I am a difficult guest, I dont eat meat for example; but they did everything they could to prepare some dishes! Settings are nice, the rooms are splendid and well talen care off, and the staff is super friendly and helpful!

We had a very nice stay at the Park Hotel in Olslsberg. If you like to watch tv you need to Bring your own Google Chromecast then It is like a Five Star Hotel.

Time there is stopping 10 years ago. But all was oke, nice service, breakfast. Easy hotel for undemanding people.

Very nice rooms with wireless chargers and different lighting options, smart TV, pretty view, quiet town. Small glasses in room and breakfast, and the sink in my bathroom was not rectangular as shown in photos.

The food is fantastic and the rooms are nice nd comfy.

We were there as a group of 13 people just to eat in the evening. The food was very good and tasty. Despite different dishes, everyone got their food almost at the same time. The service, including the owner, was particularly friendly.

Like a year ago, we stayed at the Hotel Schettel during our visit with friends. We felt comfortable, everything was very clean. The breakfast, in a nice atmosphere, was very rich and tasty. We can recommend the hotel!

Always a pleasure - I haven't eaten there in far too long. In keeping with the season, today we had goose breast with red cabbage and dumplings. Like grandma - and that's a big compliment. Served with an orange-pepper sauce. Everything tasted perfectly. My wife had sauerbraten - also a hit. The staff is committed and on their toes. You always feel like you're coming home...

Our stay was wonderful! The people of the hotel were so friendly and helpful, the food, the room, the bath, the wellness facilities, the surroundings (great area to take walks). It all could not be better. We had a superrelaxed weekend and will definately come back.

This place is freaking awesome. Really nice room, great breakfast and an amazingly zen sauna/relax/spa area that you can just get in for free in the late evening. I had sauna room all to myself and took a cold dip in this beautiful small pond-like pool. I don’t speak a word of German but the staff seemed really nice. Everything was clean and modern and quiet, would go again.

The wellness is great and very relaxing. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast and dinner exceeded my expectations. Very special, especially if you like meat as you can slice it yourselves..

This was a great location. They have two buildings and maybe more with rooms. We were in the apartments in the back building. There was plenty of space and it was very comfortable. I can imagine the summer months this is a fantastic location with several pools and spa facilities as well . The dining was fantastic with assigned tables for the guests. The food was very good

Beautiful rustic rooms made to match the local scenery. Owners are very involved in greeting guests and explaining the town and local sights. I am looking forward to my next visit!

Nice hotel price / quality, friendly stuff and nice breakfast and spa. Only negative point, no chargers for e-cars and boiler in the room.

Overall good, but with some quirks like a radiator in the bathroom that can’t be switched off in summer (ok, it’s September, but still above 20 degrees) and a really mysterious note in a cupboard drawer (see pic). But the breakfast! Oh, my, absolutely lovely!

We stayed in this hotel 4 nights. We liked the breakfast and the dinner, the peaceful surroundings, the small nice park, the childrens playground and the very friendly staff. We didn't like the nearly unusable WiFi in our room. Only in the reception it could be used for light surfing, and things were not good with 4G either due to its remote location. In addition, we didn't find even a water boiler...

Very good Hotel. I advise everyone to have a good vacation. It has a beautiful park behind the hotel for both children and adults to be able to walk or even to do sports. A good pool as well as a sauna. Both for good relaxation. The employees and the manager are always available to help customers and always well smiling. I loved it.

Very nice hotel in city center. Nice service in solid german style. Beds are comfortable, restaurant is very nice with inside and outside area. However its closed on Sunday's and Monday's. Food ok. Breakfast with open food desk. Nice Rumpsteak with mushrooms and bacon beans.

Full points! Nice personel. Our room wasn't the most modern, but still perfectly ok and clean. In the conservatory, drinks and small snacks were available for self-service. In the morning we realized that we should have booked breakfast separately. It was improvised. We still got a great breakfast with everything that goes with it. And all of that at a more than fair price. To recommend!!!

The location is very nice, from the balcony you can enjoy a wonderful view! There is a golf course directly opposite the hotel. Room and bathroom are clean. The handling of the shower was a bit difficult, a renewal would perhaps make sense here. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, we would have liked a little more choice here.

Have been a guest at this hotel several times. Breakfast very rich. Rooms are not the most modern but satisfactory for a long weekend. The cleaning of the rooms needs improvement. Otherwise we are satisfied and took advantage of the HP offer for the first time. Highly recommended! Quietly located. The disadvantage is far from the beaten track, but there are taxis for the way back. ;))

Quiet hotel a stone's throw from the greenery, you can start going on some picnics right from the hotel. Otherwise Willingen is a couple of minutes away by car. Good breakfast, clean and spacious rooms

A bit remote from the bars in Willingen. We called a taxi because we were simply too comfortable to walk. But it is quiet at night, there is a pool and sauna. Rooms are clean, safe, TV and balcony available. Breakfast delicious.

Great hotel. It is about 2.4 km from town (10 euros) by taxi or on foot. We have never had such a quiet hotel, although there were also groups there. The rooms were very clean with a balcony (privacy is absolutely given with a view of nature) The breakfast was very rich and tasty. Das Frühstück ist sehr vielfältig und die Auswahl an Kaffee ist hervorragend . Wer gut zu Fuß ist kann laufen, da sich der Weg ziemlich in die Länge zieht.. Ansonsten rein ins Taxi. Die Dame an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich!!!

Very good food. Reception was very nice. Friendly staff. 1 point deduction because we had to get out of the sauna on the third evening at 8.40 p.m. because the lady wanted to call it a day. Even the boss comes by personally and asks about your well-being. All in all a good hotel. thanks

Rooms were a bit older but clean! Staff was very nice! The food portions were a bit small after hiking. I was rebooked here from the Waldhaus am See, which was a big detour on the hike on the Rothaarsteig. Who does not hike a recommendation!

Very clean rooms. Attention is paid to hygiene. Friendly staff and very good food. There are enough sun loungers by the pool. Sauna and indoor swimming pool restricted to people. Rooms 1 and 2 exposed to noise from slamming doors that lead to the sunbathing area. Very uncomfortable. Just 10 minutes outside of a ski area (Neuastenberg) - family friendly, super service and fabulous staff! Pool and sauna were lovely as was the breakfast buffet.

We were in Willingen, quite spontaneously, for a short trip of just one night and only booked the hotel room the day before our arrival. The code for contactless check-in arrived via email in good time before 3 p.m. The location was great, very central and still quiet. Well-located small hotel in the middle of Willingen. Breakfast sufficient and tasty. Rooms need a bit of renovation here and there, but comfortable. Contact the host by email or telephone, which I didn't find so nice when I arrived. I would have been happy about a personal reception, but that's my opinion. I would love to give 5 stars but it’s the little details missed that really leave me unable to do so. I have never encountered a 4 star hotel which doesn’t contain a single iron to freshen up your clothes. No laundry services available on site unless you want to practically double the price of your stay for laundry service. But on to the good. Modern well equipped rooms in the center of town

Sehr nette Besitzer und zuvorkommende Angestellte. Das Hotel ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Beim Frühstück ist alles da, was man braucht. Wir konnten auch später anreisen, als wie üblich, und es wurde uns auch noch spontan ein Tisch im Restaurant reserviert. Pool und Sauna waren ebenfalls sehr gepflegt und sauber. Wir werden definitiv wieder buchen.

Great Schnitzel, friendly staff, das drinks could have been colder

Wij hadden een apartment achter de hoofdaccommodatie. Die was schoon en ruim. Wij waren met zijn zessen en er was plek genoeg. Er is een ruim opgezette woonkamer en twee ruime slaapkamers. In de woonkamer was ook een slaapbank die prima ligt.

The hotel situated next to the forest, beautiful area with a nice view. The wellness and the massage is perfect, we definitely go back in another season. The staff is really kind, the breakfast is one of the best we had in Germany. They accept dogs!

The country house changed hands in autumn 2021. We stayed here in August 2022 and it was AMAZING. The accommodation makes a renovated, fresh, clean and modern impression. The contact with the landlady is super relaxed and uncomplicated. I would particularly like to highlight the rich and lovingly prepared breakfast. To name just a part of the buffet: there are fresh rolls, black bread, common sweet...

We were recently on site. Cozy accommodation, great service and very dear owner, which was available before arrival with advice and deed. Finally, the very balanced breakfast is still highlighted in the fireplace room. Highly recommended to escape everyday life. Top and gladly again!

I don't understand what various people write here. Absolutely contemporary, neat and clean guesthouse for a small price. Breakfast was also great. The host was extremely personable, friendly, uncomplicated. After the reviews here, I was a bit skeptical at first, but that has completely vanished into thin air. I would love to come back, also with the whole family. Have nothing to complain about.
