Wonderful hotel. Friendly staff

The best views! From the room, the balcony, the restaurant - the mountains are always there. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Plus the room is very nicely done, bed is super comfortable and a nice selection of reasonably priced treats in the room. Will definitely come again.

This time was our second time here and we were more than excited. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is phenomenal. I'm vegan myself and the food was very varied and lovingly prepared. Not a single wish is left unfulfilled here. Room service was also nice as towels or linens were draped. Thank you for an unforgettable vacation.

A very well maintained 4 star hotel, very pleasant staff, the food was also very good and reasonable value for money.

The view was amazing. A misunderstanding was responded to professionally, an alternative was immediately offered and implemented. The room was very clean, new, fresh and the furnishings were of good taste. The bed may seem firm, but you are guaranteed to sleep on clouds! Thank you for the elderflower syrup :-)

We were there 3 weeks ago. I can only say dreamlike. Service absolutely great! The rooms are just beautiful and incredibly clean and the location is simply awesome. The food was just amazing 👌 we were so enthusiastic that we booked again when we left and are really looking forward to being there again the week after next 🤗

It's incredibly beautiful. The rooms are exceptional, modern, comfy, & very well designed. The atmosphere here is superb & quite. Perfect for a vacation in the mountains.

Family driven. Located above the city. Nice views. Direct access to hike trails. Great food. Friendly staff. Cows bells 24/7. Rooms are rebuild recently and provide US business level comfort. Some details do not match the price tag though.

This was our 3rd time staying for a family ski trip. We have never been disappointed. The hotel is tailored to families and offers wonderful amenities including a huge play room. The staff is friendly and competent! Awe will be back!

Stayed for one night in one of their suites. Absolutely stunning hotel, great staff and the food is impressive. Yes it's on the pricey side, but perfect for a couple days of relaxation

Found this place on the internet and booked at the last minute. Glad we did. We did not know any German and the staff couldn't have been nicer to us. They helped us with every need. The room was luxurious, the sauna was great (don't normally get into this very much). Make sure you enjoy the mountains and ride the gondolas when you visit. Also the food is amazing - you wont regret staying here.

Service and hospitality is outstanding. The hotel is located inbetween the mountains, surrounded by nature, it's so peaceful. The hotel has its own sauna, welness, swimming pool and the lake nearby is just outside the hotel. Even the breakfast and dinner is included 🙌 definitely recommending this place if you want comfort and some rest

amazing traditional restaurant with a great view. the house is held in a wooden style, typical for the area. spent a rainy afternoon there, the staff was friendly, extremely attentive and familiar. food is always prepared with care - nothing I've had that didn't deserve a great rating.

Restaurant/cafe decorated extremely tastefully in wood. Views over the mountains very beautiful. A must stop after visiting the Breitachklam. You will not regret it.

The bed was so comfortable and the room had everything we needed. The staff were attentive and very friendly. Everything was lovely and clean. I left a valuable item and we didn’t realise until we were already too far away to turn back. The staff let me know immediately and posted special delivery the same day. Very clean and spacious rooms, with comfortable beds, and large shower. Also very extensive breakfast. And a beautiful sauna in the basement. And not to forget very helpful and freindly staff. They really deserve my 5 stars. Also good and hassle-free Wifi.

Top rooms, top service, top breakfast, very nice and attentive operators. House is only about 150m from the entrance to the cross-country ski trail around Oberstdorf. Ample parking, some in an underground car park. We will be back definitely.

What a fab family run hotel nestled in the mountains of Oberstdorf. Even had a pool that we could use anytim day or night. The staff were sooooo friendly and we sat up at the bar chatting to them after our meal. Which was lovely and great value

Great weekend get away

Room was incredible, service fantastic and friendly. Was lucky to get on of the three best rooms in the whole place. Slight warning to those less mobile, there are a few unavoidable flights of stairs.

Wonderful hotel. No complaints!!!.Top food, top rooms. Wellness area small but nice! The ladies from the beauty farm were very nice and Manuela, who massaged me twice (sports massage), was the best masseuse ever. I only have one thing to complain about...the gentleman at the reception with glasses, very unfriendly!

5 stars. The friendly staff made my 7 year old son feel very comfortable. At the reception we received all the important information. The price/quality ratio is ideal. The pool is absolutely ample, well distributed throughout the day. Thanks for a very nice weekend

We really enjoyed. This is a very beautiful and well maintained facility. It's nice that the spa area is open and you can really recharge.

The hotel is in a quiet location with a beautiful view of Oberstdorf and the surrounding mountains. We were warmly welcomed and everything was explained to us sufficiently (sauna, swimming pool, breakfast, etc.). Modern room and very spacious. There was also balcony that has super view of the mountains. Highlight was the wellness there. Pool and three sauna also Infrarot sauna and fitness room. The hotel is located in Oberstdort, more than 230 km from Stuttgart, my current home town. The room for 160 € is luxury for the sleeping room, the bath room is a bit older but clean and functional. Terrible coffee but a hotel right at tge border with ample history

The location was exceptional right next to the main train station and about 15mins to the Nebelhorn cable car station. The hotel ambience was very relaxing and the staff quite friendly. The spa was spacious and we never felt crowded in spite of the hotel being full. My husband and I had a lovely time and would definitely recommend a stay at this place.

The staff were really great from receptionist to kitchen staff to cleaners. All very polite and attentive. The room was modern, very clean & comfortable. The breakfast was also great.

My partner and I booked this hotel for almost two weeks during the autumn break and we felt very much at home there. We liked everything very much and would definitely recommend this hotel to others. Very nice and clean hotel. The staff is very courteous and helpful. We had a very nice and newly renovated room with a direct view of the Nebelhorn. Breakfast was sufficient and very well organized even under Corona conditions. The city center of Oberstdorf can be reached in 10 minutes on foot. There is a closed room for bicycles including a charging function. We can only recommend the Gerberhof.

Actually good, but 12 days without a working elevator is too long. Old and disabled people gasped and struggled up and down the floors. A drama to have this reputation.

I booked an EZ in the comfort class. The reservation was quick and easy. The front desk was friendly, the room with balcony was very clean and the shower was nice and hot 😁 breakfast and coffee top!

Nice hotel. Quite. Excellent panoramic view in the mountains from the room terrace. Room is small though, but clean. € 61 including breakfast. Internet is rather slow up to 3 Mbit/s. Free parking right in front of the hotel, very convenient. 4 stars overall.

Very typical algauer hotel placed in the earth of oberstdorf, twins bed room are nice and big but single bed room are quite small... breakfast is rich with everything you needed, and all the staff is so kind to help you with all necessary

I and one of my frient had dinner last night! I ate kässpatzle und rostzwiebelbraten! They were amazing und very good

My room is good but the bathroom is too much small, and in 2017 is not possible to don't have power plug near the bed!! Breakfast fast is good with all you need. And the position is perfect you are in the city center.

Very nice hotel with friendly, helpful staff. The breakfast was very tasty with everything you could wish for. The dinner, I can't give that many points, 5 are definitely not enough. Just perfect, it's a shame that our stay was so short. You'd love to come back there.

We stayed in the chalet this place operates, and it exceeded all of our expectations. The view and location were unrivaled, with a quick walk into town very easy to pull off. The staff was helpful and spoke enough English to ensure we had all our questions answered. The accommodations were much fancier than we expected.
