the chicken breast that was juicy and the mushrooms were cooked in wine which it taste great! The very warm but discreet welcome, everything was very clean, the cosiness of the room, the first day and night I was the only person staying in the hotel, so I got a personalised breakfast. (and the breakfasts are nice, you get different cheeses and hams to choose from as well as fruits, eggs, yoghurts... )The wifi worked as expected, no surprises, what was said on here was what I got.

Great rooms, even better food and super friendly service

If you are less interested in modern, timeless design and celebrate more the 70s style - green bathrooms rock - this is the right place for you. ;-) Very nice staff, clean room and I slept great. With a well-laid table for breakfast, I was able to start the wilderness trail, which started just a few meters from the house. So what more could you ask for? :-)
