The boss and the whole team are nice and no matter what, you can always ask questions and get a polite answer. The breakfast was great, and extra requests were met with a wink.

Hotel itself is very good. We had a room with balcony, a lot of space and great view. Enough space for parking, dogs are allowed. Very friendly staff and perfect breakfast. Good location for hiking or visiting other cities by car or by train. We also had a dinner there, käseplate was quite good. Steak was also very tasty even my friend complained it was not real "medium".

Had lunch here on the last Friday of January. We arrived quiet late but were welcomed. Service abut chaotic. The restaurant is recently modernised and one can imagine they want to be different than the traditional German restaurants. Quality of the food is good as one would expect for the prices the ask. We passed this Hotel on our way home back to Belgium and had dinner here. The staff is very friendly and helped us out really good. The food was amazing and prices are very good compared to other cities! The Hotel has a very rustical look but it fits the atmosphere. Thanks for having us.

Very attentive service and yummy food. Seasonal special was excellent - amazing steak, mouth watering asparagus paired with savory salad. On the bad side their special burger underlines desire to cut corners. With outstanding formula of ingredients and height close to quarter of a meter they had to utterly overcook the meat. Was it of so low quality (€18) that it needed to be done, or chef lacks complete...

Very nice place to have dinner. The food was excellent (I had the rinderrollatt) and the weissbier was as expected. The waiter (a man who looks like Timothy Dalton) was extremely nice despite my struggles with the German language. Unfortunately they were out of desserts so I might have to come back some time.

Very small and cosy Hotel reception and restaurant is really great. The rooms are clean and well maintained only the equipment you had in need of Revision. In case of problems, is trying to help, and the guest is taken care of as far as possible completely . Very children friendly and has good access to the Region.

What can I say I was staying in a Castle. It’s got beautiful scenery, the breakfast buffet was delicious, customer service was amazing and the pricing was very reasonable. I will definitely be coming back.

Amazing, a very nice place to be in Black Forest. The view from the terrace looking to the valley is also beautiful. They produce their own hard liquor!!!! I took some for us to try at home. The food is tasty, fresh, and stuff are very attentive. Looking back to visit again. Thank you!

The Hotel Holzwurm is an absolute recommendation! the house is nicely located a little bit up the hill in Sasbachwalden, a cute village in the northern black forest. Restaurants are in walking distance and excellent quality . The rooms, breakfast, service and kindness of the personnel and the owners is exemplary. Eugen and all other hotel members made us feel welcomed and their service was outstanding. We arrived really late at night and they made sure we find our way around. The Apartment was equipped with everything we needed for our vacation, has a great view and its location is great. We highly recommend it!

We stayed at this hotel for few days. The place looks so traditional and feels great to be here. The town is perfect and the hiking tail is just fabulous!!!!!

Very cozy Baden restaurant. The sensationally well-kept garden invites you to linger. Very nice and well-trained service staff. The food is excellent and of good quality. Table reservation is recommended.

We went there for lunch with 30 people (wedding). Everything worked smoothly. The food was good. Especially the meat. The Cordon-Bleu was delicious, and freshly made. The dessert was a nice selection of sorbet, cake, fruit and parfait. Only downside was the pumpkin soup, where the flavor of the standard curry powder was a little do dominant and didn't really fit the rest.

From the first contact when booking to the very friendly greeting upon arrival. At breakfast nothing was left to be desired. There were even gluten free rolls and cakes for our daughter. The apartments are very nicely and comfortably furnished. We felt very comfortable and thank you for the hospitality.

We spent two nights in the small, cozy and really lovingly furnished hotel - it was great. The location is central, yet very quiet. The only thing you hear at night when you open the window is the soothing sound of the river right next door. We received a very warm welcome and our apartment had everything you could need. Great hotel and a very family atmosphere. The rooms are very well maintained and very tastefully decorated. The breakfast is also particularly appetizing. The innkeeper and staff do everything to make you feel comfortable from the start.

Serene view from the hotel room's window. Very helpful staff, excellent restaurant that offers a truly spectacular selection of wines. The room is not well equipped with charging stations and hence not really the room for business travellers, otherwise it's a fine blend of modern furnishing and 19th century vibe.

Great accommodation in Sasbachwalden! The hotel got recently remodeled, so that rooms and furniture are all new, modern and of high quality. In addition, the breakfast was delicious.

The Chef menu was good, waitresses were nice Unfortunately, we had to wait quite a long time because there was a Wedding in the other room of the restaurant.

What a Christmas menu with 4 courses plus some additional gratitudes. Food and service are excellent. Prices are on the higher side but definitely worth it. You will find typical dishes of the region in a perfected presentation. The interior of the restaurant is decorated somewhere in between a traditional and a modern restaurant of this region. A warm welcome from the hosts in a very quiet house with no through traffic. The double room with plenty of space and seating, a separate wardrobe per person. Our 2.5 room maisonette apartment consisted of an open living room - kitchen - dining area and an also open bedroom on the gallery. It is positive that there is a bathroom both in the upper and in the lower area. The size of the apartment is also very good, the cleanliness is also okay. The location is beautiful, right on the outskirts in the vineyards and quick access to the hiking trails or bike...

Very nice hotel, you feel very well looked after and all your wishes are met. Breakfast was delicious. You would often be asked if you needed something. I left my jacket at the hotel when I left. Were informed about it on cell phone. We could turn around quickly to get them. Top!!!
