the location was a bit tricky to reach but the view from the hotel is stunning and beautiful. The rooms are normal for a three star hotel. The staff is lovely and nice, also the restaurant in the hotel has delicious food from the region

Great views. Restaurant has an awesome terrace to have your meals surrounded by the valley mountains. Clean rooms, comfy bed. There is a water creek nearby with a mini waterfall. Staff was very friendly.

The owner to the rest of employees are very very nice and welcoming. The family unit suite is great with all needed accessories and the price is great , very cost effective - the location in third north part of the black-forest is very convenient - Recommend it dearly.

We had a nice and large apartment. The Ehrenmättlehof is located above the street and is quiet. Beautiful hikes in this wonderful area are possible directly behind the house. We would like to highlight the friendly and cordial staff. We felt very comfortable and can only recommend the Ehrenmättlehof.

Somewhat older hotel with a great view of the valley. staff very friendly. Could do with a major refurbishment, with some paint and new wood this could be a big upgrade. Wellness area small but pleasant. Breakfast completely sufficient. Town center within walking distance, as well as various hiking trails.

Great starting point for hikes on beautiful premium hiking trails directly from the hotel. Use of the sauna and indoor pool is uncomplicated after consultation. Living like 40 years ago, old but clean! Relaxed interaction between staff and guests, low prices! Gladly again, with a great view of the village.

Great for an overnight stay, but don't expect too much from the indoor pool. You have to register in advance for the sauna to be heated up and it costs extra. Rooms are large, clean and have a beautiful view. Unfortunately there is only breakfast (additional cost) They were all very friendly 👍🏻

Very beautiful scenery, amazing atmosphere. It’s very quiet during the night. Rooms were big and comfortable. However, the windows and balcony did not haveThe iron fence for the bugs ( dunno what’s it called) so we had A bit of an incident with bugs.

We spent a wonderful and relaxing weekend in Bad Peterstal-Griesbach. The accommodation is located in the middle of the small town on a slope and the view over the village is really worth seeing. The room with double bed that we moved into was newly renovated and very nicely furnished. This is exactly the right address for a stay in the Black Forest.

Great stay at Steepleview House. I had the small apartment and clean, well equipped, and bigger than I expected. The Geilers were very welcoming and helped arrange everything, including helping me figure out trains that were canceled and changed. The hotel stay was very pleasant. Has it is located in a quiet and secluded area with a small stream. The rooms are comfortably furnished. Tv dvd player kettle coffee machine. I received a friendly welcome from the boss and every one of my wishes was fulfilled. A big compliment to the management.

We were here on New Year's Eve. The reception was very nice and our room was shown to us and everything explained. The Hotel Chef fits into the world and tries very hard to make your stay a pleasant one. We would be happy to come back to the clean hotel with great breakfast. Keep up the good work! Great !

A nice little hotel in vintage style. The rooms have everything you need. Some with balcony. The owner has recently taken over the hotel and is very concerned about his guests and tries to fulfill every wish. There is a small elevator so that people with disabilities can reach the upper floors. The breakfast buffet is well stocked and sufficient. Eggs are fresh, so they are still hot at the table....

This has been the best experience we had! Finally a hotel, manager and staff that takes 100% care of their guests, especially of those with special needs. Our son has to follow a strict diet both on timing of meals and ingredients. Everything has been put to work to serve him correct... Stayed on New Year's Eve. Room was great. Breakfast great. Sauna and swimming pool very nice and well-kept. Parking in front of the door. Recommended at any time. Drinks are also available for purchase. I liked it so much that I want to go back. In May if it works.

I am not a biker and this place is fantastic for bikers, but don't let that put you off if you are a non biker as we're talking responsible bikers. Food is good, drinks are reasonably priced and in my short visit the staff were friendly and toilets spotless.

We ate at the Kaminstube. The service was excellent. The price for a menu like that is really good. The food was great, we enjoyed every course. It was more than enough. The interior is noble but cozy. We will definitely come back.

Incredibly clean apartment. Everything is there, the kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven and microwave and all the necessary kitchen utensils. The farm is on top of the mountain. Very quiet, surrounded by nature. We had 4 days of continuous rain, but that didn't bother us. Rain gear on and out with the dogs. You can take them with you 👍👍👍. A somewhat steep staircase leads up to the two holiday apartments...
