Good size room. Helpful staff. I like the bathroom which has a separate toilet. Only wished they served Asian food as options. Their German food was bland and salty.

I would love to give 5 stars but it’s the little details missed that really leave me unable to do so. I have never encountered a 4 star hotel which doesn’t contain a single iron to freshen up your clothes. No laundry services available on site unless you want to practically double the price of your stay for laundry service. But on to the good. Everything was sorted and they understood my family situation. We did not get the chance to go when planned, but we will definitely consider it for the future.

Very good food. Reception was very nice. Friendly staff. 1 point deduction because we had to get out of the sauna on the third evening at 8.40 p.m. because the lady wanted to call it a day. Even the boss comes by personally and asks about your well-being. All in all a good hotel. thanks

Rooms were a bit older but clean! Staff was very nice! The food portions were a bit small after hiking. I was rebooked here from the Waldhaus am See, which was a big detour on the hike on the Rothaarsteig. Who does not hike a recommendation!

The hotel situated next to the forest, beautiful area with a nice view. The wellness and the massage is perfect, we definitely go back in another season. The staff is really kind, the breakfast is one of the best we had in Germany. They accept dogs!

The hotel is located on a great location, rooms are clean and spacious. We had a reservation for eight days. On the fourth day we had to depart early for a family emergency and the hotel charges us for the remaining stay at 90% according to their terms of sale. A bit remote from the bars in Willingen. We called a taxi because we were simply too comfortable to walk. But it is quiet at night, there is a pool and sauna. Rooms are clean, safe, TV and balcony available. Breakfast delicious.

Great hotel. It is about 2.4 km from town (10 euros) by taxi or on foot. We have never had such a quiet hotel, although there were also groups there. Nice hotel in Willingen close to everything you need on business trips as well as for vacation. Perfect buffet breakfast with everything you would like to have. Close brewery is also fine. One cons is that rooms are are not so modern, sometimes with the minor defects. But still with everything you need when you have to work, including teakettle. Review written after 10+ stays there.

Nice and clean hotel with very friendly staff. Rooms are of good size and cleaned daily. Sauna and swimming pool are a good addition that can make your stay more pleasant, too bad they close at 22:00. Choice of food during breakfast is good and of good quality. Overall a very good hotel where I will gladly go back to!

Very cute hotel a bit outside from Willingen City Center. The rooms are clean just a bit oldschool.the have a small wellness area with sauna and whirlpool. Breakfast is very good. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

We loved our stay. The appartment was very modern, very clean and very spacious, with all the amenities in the kitchen and children friendly. The rooms in Hotel Hochheide have a Nice view, plus the center of the city is nearby. Also the public transport is very accesible. The swimming pool is at walking distance. Overall its a Nice hotel.

But although Usseln itself is quite small, it has several restaurants in walking distance. The fridge in our room was incredibly loud and barely cooked down.

Great location (by car), walking distance to low key slopes. Service can be improved, everything is quite confusing and unclear, dinner was sold out by 5pm. Breakfast is ok, beds are too hard but overall the family room is roomy and comfortable.

Hotel is a bit dated but still fine. Room was clean, swimming pool and sauna unfortunately not very clean. One side the rooms have a really nice view, unfortunately the ground floor had the parking in front of their window. Plenty parking, no EV charging available at hotel.

Sehr nette Besitzer und zuvorkommende Angestellte. Das Hotel ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Beim Frühstück ist alles da, was man braucht. Wir konnten auch später anreisen, als wie üblich, und es wurde uns auch noch spontan ein Tisch im Restaurant reserviert. Pool und Sauna waren ebenfalls sehr gepflegt und sauber. We were in the hotel from 02.01.24 bus 06.01.24. We had half board. The operators are great and great people. Every wish will be fulfilled if possible. I spent a weekend with family. Very nice hotel in a good location next to the town centre. The slopes are easily reachable in a few minutes by car. The owner is very kind and also available for suggestions on how to get around. Fantastic hotel! We stayed in the 6-person apartment, which is across the street from the hotel, located on a stream. It is nice and warm, cozy and very comfortable. (nice sofas) You won't be bothered by traffic, because all windows insulate well. The welcome is very warm and friendly, exactly what you want when you arrive from a trip. We selected the hotel because of location and our pleasant stay 2 years ago. The hotel has spacious parking. Our room had a spacious terrace with furniture, nice seating area and well equipped, practical bathroom. Breakfast is absolutely excellent and staff is efficient and friendly. We will be back.

We liked the hotel. The food was great, the staff were great. Unfortunately, the place itself doesn't have that much anymore. But the area there is really still beautiful. The only point of criticism is the perfumed smell in the hallway to the rooms.

Good service. But very unpleasant that you pay EUR 70 per adult for their New Years Evening Buffet. And all drinks are excluded and cost Double the price than what it would normally cost in any German restaurant. The drinks (and water!) were even more expensive than in the center of Amsterdam in a club on a Saturday night. Not correct if you have already paid EUR 140 as a couple for an average buffet...

The apartment was beautifully designed and arranged, very comfortable and well equipped, rooms were large and we very much appreciated a proper "boxed" double bed in the living room, my son felt like a king :) It was spotlessly clean.
