The food was really good! The buffet offers soooo many delicious things, wow! The spa area consists of 4 saunas, but unfortunately only one is really hot. Further, they only do two events per day (at least in the hottest sauna) but they literally just came in, threw the ice in the oven and left without any comments...

Second time here. I love this resort. It’s truly in a beautiful location and has an incredible spa. Dining is a bit expensive but worth it. Take time to hike around the region. Live music in the evenings is a bonus!

Good hotel with nice views, good breakfast and near the village centrum. Kind and service minded staff. Unfortunately I forgot my swim shorts (A pair of CK) in the pool/sauna area. The staff couldn't find it so somebody has stolen them. So beware of pick pockets!

We stayed at the Gerberhof for one night and had a cozy and very clean room in the country house, we immediately felt at home. The whole hotel is very well maintained and family run, there is a small but nice indoor swimming pool. The breakfast is rich, varied and really very good. We didn't miss anything and we can recommend the hotel without reservation, we will definitely come back!

It is advertised as a four star which I would say is correct for the breakfast buffe (fresh honeycomb was a really nice touch!) and spa area but not for the rooms. These are more of three star quality. The locations is in a tiny quiet village two km away from Oberstdorf which you can walk to if you want.

We stayed in the chalet this place operates, and it exceeded all of our expectations. The view and location were unrivaled, with a quick walk into town very easy to pull off.
