The rooms, staff, and sauna were great. Breakfast and dinner, however, were mediocre.

Good hotel and good location, poor restaurant. The hotel reception was very good and professional. The restaurant was poor. The breakfast table was not cleared or set. The buffet displays were not fresh. No fresh salad, tomatoes were whole. The evening buffet was not well prepared and presented. Dessert was cheap and unimaginative. The few service staff were overwhelmed but still friendly.

Long uphill walj from station & no air conditioning.

We spent a weekend at the Best Western Ahorn Hotel. We booked a deluxe room with half board. The location at the foot of the Fichtelberg, just two minutes' walk from the valley station of both the lift and the cable car, has both advantages and disadvantages. In general, however, the structure of such small tourist-oriented places is not fragmented. So you are in the immediate vicinity of some winter...

Nice place for kids. Mamazina has amazing food.

Great resort with a lot of fun and activities for kids. Aparments are large, clean and fully equipped. Staff at reception don't speak english at all only german. Note the one day entrance to pool is starting first day after check in. What means 15PM till 22PM only. Next day is 22 EUR adult/15 kids.This information is missing everywhere and makes disappointed

Nice place to stay for some hours... even if the pricing model is a bit old fashioned and not guest friendly at all. Anyways, a good place to slant some relaxing hours ;)

Nice resort quite close to slopes. The Spa is really gorgeous, while the apartments are a bit old-fashioned. It was a bit tricky to go to the apartment from the reception. There is no lift in the apartment building so prepare yourself if you have heavy luggage. In addition to park your car you need to fight a bit if you want to keep it close to your building. I can't understand the critics. We had a great 3 days in Elldus. I had given my Kidnern and grandchildren for Christmas a stay. And we were all thrilled. Very large rooms (former new apartments), ideal for families (large Playground, childcare, etc.), and both Breakfast, as well as in the evening, a super selection of very high quality and many homemade dishes. The location is convenient for excursions and hikes located, but nevertheless very quiet. We were already 2 times here, and would not hesitate to book here again.

Fichtelberghaus kann man gut Essen und die Unterkünfte sind auch gut.

Schönes geräumiges Ferienhaus mit 5 Schlafzimmern, voll ausgestattete Küche und geräumiges Gemeinschaftszimmer.

Unfortunately, I only get a short impression, therefore, I can evaluate only a part of it. It was a short trip on the Fichtelberg. From the terrace of the hotel have a very nice view on the Umgebungm there we have a chocolate Cappuccino brought and tasted good. Unfortunately, you had not made the effort to came to the cocoa powder mix to which however, larger lump on one.

one of the most delicious rump steaks...this is a special reason, & to come to the Fichtelberg :)

The parking is guarded, which is very important.

We had a three roomed suite. The room was above my expectation with plenty of space for two motorcyclists and all their touring gear. Enough that 2 motorcyclists had room to move around and hang wet gear out of the way. The beds were comfy though I do think quite a few hotels in Europe, including this one, struggle with the concept of two separate beds as opposed to two separated beds for two unrelated...

Amazing hotel nested in a lost little town. Food is very good, service and cleanliness paramount and simplicity is the main ornament!

I was here on business trip and I have to say lunch was phenomenal especially deserts!, as for rooms they are very simple, nothing fancy, clean and quite. My one problem was the wifi which kept disconnecting and the mobile network also switches back and forth to Czech networks, so overall internet was kind of a hustle for me.

Friendly staff and they speak good english, they answered all my question with 200% patience. Very child friendly place, spacious dining area can accommodate group dining. Clean room, even though it is winter, the room is warm.

Great location...friendly staff...a brilliant view in the Restaurant and from the room. The swimming pool is in a nice environment and a great place to relax. Parking directly in front of the door. Food is tasty and fresh. Super Stay

We spent a week on vacation in Oberwiesenthal. The idea of ​​the all-inclusive package is great, we were already looking forward to it. We stayed in the Miriquidi (double room with an extra bed for our daughter). The staff in the main hotel was very friendly (very few spoke German). It was very rare to see staff at Miriquidi. For all meals (except breakfast) we had to go to the Rathaushotel, 200m away...

Hotel is great. 5 min from Ski Lift. Food was very good, parking nearby the hotel. Room was very clean and comfortable. We will be back, once we visit Oberwiesenthal again :-)

We were very satisfied. The price-quality ratio is excellent! Spacious rooms, good food in the morning, midday, afternoon and evening, as well as high-quality drinks in the bar. The staff is also very friendly and motivated. We will gladly return!

Really nice hotel. Located near a lot of tourist attractions. Internet was quite good. The breakfast and the dinner were even better! Nice place to stay for a few days!

Very friendly staff, incredible Schnitzel.

We arrived late and the kitchen was closed but yet they offered to make a schnitzel with braten kartoffln for us which we highly appreciated after 10-12 hours of driving. Breakfast was also very fine with good selection - only missed water without gas

Off-season visit with Family. Very Kid-friendly. Enjoyed and felt very comfortable during our stay! We did miss anything.

Location is great, in front of ski lifts. Accommodations are not up to par of prices charged, bathroom tub extremely slippery and dangerous, limited toiletries are given (one small soap for a room with 4 people?).

Great service, location and price. The hotel is directly close to the ski lifts and at walking distance from all the major services / attractions of the city. The staff is very friendly and the facilities very easy to use. The room was also very spacious and nicely decorated. Only minus: for us the mattresses were very hard, but otherwise highly recommended!

Have not stayed at the hotel but love the bar at the lobby! Very nice personnel, simple menu but great tasting food. We always have drinks/food here every time we come to ski in Oberwiesenthal. Personnel speaks too many languages to count :)

Small, quiet hotel with a great breakfast. Only the bathroom is very small. But it is due to the architecture. The catering in the Rathaushotel is always great. The surcharge for dogs is quite high at 15 euros per night. It was definitely not the last stay. The staff is super friendly.

This hotel came as quite a surprise! I booked on line and it said it was 0.3 m form the centre. I foolishly walked and it must have been 2 miles [uphill]. The hotel itself is huge with 7 floors. Conferences and coach tours I suspect. The dining room had a buffet dinner going on but - as not part of a tour - I was not allowed in. Had a reasonable meal in the bar area with much reasonable wine...

Great place to ski and enjoy nature, the hotel is well equipped and has a long history of satisfied costumers.

Excellent ...but only if you speak German. Very few staff speak English which is a bummer as the place has so much to offer. From family activities to the stunning view, there's plenty to do inside or outside regardless of the weather!

Mrs. Teuber and the staff are very nice and the pension is well located. One star deduction, since individual apartments would have to be brought up to scratch again. Otherwise I can recommend the pension.

This is how I imagine an accommodation in the Ore Mountains. Modern and rustic at the same time. Everything clean and nicely prepared. Super breakfast buffet and all that at a great price! The next vacation in the area, definitely again in this pension.

We spent our 2022 winter vacation in two holiday rooms on the top floor of Pension Teuber. The rooms were clean and functional for our needs. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were small but adequately equipped with a shower. There was also no lack of warmth and the ski things were dry the next morning. Flat screen TV with a wide range of TV channels and with the house WLAN there were no reception...

We spent a wonderful week here. The rooms are nicely furnished and the rich and very good breakfast buffet is a perfect start to the day. We would love to come back and would be happy to recommend the guesthouse. Thanks for the nice time.
