Concerning the restaurant: Sadly my order was not listened to. I ordered without cranberry sauce and a salad without dressing, it came with sauces. Other than that the food was alright, a bit salty, but that's often with German food.

Nice rooms (the pillows were a bit of a joke: more like medium sized baby duvets), nice food, friendly service. A bit noisy if in a room facing the road (very popular with bikers, which was also why we were there). Free range chickens, ducks, geese, a friendly pig, goats and sheep. Dogs welcome at €10 per dog per night.

Suhl sounds like a good name for an evil wizard. The best hotel stay I've had in ages. Nothing fancy, but everything just worked as it should. You need your chip to work the lift. That slowed me down a minute but i am not a smart man.

Young boy, I am stranded here because I had a flat tire. Price performance is okay but not great. I don't know when my bathroom mirror was last cleaned in my room, but maybe too high standards for you who knows. When you took a shower there were still any names on the mirror that you could see about the condensation / steam that of course makes me think how clean the rest is ... One should definitely...

Big room and many things to do close by. the only thing bothered was the restaurant, the food on the cart was wayy too salty and cheap offerings (in a bad way)

Went to Suhl to research my famìly history All the staff at hotel and townhall and Church where every helpful. Hotel had recent upgrades and good rooms . The rooms all have working air conditioners which seems rare in Europe. I would recommend this hotel .

Very convenient location, city center, easy to get to. I can only rate the restaurant. Waiting time was 30 minutes (full restaurant) and the menu is very small but nice. You can get your money's worth here. The food is in the average price range (10-20 €). The food was served warm and nicely presented. It was very tasty and you get full here. The service was very friendly. Highly recommended.

My experience at the hotel and with the provided breakfast was very good. In the meantime, I have asked the hotel to return to me an electric toothbrush an Oral-B made by Braum, which I left accidentally in my room 501 on my checkout day of May 27. Very nice and pleasant hotel. The rooms are cosy and quiet. The stuff is nice and kindly. The dinner was great. If you visit the town is really nice place to stay.

I like the hotel, however they have changed some of the things at breakfast: no croissants anymore, no specialty cheeses amongst others, which were two of the highlights for me. and that while pricing is going up the rest was fine

Really good location if arriving to Suhl by train as it is right in front of the station. Breakfast is nice and simple with fruits available. Room was nice and spacious, wish there was AC but those are rare in Germany.

While the location is unbeatable and the views are stunning, the rooms are average at most, mattresses are ok, cushions are super thin and not really usable. We signed up for the buffet dinner at EUR 29 including drinks. Pretty expensive for what we actually got: Worst buffet I´ve seen in a long time, meat was dry, the Spaetzle and rice were tasteless. Don´t eat there if you care. Go eat out and only...

The Ringberghotel high above Suhl is an impressive building, worth a visit just for its open location! Panoramic views, clean and functional rooms. The food tasted great, the service was friendly and polite. Despite the Corona requirements, the guest feels comfortable and is happy to return!

Wunderful short trip in the winterwunderland. We rented two of the holiday homes. They were very beautiful and clean with a lot of space for all our friends. We did some bowling in the sporthotel and it was no problem to rent a sledge for our baby. We can recommend this Hotel and the holiday homes to other guest's a lot.

The personal was really friendly and always serviable. The room was very beautiful, clean, fully equiped, warm. Every day came cleaning personal. The view ist splendid. The location is 15 minutes to the city centre. The breakfast was great and complete. The restaurant was fabulous but the antmosphere was not so detense.

A great getaway stay for some quiet in the mountain forest. It was full of snow and fog when we stayed there but even then, we could see that it would be beautiful in summer. It's romantic in its rustic way. Lobby decor is very welcoming and feels like home. Room was clean (we had 2 beds + 1) and came with toiletries (no toothbrush) and clean sheets and towels for 3. More than enough storage wardrobe...

The apartment was getting on in years. The dismantled curtain lay on the rather old sofa. The cloakroom was damaged, the soap was stretched with water and flooded the counter. The motion detector in the hallway was a shock when you wanted to go to the toilet in the evening! The evening buffet was delicious. In the morning there felt like the cheese from the day before ...

Easy to find the hotel. Friendly staff. Room is big enough and clear. Breakfast is is good. Kitchen is good (lovely medium-rare ribeye). Gym needs to be refurbished, I suggest to change the old unmaintained cardio machines. Was good to be here.

We had booked an apartment, which of course was great in terms of size. The bathroom was newly renovated, the middle room was used by our daughter. When it was set up, however, it was very reminiscent of grandmother's household liquidation. It consisted of a sofa and an armchair. This was actually quite useless right next to the sofa. Unfortunately, our daughter couldn't sleep on the sofa all night...

The stay was fine but there was no fridge in the room and it not even very spacious. Heater was even not working in the middle of the night. Overall, good experience if these things get improve it will be much better

a huge property with big rooms & a big toilet/bathroom. very rare to find such spacious hotel rooms & toilets in europe. downside the breakfast place was quite a walking distance from the room. the access to first floor rooms has no elevator so one has to lift the bags. to the entry reception as well there is no doorman so one lifts the bags & goes to the reception to be told the room has been allotted...

Huge hotel with pool and small gym included. Pool was saltwater, open until 22. There was spa available if you paid extra. Spent one night here in mid September and were generally pleased with the experience. Our room was fantastic (especially the bathroom) and the hotel had all the elements one expects in a spa town (pool, sauna, massage options, wellness treatments etc). We stayed at the hotel during the Biathlon World Cup. Comfortable rooms, balanced and delicious food in the restaurant, the room was cleaned daily. I liked that there is a gym, sauna, swimming pool. After the competition, it was convenient to recover in bad weather. Special thanks to the employee at the reception, Muhammad. A friendly person, helped with any questions. In general, the stay was successful. The staff speaks little English. There was one incident at a children's attraction. The animator couldn't take control. Parents and grandparents took over and as a result my children were made to cry three times. It was sad.

A bit outdated hotel, too expensive in the winter season.

Rooms are clean and food in restaurants is good. Hotel is a little bit older and a carpet in the rooms are not appropriate anymore.

Were there during the Rookie Cup downhill. Accommodation was newly renovated, everything was super new and clean. Parking spaces directly at the hotel. Breakfast buffet was very great. Lots of choice. Can recommend it with a clear conscience.
