Where to stay in Oberhof

We stayed at the hotel during the Biathlon World Cup. Comfortable rooms, balanced and delicious food in the restaurant, the room was cleaned daily. I liked that there is a gym, sauna, swimming pool. After the competition, it was convenient to recover in bad weather. Special thanks to the employee at the reception, Muhammad. A friendly person, helped with any questions. I hope next year we will stay...

In general, the stay was successful. The staff speaks little English. There was one incident at a children's attraction. The animator couldn't take control. Parents and grandparents took over and as a result my children were made to cry three times. It was sad.

A bit outdated hotel, too expensive in the winter season.

This modernised and updated hotel reminds the so-called "good old days" of the Eastern Germany. Very simple rooms with basic facilities, and with possible beautiful views of the surroundings. The hotel is best for your daily hiking trips around the wonderful surroundings. Breakfast, lunch, dinner food is basic and simple, bust sufficient. There is still an atmosphere of disciplined looks and behaviour...

Rooms are clean and food in restaurants is good. Hotel is a little bit older and a carpet in the rooms are not appropriate anymore.

The stay was fine but there was no fridge in the room and it not even very spacious. Heater was even not working in the middle of the night. Overall, good experience if these things get improve it will be much better

The food and service were rather good for a really acceptable price. The environment in the restaurant is not that nice. Kind of dated and not very nicely decorated.

Wunderful short trip in the winterwunderland. We rented two of the holiday homes. They were very beautiful and clean with a lot of space for all our friends. We did some bowling in the sporthotel and it was no problem to rent a sledge for our baby. We can recommend this Hotel and the holiday homes to other guest's a lot.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was really good. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

We spent one night in the “Zum Gründle” hotel in the Jägersuite and were very satisfied. It is very clean and decorated to match the theme. The equipment was great and conveyed the desired atmosphere in the hunter's hut style. The hotel staff was very friendly and nice. The rich breakfast rounded off the great experience in the hotel. We would love to come back!

Very friendly welcome, beautiful newly renovated rooms, rich breakfast. In the evening in the Ausspanne (pub) highly recommended. No problem with a dog. For my wife and for me again and again at any time.

We had booked an apartment, which of course was great in terms of size. The bathroom was newly renovated, the middle room was used by our daughter. When it was set up, however, it was very reminiscent of grandmother's household liquidation. It consisted of a sofa and an armchair. This was actually quite useless right next to the sofa. Unfortunately, our daughter couldn't sleep on the sofa all night...

This was our second stay at Konsumhotel - last time we stayed in Berghof. The apartment was getting on in years. The dismantled curtain lay on the rather old sofa. The cloakroom was damaged, the soap was stretched with water and flooded the counter. The motion detector in the hallway was a shock when you wanted to go to the toilet in the evening! The evening buffet was delicious. In the morning there felt like the cheese from the day before ...

Good food, friendly service, who could sometimes be a bit "faster". Extensive spirits cocktail menu. Very good selection of gin and whiskey. Not exactly cheap, anyway 👍

Friendly and good reception, parking good and sufficient, but cost per day extra, this is not up-to-date and should be inclusive for hotel guests. Standard rooms are not very big but adequate the bathroom is however very small, at the cleanliness there is nothing to complain about. Beautiful and well-kept wellness area. Were there during the Rookie Cup downhill. Accommodation was newly renovated, everything was super new and clean. Parking spaces directly at the hotel. Breakfast buffet was very great. Lots of choice. Can recommend it with a clear conscience.

a huge property with big rooms & a big toilet/bathroom. very rare to find such spacious hotel rooms & toilets in europe. downside the breakfast place was quite a walking distance from the room. the access to first floor rooms has no elevator so one has to lift the bags. to the entry reception as well there is no doorman so one lifts the bags & goes to the reception to be told the room has been allotted...

Huge hotel with pool and small gym included. Pool was saltwater, open until 22. There was spa available if you paid extra. The rooms were nice, lots of free samples of body lotion etc, free apples to eat, beds were comfortable. Free tea was served in the hallway. Lobby was very cozy. The restaurant was ok, it was a little too expensive but the food was tasty. Breakfast was good also. They had lots...

Spent one night here in mid September and were generally pleased with the experience. Our room was fantastic (especially the bathroom) and the hotel had all the elements one expects in a spa town (pool, sauna, massage options, wellness treatments etc). We were particularly impressed with the breakfast (the best of the five hotels we stayed in) and the helpfulness of the staff. Our only complaint ...

The personal was really friendly and always serviable. The room was very beautiful, clean, fully equiped, warm. Every day came cleaning personal. The view ist splendid. The location is 15 minutes to the city centre. The breakfast was great and complete. The restaurant was fabulous but the antmosphere was not so detense.

A great getaway stay for some quiet in the mountain forest. It was full of snow and fog when we stayed there but even then, we could see that it would be beautiful in summer. It's romantic in its rustic way. Lobby decor is very welcoming and feels like home. Room was clean (we had 2 beds + 1) and came with toiletries (no toothbrush) and clean sheets and towels for 3. More than enough storage wardrobe...
