We stayed at the hotel during the Biathlon World Cup. Comfortable rooms, balanced and delicious food in the restaurant, the room was cleaned daily. I liked that there is a gym, sauna, swimming pool. After the competition, it was convenient to recover in bad weather. Special thanks to the employee at the reception, Muhammad. A friendly person, helped with any questions. I hope next year we will stay in this hotel again

So-so hotel with expensive price. Very small bathrooms. Uncomfortable beds with paper thin pillows. Not very friendly service at the buffet. Buffet was nothing to brag about.

The hotel is run down. The onky good thing about it is the breakfast. The amount you have to pay for parking is crazy. The customer service is lacking, the water pressure is non-existent, and the shower water comes out in a trickle. Our room had carpet beetles (Yuck!) and smelled like poopoo diapers and your room will not be cleaned when housekeeping comes they will not change the sheets they only replace towels, they will not vacuum, change out the drinking glasses, or wipe anything down. The pool is small and childrens play area is terrible, the kids get bored because there is not much to play on for the kids, the electric cars do not work and you will not get your money back so too bad don't even ask, and the people who work there are so very very rude. They also charge you to enter to just sit there, so if grandparents just want to come along to watch the grand kids, they will be charged to sit there. This hotel is not worth staying at and we will not stay there again.

In general, the stay was successful. The staff speaks little English. There was one incident at a children's attraction. The animator couldn't take control. Parents and grandparents took over and as a result my children were made to cry three times. It was sad.

Nice hotel with many mini-golf tracks. We enjoyed our stay in one of the apartments (not in the main building). The kitchen is practical for preparing simple foods, with a 4-burner electric stove, an oven, a microwave and a mini fridge. But there is no dish washer, nor kitchen towel or oven glove.

The hotel is large and in general comfortable. The rooms are quite standard, but have everything you need. There are many facilities available on the hotel grounds, including swimming pool & sauna, pool and foosball tables, a small arcade game room, table tennis, gym and more. The staff was not very nice in the hotel restaurants.

The hotel in itself is a great place but what makes it even better is the view surrounding it. The perfect place to come for some peaceful and relaxing time with great amenities available around the clock. An ideal place to come in the winter if you love winter sports such as sking and sleding etc. The nearness to Rennsteig makes it even more suitable for a variety of activities.

Worst hotel service I have ever got. Far below the German average. Only few waiters speak English. They were unable to change a light bulb during our two weeks stay. The restaurant is only a bufet, they didn't have normal lunch, just some mini dishes. Breakfast is boring, no vegetables in summer to eat. Wi-fi disconnects always, but fast enough. The bar is closed in the weekends. Etc, etc...

I’m trying to get my refund since a month eventhough I canceled within the allowed period. They always have a silly reason to postpone it; “staff is on vacation”, “we are waiting for approval”. I cannot understand why it takes so long. I will start legal process next week. It’s a pity because it seemed to be a nice place to stay.
