The personal was really friendly and always serviable. The room was very beautiful, clean, fully equiped, warm. Every day came cleaning personal. The view ist splendid. The location is 15 minutes to the city centre. The breakfast was great and complete. The restaurant was fabulous but the antmosphere was not so detense.

Nobody at the check-in desk & no signs who to ring to get someone to come and check us in. Eventually we tracked down the owner at a house on the property. We booked a room with a bath but got a shower and infrared sauna instead. Different but nice. Very newly built place. Work still ongoing so a bit noisy but it is very nice. We (4 hikers from the Rhineland) were welcomed in a friendly manner. The spacious rooms and the breakfast met our expectations. From my point of view, the pension is recommendable.

The house is getting on in years. But the rooms are nicely renovated and clean. It's pretty central in a quiet area. The breakfast is sufficient and therefore the price-performance ratio is ok.

The stay was fine but there was no fridge in the room and it not even very spacious. Heater was even not working in the middle of the night. Overall, good experience if these things get improve it will be much better

The food and service were rather good for a really acceptable price. The environment in the restaurant is not that nice. Kind of dated and not very nicely decorated.

We spent one night in the “Zum Gründle” hotel in the Jägersuite and were very satisfied. It is very clean and decorated to match the theme. The equipment was great and conveyed the desired atmosphere in the hunter's hut style. The hotel staff was very friendly and nice. The rich breakfast rounded off the great experience in the hotel. We would love to come back!

Very friendly welcome, beautiful newly renovated rooms, rich breakfast. In the evening in the Ausspanne (pub) highly recommended. No problem with a dog. For my wife and for me again and again at any time.

We had booked an apartment, which of course was great in terms of size. The bathroom was newly renovated, the middle room was used by our daughter. When it was set up, however, it was very reminiscent of grandmother's household liquidation. It consisted of a sofa and an armchair. This was actually quite useless right next to the sofa. A cosy place with a long history, very much of the inventory is being modernized at the moment. The bathroom with the shower is great due to the modern wall tiles and clever room layout. We ordered the 3 course-meal, that you can choose from the general menu. The food was really delicious and the staff were friendly. It is a nice decorated and quiet place.

Breakfast at the nearby hotel was great with different options. Also the usage of the hotel's amenities was useable for the guests.

We didn't stay the night, but we went to the restaurant and had a very good dinner. The dishes are quite interesting creations from originally local dishes. The dumplings are homemade and very good. The restaurant is on the pricey side. Staff was friendly.

The apartment was getting on in years. The dismantled curtain lay on the rather old sofa. The cloakroom was damaged, the soap was stretched with water and flooded the counter. Huge hotel with pool and small gym included. Pool was saltwater, open until 22. There was spa available if you paid extra. The rooms were nice, lots of free samples of body lotion etc, free apples to eat, beds were comfortable. Free tea was served in the hallway. Lobby was very cozy. Spent one night here in mid September and were generally pleased with the experience. Our room was fantastic (especially the bathroom) and the hotel had all the elements one expects in a spa town (pool, sauna, massage options, wellness treatments etc). We stayed at the hotel during the Biathlon World Cup. Comfortable rooms, balanced and delicious food in the restaurant, the room was cleaned daily. I liked that there is a gym, sauna, swimming pool. In general, the stay was successful. The staff speaks little English. There was one incident at a children's attraction. The animator couldn't take control. Parents and grandparents took over and as a result my children were made to cry three times. It was sad.

Rooms are clean and food in restaurants is good. Hotel is a little bit older and a carpet in the rooms are not appropriate anymore.

The hotel in itself is a great place but what makes it even better is the view surrounding it. The perfect place to come for some peaceful and relaxing time with great amenities available around the clock. An ideal place to come in the winter if you love winter sports such as sking and sleding etc. The nearness to Rennsteig makes it even more suitable for a variety of activities. Nice hotel with many mini-golf tracks. We enjoyed our stay in one of the apartments (not in the main building). The kitchen is practical for preparing simple foods, with a 4-burner electric stove, an oven, a microwave and a mini fridge. But there is no dish washer, nor kitchen towel or oven glove.

The hotel is large and in general comfortable. The rooms are quite standard, but have everything you need. There are many facilities available on the hotel grounds, including swimming pool & sauna, pool and foosball tables, a small arcade game room, table tennis, gym and more. The staff was not very nice in the hotel restaurants.
