What can I say I was staying in a Castle. It’s got beautiful scenery, the breakfast buffet was delicious, customer service was amazing and the pricing was very reasonable. I will definitely be coming back.

Amazing, a very nice place to be in Black Forest. The view from the terrace looking to the valley is also beautiful. They produce their own hard liquor!!!! I took some for us to try at home. The food is tasty, fresh, and stuff are very attentive. Looking back to visit again. Thank you!

Room was clean and Tidy. Wet Cell very small. Furniture needs seeing to. Nice Folk, Gluten Free bread was EXTRA.

Very cozy Baden restaurant. The sensationally well-kept garden invites you to linger. Very nice and well-trained service staff. The food is excellent and of good quality. Table reservation is recommended.

We went there for lunch with 30 people (wedding). Everything worked smoothly. The food was good. Especially the meat. The Cordon-Bleu was delicious, and freshly made. The dessert was a nice selection of sorbet, cake, fruit and parfait. Only downside was the pumpkin soup, where the flavor of the standard curry powder was a little do dominant and didn't really fit the rest.

The Hotel Holzwurm is an absolute recommendation! the house is nicely located a little bit up the hill in Sasbachwalden, a cute village in the northern black forest. Eugen and all other hotel members made us feel welcomed and their service was outstanding. We arrived really late at night and they made sure we find our way around. The staff was so kind and helpful. We left something in our room and the housekeeper ran after us to our car as we were pulling out to return it to us. Dinner and breakfast was delicious.

They still exist. Those family run, top quality, with love to detail, proud of their work places. Engel in Sasbachwalden is one of those places. It is my 2nd time here. Despite being here for business, I enjoyed the local Black Forest atmosphere. Sasbachwalden and the Hotel Engel are perfectly located at the “entrance” to the amazing Black Forest. I guess the hotel has around 20 rooms, a fab restaurant...

We stayed at this hotel for few days. The place looks so traditional and feels great to be here. The town is perfect and the hiking tail is just fabulous!!!!!

Superb location with grocery, bakery, butcher all within a few hundred feet. City Schnapsbrunnen at the end of the street. Restaurants close by. You can begin any of the many hikes from your doorstep.

From the first contact when booking to the very friendly greeting upon arrival. At breakfast nothing was left to be desired. There were even gluten free rolls and cakes for our daughter. The apartments are very nicely and comfortably furnished. We felt very comfortable and thank you for the hospitality.

Hotel itself is very good. We had a room with balcony, a lot of space and great view. Enough space for parking, dogs are allowed. Very friendly staff and perfect breakfast. Good location for hiking or visiting other cities by car or by train. We also had a dinner there, käseplate was quite good. A wonderful and peaceful place. My husband and I went there just for one night before going to Heidelberg for the Xmas market (no other place was available around). All people from Landgasthof Rebstock are very nice and will do everything for you to have a nice time at their Gasthof. I absolutely recommend this place! Dinner and breakfast are "sehr lecker" too :)

We were there to eat. The food was very delicious but took over an hour to serve (the restaurant was full as it was Saturday evening). Friendly waiters, good atmosphere. Definitely try the Rumpsteaks!

Very nice place to have dinner. The food was excellent (I had the rinderrollatt) and the weissbier was as expected. The waiter (a man who looks like Timothy Dalton) was extremely nice despite my struggles with the German language. Unfortunately they were out of desserts so I might have to come back some time.

Very small and cosy Hotel reception and restaurant is really great. The rooms are clean and well maintained only the equipment you had in need of Revision. The hotel itself is just lovely. The location was prime, near to the train station. Facilities were well taken care of. The place is very nice with a wonderfull view. The food is also good. Unfortunately, there is no menu in English and this makes difficulty for a foreign client. On top the waiters speak very little English..I had reserved a table and the waiter gave me the worst table with the whole restaurant empty. Not a great service.

I've stayed here a few times. the location is fabulous, surrounded by vines, in easy reach of main transport hubs. the suites are fabulous, with balconies and views of vineyards and orchards. the hotel is on "wine street"! the people are lovely, welcoming, and friendly. the food is great, and the regional wines are excellent. there's even a pool and sauna. Was a very nice high end boutique hotel.. staff is very friendly and accommodating.. great breakfast in the morning. Did not have dinner there but looked amazing and they were fully booked on Saturday/sunday niggt so reservation is probably needed..

Great restaurant with local ingredients and beautiful view. The dishes are simple but made quite well. The fresh pasta and was particularly tasty. The service is very hospitable too, our waiter really tried her best to explain the menu to us and accommodate our needs.

The rooms were comfortable, clean, tasty breakfast, friendly attitude of the hotel personal.

Good hotel. Staff were friendly but ignored us at breakfast which was disappointing. The bathroom was rather small and cramp but the room itself was large and adequate. No on site parking but there is a pay and display parking area immediately behind the hotel which does get rather busy.

A great place on the way to Switzerland. Clean rooms, good beds. Nice breakfast. The advantage is that your car is protected behind the fence. This was our 2nd time that we stayed here and come next year certainly be back on our way to Switzerland.

A very welcoming and friendly place to stay, as a foreign visitor the staff were very helpful, especially Ida on reception. I didn't have a chance to try the restaurant but the breakfast was of a good standard for a hotel. I shall certainly stay there again on my return to Buhl next year.

The staff was super friendly letting us have dinner past 9 pm while it was already closed. The place is family-friendly with nice space around the hotel for the kids. The hotel is a 15-min drive from Baden Baden which also practical. Room was big and clean. Happy customer!

This is a nice boutique hotel with a modern lobby and breakfast area located on the third floor. The owners husband and wife are just wonderful and friendly. The rooms are clean and spacious with a modern bathroom and kitchen area is you want to stay in and cook for yourself. Overall nice hotel.

Beautiful bespoke hotel apartment not far from Baden Baden, the rooms were large and comfortable including the beds and pillows, the lounge, meal & bar was discrete and intimate with a view / terrace, but best of all was the hospitality received from Family Baumann (especially Natalie). Well done

Nice hotel located directly near several other hotels. My room in the hotel was directlly near the street but it was not noisy. Small breakfast room and no eggs or other hot food was served. Nvertheless the price was quit high for one night. Hotel emplyoees always very friendly and helpful.

Stefan was an excellent host. Hotel Is perfectly located and was spotlessly clean. Our room (a standard room), was quite comfortable. Shower was perfect with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was lavish.

Recently stayed here for three nights. Great location, great service and room. Free/convenient parking was also a plus. The manager was also very helpful in helping plan activities while at the hotel. Finally, ate dinner at the onsite restaurant twice and was very happy with the food and service. Definitely recommend for anyone in the area.

This stay was so much more than my family expected. Super cute building, cozy rooms, free parking, great breakfast spread, and unmatched hospitality. My husband and I stayed here with our baby to explore the Black Forest and Strasbourg Christmas Markets and it worked out perfectly. We can’t wait to stay here again.

We absolutely loved staying at The Bahnhof. The rooms are amazing; spacious, modern and super clean. The beds are comfortable and the walk-in shower a dream. Breakfast is good and plenty of it. The staff helpful, friendly and provide a fantastic service. Great location too; just across the road is the pedestrian area where the shops, cafes and restaurants are. We will definitely be back.

We had 2 rooms. Both were very spacious, well designed. Mine had a balcony which is always a plus for me. The rooms we're very clean. I could not find fault. Breakfast was the traditional Black Forest Breakfast. Again lovely spacious rooms well laid out. The staff could not have been more helpful. We visited only the restaurant however the food was very enjoyable, a menu for most tastes, including local products and great ice cream for dessert!
