I loved everything (reception, spa, cat, my peace and relaxation) until I encountered the waiter with no hair.
On 2 occasions I saw and heard him treat other staff rude and speak down to them - in front of guests!!! That’s a NO-GO.
It made me feel so uncomfortable, that all relaxations from the sauna and my appetite were gone again.
Sorry, you have to find new staff that’s not ruining the vibe for...
Amazing place, great service and setting. Facilities are brilliant with a great gym, the views are delightful and the local area is really nice. The food is great too

Bernhard’s is an absolutely beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive, and the restaurant is fantastic. We stayed in the Seebacher Haus, which is right across the street from the main building. If I am ever lucky enough to come back to Oberaudorf, I will for sure be staying here again!!
Friendly, warm and delicious. Been here twice and highly recommend the Züri Geschnetzeltes with a Glas of Riesling. The place is the perfect, leissurly blend between Wirtshaus and Fine Dining. The Austro-Bavarian style is seldomly presented so well.
Good pizza, perfect service, beergarden!!! Next to the skilifts.

A small but very nice restaurant/hotel. The food is really good, but a little on the pricey side 16 - 22 euros pp for a main dish. But still I keep coming back to Bernards. Two thumbs up!
On our way back to Denmark from Zell am see, we had dinner at Bernard's. We had no reservations for table, but in this area, (south Germany - north Austria) you can easily get 2 seats at a bigger table, together with other people even if it's a high class restaurant. We had the most lovely food - I myself took the plate: 3 various fish from the lokal see, and normally not being so fond of desserts...

Greatly prepared for the Corona situation, everything, but really everything, can already be done via an app, from ordering breakfast to asking for room cleaning.
There are also other "corona-compatible" solutions for those who are not into mobile communication.
For special requests such as bike rental ... there is the possibility and there is a warm and cordial atmosphere in the house!

Very hospitable. Great rooms, great breakfast, great playground for the little ones. There are little things to complain about everywhere. Still 5 stars.
Really all very friendly. We found a great place with 4 children. Very lovingly furnished and equipped with many chic and nice details. Nice little playground in front of the terrace. The breakfast service in the room is really great. Breakfast can be booked simply and easily via the app and is very, very tasty!
As soon as we arrived we were greeted very nicely and it went on like this. No matter where we were, entrance to the pension or breakfast room, you always got a smile and was welcomed nicely. Very nice host family. Rooms with a balcony offer everything you need. Extremely good cuisine, fresh products from the region are freshly prepared. Breakfast ok, everything is replenished immediately. Only the location on the road from Oberaudorf towards Rosenheim is not advantageous for the rooms facing the front.

Definitely a quite expensive hotel, but if you consider the great wellness-section and the extraordinary breakfast as well as the short distance to the ski-lift it is definitely worth the price. Sometimes, however, I got the impression that the waiters working at the restaurant had some difficulties to cope with getting the tables cleaned up.

The hotel is cute, cosy and with good food. The village is very nice…mountain views, close-by lakes, and views like this.
A great hotel with friendly staff, nice and clean rooms and an really excellent restaurant. Our family has visited and revisited multiple times for many years.
Also has their own butchery and bikes (some electric) to borrow to explore the area. Dog friendly.

The staff was very nice to us. Room was beautiful with balcony and view to the mountains. We liked the wooden equipment very much. It was very cozy. But the best was breakfast - to big and tasty for two people to make it without consequences later on the ski. 😁

2 Hasen, Hühnern, 2 Katzen.
Sehr freundliche, umgängliche und unaufdringliche Gastgeber.
Der ganze Hof inkl. Stallanlagen, Kräutergarten durfte „erobert“ werden. Für die Kinder ein Traum.
Alles sehr ruhig und idyllisch. Nachts waren nur die Grillen zu hören, tagsüber war das lauteste das Muhen der Kühe.
Die Wohnung ist komplett neu renoviert, toll eingerichtet...

Good value, clean room, but the shower tried to flood the room! Someone messed up when laying the tile, and with no lip to hold it in, the water flowed out into the room instead of down the drain.
Very nice, clean hotel close to the highway exit, perfect place to rest after the journey, comfortable beds, clean linen, clean Bathroom in the morning, delicious coffee and immediately back on the road, I highly recommend it
I was impressed how well the room was sound insulated, absolutely no noise from the motorway. Modern feel and we had a good night. We also had a mountain view.
Rooms were clean and well maintained, counter open 24/7 friendly staff.
It is a highway hotel, so you don't go there for the view or to relax,
It is, however, perfect for a layover.
They have a standard complement for dogs in the rooms.
Rooms are noisy though.
Stayed here on my way from Austria to France in June 2023. A completely unexpected luxury for the price. I booked the room sight unseen and was very pleasantly surprised. Spacious room, excellent service, great scenery, quiet (even though it's beside the motorway!) with easy access, parking and even a McDonalds next door if you need a doppel-Cheeseburger!
Lots of wonderful walks nearby and good food...

The owners unfortunately renovated the guiding to the point that it's missing much of the character it once had. The food was good, not great, and the prices are quite high. The location and exterior of the building are great. Also the wait staff was extremely friendly.
Very very very nice mountain inn, easy to reach via the mountain station. But also with a short hike above the middle station. Food and drinks were great and at affordable prices. The view of the glacier can be enjoyed wonderfully from the mountain cross.

Very nice accommodation, extremely friendly owners. Rooms are very clean and in addition to that the dinner was also outstanding. Everything freshly prepared. They serve beer from a small brewery which tastes very good. Close to the Austrian border. For me it was perfect because I had a trip to Italy the next day. I will definitely visit this place again.

Peaceful, kinda cosy and convenient. Breakfast, though a little savoury heavy, was good enough. No lift. We arrived close to 21:00, when their kitchen closes. Couldn't tell if they were being helpful or making us choose certain things. Either way, the food and beer were good and went down well.

I loved it that my room had a door and windows that you can open wide and let the mountain air fill your room. Staff was efficient, helpful and polite. The location is great with the minor downside that from my room the view was on the parking lot first and the forests second.

Everyone is supper nice in this hostal, we came here to spend our first Bayerischen Christmas and we really enjoyed the experience. The food and breakfast is good and everything is fresh, the prices are more than adequate, considering this is Bayern and near the Alps. The accomodations are good, the place has been recently renewed and everything looks new.

Service however was not good – the waiter was very transactional and immediately left the table in the middle of the round ordering and so half of the table could not place the order. Absolutely amazingly accomodating staff, we accidentally booked for the week before our flights, the day after we were booked to arrive we rang up, they had waited for us the day before, but changed our dates free of charge! They provide us with an extra bed when we asked two nice rooms in a suit! Great breakfast, and restaurant attached.

Staff friendly and nice, but few things looked after for the little ones during our week. You should also think about whether the sports pool can maintain the lost grades. The pool was way too cold.

Fantastic Hotel! Super easy to use, all the food for the kids and breakfast/dinner for adults included. The food was great, the rooms were comfortable, the layout modern. It had everything we could have wanted in an idyllic setting.

Due to the risk of COVID, we waited till the last minute to make our vacation hotel booking. In hindsight, it was the best decision. We booked in the Das Bayrischzell Familotel. This is a new facility with exceptional service. We can highly recommend based on our experience.
