Where to stay in Oberaudorf

I loved everything (reception, spa, cat, my peace and relaxation) until I encountered the waiter with no hair. On 2 occasions I saw and heard him treat other staff rude and speak down to them - in front of guests!!! That’s a NO-GO. It made me feel so uncomfortable, that all relaxations from the sauna and my appetite were gone again. Sorry, you have to find new staff that’s not ruining the vibe for...

We spent a wonderful weekend with friends in March at the Tatzlwurm. The service was wonderful as always, the Kiesl family and their staff gave us a warm welcome - feel-good factor times 10! Beautiful spa area, soothing treatments, delicious food with friendly service "Gspusi", the host family takes great care to ensure that you have a pleasant stay. The saunas are open from 1 p.m. The three of us girls thank you for the lovely day spa... see you soon 😊

We went to the day spa because of the rainy weather, because the modern homepage lured us in. It wasn't a complete disappointment, but it wasn't really worth the price either. The only modern thing about the spa area is the quiet beach area, but unfortunately you're rather cold there. The promised warm sand wasn't there. Bernhard’s is an absolutely beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive, and the restaurant is fantastic. We stayed in the Seebacher Haus, which is right across the street from the main building. If I am ever lucky enough to come back to Oberaudorf, I will for sure be staying here again!!

Friendly, warm and delicious. Been here twice and highly recommend the Züri Geschnetzeltes with a Glas of Riesling. The place is the perfect, leissurly blend between Wirtshaus and Fine Dining. The Austro-Bavarian style is seldomly presented so well.

A small but very nice restaurant/hotel. The food is really good, but a little on the pricey side 16 - 22 euros pp for a main dish. But still I keep coming back to Bernards. Two thumbs up!

On our way back to Denmark from Zell am see, we had dinner at Bernard's. We had no reservations for table, but in this area, (south Germany - north Austria) you can easily get 2 seats at a bigger table, together with other people even if it's a high class restaurant. We had the most lovely food - I myself took the plate: 3 various fish from the lokal see, and normally not being so fond of desserts...

The owners unfortunately renovated the guiding to the point that it's missing much of the character it once had. The food was good, not great, and the prices are quite high. The location and exterior of the building are great. Also the wait staff was extremely friendly.

Very very very nice mountain inn, easy to reach via the mountain station. But also with a short hike above the middle station. Food and drinks were great and at affordable prices. The view of the glacier can be enjoyed wonderfully from the mountain cross.

Very nice accommodation, extremely friendly owners. Rooms are very clean and in addition to that the dinner was also outstanding. Everything freshly prepared. They serve beer from a small brewery which tastes very good. Close to the Austrian border. For me it was perfect because I had a trip to Italy the next day. I will definitely visit this place again.

Great food, especially in our coffee breaks with delicious brain food! The breakfast and dinner offer was also nicely diverse and everyone's taste were fullfilled. The meeting room facilities were very handy and everything was on point.

We had a wonderful weekend in the mountains as a family of 4. Our kids loved the KidsClub, the care givers were super sweet and friendly, and offered colouring and crafts that kept our kids entertained while my husband went to the gym and I went on a quick hike. Food selection was great, even a selection of gluten-free bread at the buffet.

Truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is beautiful with many outdoor activities nearby. The mountain view from our suite was extraordinary. We enjoyed the variety of delicious food and beverages included with the all-inclusive package. I especially liked the access to coffee machines all day, including the frothed milk available for my daughter. The service at breakfast/dinner was attentive...

We had a great experience at the hotel with our 6&8 years old kids. The food was amazing and there was so much to do. We are definitely coming back. Highly recommend

Pros: very nicely thought out hotel, with large well organised rooms, lots of amenities, good gym, several outdoor and indoor pools, playgrounds, a small stream to play in, great indoor playground for little ones, kids club. Lots of great sports activities for adults and kids. Kids club has different activities in the mornings and afternoons. Overall you can leave your kids with them between 10:00...

Beautiful quaint room and hotel. In the entrance area, there is a fireplace with a cozy lounge, which makes you feel right at home. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the owner, Ms. Lill, was always a nice chat and courteous. We didn't miss anything here. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired, really tasty ... Definitely recommended ... We wish the team all the best and thank you...

We travelled in summer and Location was super quiet. Few restaurants open in the evening. Small but very functional kitchen. Bring a few basics, like salt, pepper, oil, chopping knife. Comfortable beds, great shower room, and big balcony. Large Internet enabled flat screen TV allowed us to login to our own netflix and YouTube accounts and get English language programming. Edeka supermarket and railway...

Everything you need in the room. Good internet. Breakfast OK. Good coffee from the machine at breakfast.

The room is simple but fine, surroundings beautiful. Reception was doing other things behind the desk when when we arrived. No greatings and no eye contact was made. We had to wait until computerwork was done. Does not make you feel welcome. Maybe a bad day for them?

Nice apartments. We were provided with a bowl of fruit at our arrival. The breakfast was €7.50 per person.

The staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful the food is excellent and the prices are very good value finally the area is nature pure I would say that's where God would take his holidays

The one bed room is slightly above basic, very clean and nice. There is a small TV. No safe in the room but this doesn't concern me now. You can (and should) eat at the restaurant, the schnitzel is really good (7.9 Eur). Waitresses are nice and polite.

Quite convenient with self checkin. Free parking. Spacious room for family. The only thing I concern is that my credit card info was leaked a few days after checking in at this hotel to a company named GS Star GmbH in Munich which is pretty close to this hotel, Please check your internal staff regarding this. Really critical issue!!!

Everything was fine. The family room Is highly recommended as a family.

The hotel is new, very clean, has excellent parking and the hosts are very nice, but the rooms are very small. There are no cups in the room and no possibility to add blankets and pillows and did me a big favor by bringing me another pillow after it was explained to me that there were two pillows for the room. There is room for improvement. Breakfast was good.

There is no reception after 10pm until 8am Room has no amenities no kettle no glasses zero.

It's a good deal considering the very low price, one cannot expect too much. The bed and the bathroom were very clean. The room was a bit dark (burned-out reading lamp above the bed). The breakfast was good. Check-in was strictly at 3 p.m. (not earlier). Overall you got what you paid for!

We loved our stay at the Gasthof Huberwirt. The rooms were clean, comfortable and cosy. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and breakfast was delicious. We will most certainly be back.

The space is really nice, the location is good, even though we were just passing by the area. The rooms are more than what we need, the person who attended us was really welcome, and the food in the restaurant is really nice. Nice place to stay. Have parking, and for motorcycles is good parking.

We stayed here for one night on our way to Italy, it's conveniently located close to the highway in a small typical Bavarian village. They had restaurant with very friendly staff (general friendly staff in the hotel) they even were VERY concerned when I didn't finish my meal (because I ate to much already that day, the food was definitely good). Also our dog was allowed to stay with a minimal extra...
