Great inside secure bicycle storage . Pleasant reception . Our room #31 was spacious and very clean . Great panoramic view of city from 3 large windows . WiFi great . Bathroom very clean with good shower water pressure . Comfortable bed . On site restaurant is very pleasant with great ambiance . Several options for dinner all at reasonable price point . Breakfast was really good with numerous hot and cold food options .

Gutes Frühstück, sehr großes Zimmer in der Superior Kategorie (und großes Bad), bequeme Betten und ein sehr gutes Restaurant im Haus.
Besonders machen den Aufenthalt jedoch die beiden Mitarbeiterinnen. Sie sind beide unglaublich aufmerksam, hilfsbereit, unermüdlich, freundlich und kompetent. Solch eine Aufmerksamkeit zum Detail ist wirklich überragend und sehr selten. Sie ergänzen beispielsweise den Frühstückstisch um kleine Details, die man am Vortrag erfragt hatte (z.B. ein Milchkännchen für laktosefreie Milch) und stellen sicher, dass auch die kleinsten Gäste einen schönen Platz am Tisch haben.

Just completed a trip to Brilon and Haus Rech in Germany. Was there to visit my family. The accommodations were truly PHANTASTIC. A did not expect such a warm welcome. At first, I stayed, in a corner room overlooking the old city gate and my ancestors' home, less than 110 yards away (I spent there much of my childhood. I believe I got this room out of courtesy (pleasing the arrival from the US). I requested a different room, as I am super-light sleeper. I was given probably the best room in the hotel. They made me feel welcomed like a king. I had several "small', personal favors to ask. All of them were granted, and not once, did I get the feeling I was a bother or asked too much. The rooms were impeccable, the room service awesome. The breakfast buffet was something else and Ms. Pohl, who served it most of the time, ... were just hard to describe (see pictures). The buffet was plentiful, a very tasty assortment of all sorts of delicious German breakfast items. The service rendered by Ms. Poh and even the owners, Mr. and Ms. Gartner, - just made me feel at home. It was an epic journey, as I had come back "home" to say my Goodbyes to several family members of 90 years old. Though a sweet-sour trip, the stay at the Haus Rech was my home base. Great food, most wonderful accommodations and mostly the feeling of being welcomed. Sam N.

Lovely, posh hotel with great friendly service and delicious restaurant, all at a fairly reasonable price!

Most of the staff were warm and welcoming. The room was a bit outdated and the pillows need to be replaced, but it was well cleaned. Breakfast was ok, dinner was very good!

Me and my wife with 3 year old, stayed there overnight, stay was super comfort and breakfast was quite good too.

Very nice hotel in city center. Nice service in solid german style. Beds are comfortable, restaurant is very nice with inside and outside area. However its closed on Sunday's and Monday's. Food ok. Breakfast with open food desk. Nice Rumpsteak with mushrooms and bacon beans.
