Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Food was okay too. The local beer was in old style, not exactly my taste, but also not bad. Just a bit watery because I’ve gotten used to modern craft beer.

Nice Location Drinks wehre fine

The hotel is small but nice. A buffet in the morning is certainly better than ready-made plates at the table, but we were full and had some choice. And the breakfast service makes everything a little more pleasant with their very nice and funny manner. The area is very quiet and the beach is less than a two-minute walk away. We would come again 🙂

Small but fine hotel near the beach. Restaurant with a selection of hot and cold dishes to take away directly in the hotel. The beach is 10 meters away behind the dunes. It is possible to rent a beach chair on a daily basis at very favorable conditions (also for non-hotel guests). Hotel Eldena is located just outside of Göhren, but has direct access to the beach. Otherwise you have to be good on foot or by bike to go to another inn etc. to eat. Unfortunately the hotel does not have an elevator. The staff is very friendly and takes care of the guests. The restaurant only has a small menu but the food is very good. Nice hotel. We had 1/2 pension being a rich and varied breakfast and a nice well made buffet for dinner. Nice situated with 15 minutes to the beach and 2 minuts to shopping street. Extremely nice smiling staff ready. Only mishab was a minor breakdown of an ekstra bed in the room 🙈😊

The hotel looks great from the outside, but not to my taste on the inside. The mattresses were much too soft for us (but we didn't say anything because we were only there for 3 days). Breakfast and dinner were plentiful and good. At breakfast there was butter that had expired, I told them about it and it was replaced immediately. The surroundings are great, you can get to the north and south beaches...

The service was very good, the breakfast and the food from their restaurants is very delicious. The room was a bit old-school but it was very clean and nice. I did satisfied with the services during my stay in this hotel, might come back again.

Nice apartments and bungalows are available in front of a scenic little port. Spa/wellness is very clean, it is a great place to wind down a little bit.

Located at the beautiful Southern tip of Rügen. Spacious apartments. Very clean and modern. Great lounge area that does serve food and drink (limited menu). There’s a handy tiny store that has the necessities for preparing some meals in the apartment.

Furniture in the apartment is a bit old, but functional and clean. Suggestion on my part: : - it would be very useful to attach felt to the chairs so that they can be moved noiselessly -a potato peeler would be great in the kitchen -a scraper for the shower...

Very friendly staff, perfect organization and functioning bread service. Clean rooms and well-kept grounds in a very good, quiet location. Sufficient parking spaces directly at the facility and good waste separation options. Sauna, playroom and fitness room available. We have felt very comfortable here.

Super nice holiday with a great apartment. Well maintained. The staff at reception very friendly. It's rare in this form. Dogs are also noticeably welcome. Very nice facility, very well maintained, just a pity that there was no breakfast in the hotel since last Friday, the guests like myself with my wife and also the families from the holiday apartment will miss that very much. Should we reconsider a hotel without breakfast? Is that okay?

The hotel is located very close to Göhren center and still very quite. The personal touch makes this a fantastic location to stay.

The guest is fully taken care of. Perfect.

We liked it very, very much. Spontaneous requests such as a packed lunch were fulfilled and, as newcomers to the island, we received great advice on gastronomy, sights, etc. Highly recommended!

The boss of the house is totally friendly and there for each of her guests. (Thanks Tina 😊) The breakfast is very nicely done all Wishes are fulfilled and a lot of regional and homemade (jam a dream!) The rooms are lovingly furnished and very clean. The pool and sauna are a dream. We'll be back 😊

I was a guest at the Hotel Sonnenklahr in June. Absolutely great atmosphere and very nice team. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and of high quality. Virtually nothing to be desired. The breakfast was delicious. The highlight is the film-ready beach that is in the immediate vicinity. Highly recommended, gladly again!

I really liked the modern room, very good WiFi, good TV, balcony, bathroom from Duravit. I recommend booking breakfast. I didn't like the permanently running water in the toilet. There were certainly 4 liters per minute running through - so 5760 liters per day! I didn't feel good about supporting such a waste.

It was very nice, the room was neat and newly furnished, our room had a sea view. The bathroom was clean and modern. The breakfast buffet was sufficient and delicious, there was something for everyone. The staff were all very nice.

We where there for dinner and had two fish soup's which where not so really tasty and cold. We can't recommend it for dinner. It was okay but not good.

The service in general is so good. I arrived early morning (10am) and they gave me my room without extra amount. All the women in the hotel (reception, housekeeping, restaurant) were so kind and sweet. And I loved the breakfast!! The only “bad” thing is that it is not front the beach, you have to walk around 15min .

The room is small, but absolutely sufficient for a night's sleep. Everything was clean and tidy. The staff were nice and smiling. The breakfast was excellent. We were pleasantly surprised by the local hotel newspaper waiting for us at breakfast.

We stayed in a junior suite with sea view and balcony in the Hotel Stranddistel for 8 days, it was a dream vacation. Even from bed you could enjoy the endless expanse of the Baltic Sea and, if you were early enough, the sunrise. Not a real 4,5* star hotel if you can get a room with connecting doors to adjacent room with a little baby crying through the night… In general you feel more like in a holiday resort which may be finw but keep it in mind. The hotel was good and comfortable, but the whole experience wasn’t great, check-in was late. The breakfast was nice, but very crowded and one time we could not find a place, given that we were with our baby. The room was small, due to that I found the whole experience kinda not matching to the price.

My wife and I recently stayed at Vju Hotel Rügen, and our experience had its positives and negatives. The hotel room impressed us with its modernity, cleanliness, and spaciousness, and the added convenience of a kitchenette was a nice touch. The breakfast spread was diverse and enjoyable. However the regular menu had almost nothing I could eat...
