We stayed at the hotel during the Biathlon World Cup. Comfortable rooms, balanced and delicious food in the restaurant, the room was cleaned daily. I liked that there is a gym, sauna, swimming pool. After the competition, it was convenient to recover in bad weather. Special thanks to the employee at the reception, Muhammad. A friendly person, helped with any questions. I hope next year we will stay in this hotel again

So-so hotel with expensive price. Very small bathrooms. Uncomfortable beds with paper thin pillows. Not very friendly service at the buffet. Buffet was nothing to brag about.

The hotel is run down. The onky good thing about it is the breakfast. The amount you have to pay for parking is crazy. The customer service is lacking, the water pressure is non-existent, and the shower water comes out in a trickle. Our room had carpet beetles (Yuck!) and smelled like poopoo diapers and your room will not be cleaned when housekeeping comes they will not change the sheets they only replace towels, they will not vacuum, change out the drinking glasses, or wipe anything down. The pool is small and childrens play area is terrible, the kids get bored because there is not much to play on for the kids, the electric cars do not work and you will not get your money back so too bad don't even ask, and the people who work there are so very very rude. They also charge you to enter to just sit there, so if grandparents just want to come along to watch the grand kids, they will be charged to sit there. This hotel is not worth staying at and we will not stay there again.

In general, the stay was successful. The staff speaks little English. There was one incident at a children's attraction. The animator couldn't take control. Parents and grandparents took over and as a result my children were made to cry three times. It was sad.

Hard to know what exactly to say about the panorama hotel. It’s worn pretty much everywhere. Rooms are small and if you’re here in the summer time you’ll never escape the scorching heat as the windows only open slightly for safety reasons. There’s no ventilation in the bathrooms so if you do decide to use the pool, your swimwear will never dry. Our toilet was clogged and required service so we couldn’t use it for an hour and a half. Bit annoying staying on the 9th floor with two small kids and having to travel to the basement for toilet use. There are no mini fridges in the rooms which is also a bit annoying when it’s 34 degree Celsius The pool is hot - so don’t expect to cool off on a hot day. The pool changing areas are newly renovated and nice but also lacks ventilation. Restaurant is good - buffet is solid well made German food. The play areas are good but again hot, even if it’s only 20 degrees outside

This modernised and updated hotel reminds the so-called "good old days" of the Eastern Germany. Very simple rooms with basic facilities, and with possible beautiful views of the surroundings. The hotel is best for your daily hiking trips around the wonderful surroundings. Breakfast, lunch, dinner food is basic and simple, bust sufficient. There is still an atmosphere of disciplined looks and behaviour. Nice.

No english speaking personal, nowhere in hotel Rooms were dusty, dirty, not vacuumed for some time Hallways the same, dusty dirty… We were looking for fresh towels everyday, they didnt dry in the room and they didnt change them! In 10 days they cleaned our room once! Food was worse than before covid (we were there every year before covid) was less food, if you are sport type of person, there is no food for you. We were waiting for drinks at dinner for more than 30 min, few times we finished already before we got it. But she sign me on receipt like we drink it!!! Disaster! Sadly, we wont come back! Will to oberhof, every year just not in this hotel. And before covid we loved it so much! We gave them 10!!!

Nice hotel with many mini-golf tracks. We enjoyed our stay in one of the apartments (not in the main building). The kitchen is practical for preparing simple foods, with a 4-burner electric stove, an oven, a microwave and a mini fridge. But there is no dish washer, nor kitchen towel or oven glove.

The hotel is large and in general comfortable. The rooms are quite standard, but have everything you need. There are many facilities available on the hotel grounds, including swimming pool & sauna, pool and foosball tables, a small arcade game room, table tennis, gym and more. The staff was not very nice in the hotel restaurants.
