During our stay, we discovered a few important aspects worth mentioning for future guests. A nice quiet house. Centrally located, we walked to the old town in a short time. The breakfast has everything you need. The service is exceptionally friendly. The rooms are adequately equipped. The bathroom is well furnished and spacious.

A hotel run by a very friendly lady who constantly takes care of her guests. The breakfast is excellent, served at the table and leaves nothing to be desired. The rooms are functionally furnished, it is very clean. Apart from the breakfast room there are no other areas - no bar where you can have a drink in the evening.

Nice and cosy hotel, perfect hospitality, attentive and cheerful personnel. Clean room and almost new and modern bathroom. However, interiors are bit old fashioned, but in a good state. Wooden floors and when someone walks in a corridor, glasses on your table clink.

Magnificent personal. They are very hospitable, positive and allways with a smile on their face. Rooms are decent, cleaned dayly. Each room has 42” TV with cable TV. Breakfast is fantastic. If you want a stay in an old German villa this property will not disappoint. A picturesque town with great food and hospitality.

Comfortable stay Our family of 2 adults and 2 children had the whole top floor which was clean and comfortable. We loved how the property had a lot of character and lovely old features so we expected that we would have to walk up the 3 flights of stairs. Haus Stehlings probably has the best view of any accommodation in Monschau. Make sure you book a river view room though (Rurzimmer). The building was built in the 1700s, so it's beautiful to look at, but internally it's not accessible for people who have limited or no mobility. Our room was very large and comfortable. I had read reviews of the "cozy" bathrooms and found them to be exactly what we needed, what more do you need than a place to do your business, wash up and have a hot shower? Everything was available and a nice reception. We felt we were in good hands. The house was equipped with all things of daily life.

Good place if you're looking to stay in the area. Houses are OK. Although some more cleaning would be needed. The place is located closed to the lake and closed to highway and local transportation. Great place if you want to rest for some days and hace some walk around the area.

Lovely family hotel. We’ve had a comfort room (more than enough space) with balcony and couch. Beds are good. The staff is very attending and nice. Food is excellent (breakfast & dinner). More than enough walking routes near the hotel. You could even drive to a village for site seeing or if you’re interested in WWII.

Unfortunately visited during the Corona period, so I couldn't get a real impression. The single room was small but very practical with a large desk and plenty of storage space. Restaurant and wellness is closed. But there are tickets for the food delivery and cutlery and glasses are ready.

We had a lovely week at Dormio Eifeler Tor. The park itself is well maintained, has a nice pool to cool off on hotter days and also a good selection of bakery items / coffee to go for the mornings, making for a comfortable stay. For kids - ours range in age from 0 to 7 - there is plenty to do even though the park is on the small side. We made good use of the pool, the soccer cage and the two playgrounds...

All in all, quite ok experience, mainly the location, the house itself, the things to do in the resort and in the surroundings, but also quite some things to improve: - Internet quality is completely unacceptable for year 2025, having to reconnect every few minutes and then still not able to load much - The pools could use a couple of extra slides or toys for the kids, one small waterslide for 4 pools...

Great resort on the outskirts of Heimbach, with an amazing view over Hasenfeld village. Great base for cyclist ready to do some climbing (❤️ climbs to Mariawald, Schmidt, and Kermeter). The resort is very kid friendly, which, unfortunately, led us to wake up every morning around 5 AM due to crying babies 🤣. Supermarket on premises was OK, better to go to supermarkets in Hasenfeld.

The location ist very nice. A big downside for families with kids is that many guests park their cars all day and night in front of the guest houses, although this is officially not allowed. But there seems to be no enforcement of car parking rules, thus nobody makes sure, that cars stop at the houses only for un/loading and are driven to the big parking space across the road.

There was some confusion when we arrived We arrived late, so there was a bit of waiting to get the directions cleared, but once we got into contact with the reception by phone, things were sorted out. The surrounding area is perfect for nature=lovers. We enjoyed the day we spent locally and found the staff at the grocery store and pharmacy to be very nice even though we don't speak German. The time we spent in this property was great, the staff were very helpful, welcoming, and friendly, the peoperty itself was well maintained and provides all what you need during your stay. The area around is great and you can go to the nearby cities in short time if you have a car, which is recommended to enjoy your time.

Had a nice time using this as our home base while doing day trips in the area. The unit was very clean with a perfect kitchen set up. We had a 1 bedroom unit with a pull out couch for the kids. Parking was easy every day. Check in / Check out was extremely easy.

The hill is real and BIG. The closest public transport is a bus at the bottom of the hill and a train station (Kall) 30 minutes away. Get your Translate app ready cause very few people in town know english! Not ideal for a no-car trip but if you’re determined and patient enough you can get by with no car.

Excellent location not far from the motorway but in a traditional setting. Spacious,clean and comfortable accommodation, friendly staff. The restaurant was closed ( for holidays we thought) but a nearby pizzeria resolved the problem . Breakfast in the hotel was excellent.

Talk about personality! This hotel has tons of it! Friendly and social hosts and basic but nice rooms. Each room has a sci-fi/fantasy theme. Nice location with possibility for a nice morning run :-). Breakfast could be better, but for the asked price it's more than sufficient! I will most certainly stay at this hotel again.

An excellent hotel with all the amenities you could wish for. The restaurant was obviously very well liked in the village as most patrons seemed local - always a good sign! Their sun terrace was marred a bit by the digging work being done in the streams just beneath. That didn't stop me from spotting both a heron and a couple of kingfishers just a few metres from where I was dining! The room was modern...

Pure and undistilled pampering. A fine selection of drinks, gregarious waiting staff and mouthwatering seasonal dishes that are fresh and house-made served in a cosy setting. I came here expecting good food but my expectations were surpassed by a wide margin. 10/10 would go again.

Best dinner we had during our stay in Eiffel, sitting in the evening sun on their terrace. I would recommend Iberico pork chops with caramelised onion and rosmary potatoes. But everything that came past us looked really good, and a bit more polished than most restaurants in the surrounding.

We had a lovely meal at Friedrichs restaurant but I cannot comment on the hotel facilities. The hotel is situated overlooking a stream. Its such a picturesque location food good too. You can eat inside which is good if you dont want the attack of the flies whilst being outside. This happened as soon as the food appeared and spoiled the ambience for me.

This hotel is tip top and a real pleasure to stay at , I stayed here for two nights and found it to be very comfortable, clean and welcoming. The lady in reception was particularly friendly , I seem to remember her farther was English and she was very kind and helpful. Ps sorry about hitting two stars earlier !!! I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. Even before you get to the restaurant, the beauty of the building will take your breath away. A large house of beautiful cobblestones with wooden logs holding up the roof and walls. Stunning. The service is lovely, proactive and knows what you want before you know it. And the food... is to die for. An absolute must-to-visit if you are in the area.

Excellent place. Rooms we're very nicely furbished, clean and comfortable. The TV was a bit old, so a bit difficult to operate. High qualitiy food, with enough to chose from, even if it was a bit expensive. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location excellent for an evening walk. Very nice hotel with lots of parking places, I could park my motorcycle in a garage. The hotel has a very nice terras, not too big but good and clean rooms, a bit hot in summer times (no airco). Hotel seems well maintained. Staff was kind and food and drinks good. Hotel is just in between Vicht and Zweifall. We did an evening walk to Zweifall and back, very nice 1 hour walk. I want to come back here

very nice hotel near the outer ring of the city. Only about a 10 minute drive to downtown, 15-20 minutes to RWTH. My room was spacious with a separate bedroom. There was a small kitchen but there were absolutely no plates, utensils, pots, etc. The dining room did let me take a fork, knife and plate to keep in my room. Underground parking is available for €15 per night.

I booked this hotel for swimming pool, and it’s beyond my expectation. The swimming pool is not big, but with shower, fitting room, toilets and shampoo/hairdryer. These rooms and water in the pool are warm and you don‘t need to worry about getting cold after swimming. Really nice for relaxing. The rooms are modern and spacious, with balcony, small kitchen, TV, etc. Although a little far from city center...

There is a chinese / asian receptionist that attended to us around 8pm on 18 Dec when we were checking in. We thought he was particularly rude in his expressions and sentences and has a condescending tone. In addition there is no complimentary water being provided which is usually provided by other hotels.

Nice place, really close to the main station. The room is a bit small, for one person is not a issue, but maybe for two it will be too tight. Room is very clean, but a bit dark. Bathroom is really small, almost a bit uncomfortable.

Location across from the Aachen central station and taxis and buses and 15mins walk to the town centre. Plenty of restaurants and cafes around the hotel. Beds are very firm mattress. No kettle or tea coffee facilities and no bar fridge in the room but breakfast available for purchase in the dining area in the basement. Plenty of cafes next to the hotel. Check in and out easy and staff helpful.

The cleaner didn't knock before entering the house, and didn't close the door after leaving? What's wrong with this?

The room was spacious and comfortable. The door was not properly fitted and made noises, but it didn't bother me. The hair dryer was broken, but there was a new one available and I was able to use it without any problems.

Just opposite the train station. It takes about half an hour to walk to the city center. The room is quite large, clean and tidy, and the heating is also powerful. The breakfast is simple, but it is worth the price.

Very nice hotel. Very good breakfast. Only about 5 minutes to walk to the dom, town hall and treasury. And about 10 minutes to the shopping centre. The reason why I only gave it 4 stars is: the Wi-Fi wasn't working in our room. If you are reliant on it, it can be very frustrating. But the gentleman said he would look into it.

The Hotel has a perfect location. It is just next to the downtown (altstadt). The breakfast is very good as well. The internet connection could be better. If u depends on internet, I recommend to choose another hotel.
