Very clean and spacious. The rooms are really wonderfully large. The beds are fine. The breakfast is very well prepared and there is a lot of choice. Please note that parking costs €8 per day. And the dinner buffet is not recommended. There is very little choice, especially for vegetarians. Dessert was an iron plate with a few slices of sausage and cheese and 5 mini pots of fruit mousse.

The hotel is okay. It certainly keeps some of the old times flair which wouldn’t be a problem if the food quality and prices would match.

The room we had (junior suite) was nice and clean and had enough equipment. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The dinner was a big dissapointment. Not many choises and More of a kantine kinda place to sit. The breakfast was just about goed enough. Personal was friendly troughout the stay but has trouble speaking English.

Already on arrival we were greeted very nice and accommodating and treated.
The rooms are very clean and very bright and also large. The bathroom was awesome, big, good Style and very clean.
The Breakfast is rich and tasty. There is something for every taste.
The boss himself has even lend a hand, so all the attention.
I am totally impressed by this Hotel.

Our stay at the Ullr was really nice. The Service and the staff were very accommodating, the rooms were large and well equipped, wifi was included and the food in the half Board was quite good and varied. Also, the beautiful evening salutations with the most delicious mulled wine, lard sandwiches and fire basket. Just Right if you are coming straight from the runway. There is a point deduction for the very soft beds. We liked it all in all, but very good!

We have booked before we read the reviews. However, reassured us, the most negative reviews had a certain "bitch potential," and other simple information on the travel time were missing. So, for example, is Yes. outside of the season, a Buffet, a bit scarcer than for the main season.
We were now in the middle of the February, there was no reason to complain. The room was as promised and was in a very clean condition without damage or "dilapidated" facility. The Buffet was varied and not too tight or too easy. Only at Breakfast there should be daily stirring and Kochei, here in the Ullr is changed daily.
The staff was very friendly especially the head waiter (or was it the Chef de Rang?) knew here to deliver true Entertainment. Smaller services such as bus transfer to the ski slopes are also feasible, and so the overall experience was quite pleasant and recommended.

Large rooms with balcony and a large bathroom. Everything was very clean. Beautiful views to the Fichtel mountain. Dinner buffets for 18,-€ per Person bookable. Actually eat good, but not outstanding. To the centre is approx 800m. Up to the cable car about 1000m.

Rip-off - it can't get Worse.
Insinuations and rip-off are the order of the day.
During our stay at the Hotel, we had to find our extra bed, we had agreed in advance was not provided. Also on the phone agreed room price was not met. On the contrary, for the extra bed we should even have to pay the full room price. The hotel Manager Jörg Seidel said: "He was the Director here and he'll do the prices. Oral ancillary agreements shall not apply.“ Also the Booking to half-Board for 18,-€/day, was we had asked the day before the arrival date by phone to all of a sudden. We should now have to pay 77€ for the evening program. ...Rip-off. We decided against, of course. The room which we got was in the middle of the evening buffet, so that we had to Enter or Leave the room, always at the Buffet over. But it got even worse... Now the Director Jörg Seidel came back to us and claimed we had served us at the Buffet and we should now would be the 77,-€ for the evening program with numbers otherwise he us for a dine and dash to the police. Of course we had not touched the Buffet, we only had to refer several times to the Buffet to our room. For a double room for a night was now presented with a bill for 600, -€. The thing I handed over to my lawyer. ...It doesnít get any worse.

Too bad for the Hotel because the location, condition and cleanliness are fine. The food offered, and especially for their presentation on the Buffet are below average - canteens Flair.
No variety, hardly any fruit, and very carelessly presented.
