Very cozy Baden restaurant. The sensationally well-kept garden invites you to linger. Very nice and well-trained service staff. The food is excellent and of good quality. Table reservation is recommended.

We went there for lunch with 30 people (wedding). Everything worked smoothly. The food was good. Especially the meat. The Cordon-Bleu was delicious, and freshly made. The dessert was a nice selection of sorbet, cake, fruit and parfait. Only downside was the pumpkin soup, where the flavor of the standard curry powder was a little do dominant and didn't really fit the rest.

We stayed at this hotel for few days. The place looks so traditional and feels great to be here. The town is perfect and the hiking tail is just fabulous!!!!!

The Hotel Holzwurm is an absolute recommendation! the house is nicely located a little bit up the hill in Sasbachwalden, a cute village in the northern black forest. Restaurants are in walking distance and excellent quality . The rooms, breakfast, service and kindness of the personnel and the owners is exemplary. Eugen and all other hotel members made us feel welcomed and their service was outstanding. We arrived really late at night and they made sure we find our way around. The Apartment was equipped with everything we needed for our vacation, has a great view and its location is great. We highly recommend it!

Serene view from the hotel room's window. Very helpful staff, excellent restaurant that offers a truly spectacular selection of wines. The room is not well equipped with charging stations and hence not really the room for business travellers, otherwise it's a fine blend of modern furnishing and 19th century vibe.

Fantastic dining in the most beautiful setting. Make sure you have time to visit local vineyard.

Great accommodation in Sasbachwalden! The hotel got recently remodeled, so that rooms and furniture are all new, modern and of high quality. In addition, the breakfast was delicious.

The Chef menu was good, waitresses were nice Unfortunately, we had to wait quite a long time because there was a Wedding in the other room of the restaurant.

What a Christmas menu with 4 courses plus some additional gratitudes. Food and service are excellent. Prices are on the higher side but definitely worth it. You will find typical dishes of the region in a perfected presentation. The interior of the restaurant is decorated somewhere in between a traditional and a modern restaurant of this region. They managed the gap and pushed the traditional ways...

Price-performance ratio not suitable. If you want peace, you are wrong here. Clairaudient. Tractors, leaf blowers ... Everything was getting on in years. Very friendly staff.

A warm welcome from the hosts in a very quiet house with no through traffic. The double room with plenty of space and seating, a separate wardrobe per person. A nice large balcony with seating and a very nice view of the vineyards and towards Strasbourg. The breakfast with plenty of baked goods and fresh sausage and cheese. What can I say I was staying in a Castle. It’s got beautiful scenery, the breakfast buffet was delicious, customer service was amazing and the pricing was very reasonable. I will definitely be coming back.

Amazing, a very nice place to be in Black Forest. The view from the terrace looking to the valley is also beautiful. They produce their own hard liquor!!!! I took some for us to try at home. The food is tasty, fresh, and stuff are very attentive. Looking back to visit again. Thank you!

Room was clean and Tidy. Wet Cell very small. Furniture needs seeing to. Nice Folk, Gluten Free bread was EXTRA.

Our 2.5 room maisonette apartment consisted of an open living room - kitchen - dining area and an also open bedroom on the gallery. It is positive that there is a bathroom both in the upper and in the lower area. The size of the apartment is also very good, the cleanliness is also okay. The location is beautiful, right on the outskirts in the vineyards and quick access to the hiking trails or bike...

Very nice hotel, you feel very well looked after and all your wishes are met. Breakfast was delicious. You would often be asked if you needed something. I left my jacket at the hotel when I left. Were informed about it on cell phone. We could turn around quickly to get them. Top!!!

Superb location with grocery, bakery, butcher all within a few hundred feet. City Schnapsbrunnen at the end of the street. Restaurants close by. You can begin any of the many hikes from your doorstep.

From the first contact when booking to the very friendly greeting upon arrival. At breakfast nothing was left to be desired. There were even gluten free rolls and cakes for our daughter. The apartments are very nicely and comfortably furnished. We felt very comfortable and thank you for the hospitality.

We spent two nights in the small, cozy and really lovingly furnished hotel - it was great. The location is central, yet very quiet. The only thing you hear at night when you open the window is the soothing sound of the river right next door. We received a very warm welcome and our apartment had everything you could need. Dogs are allowed in some of the apartments, on arrival there were already two...

The apartments of the Wagner family are very spacious and lovingly furnished. Each room is individually designed and has beautiful art paintings. Great hotel and a very family atmosphere. The rooms are very well maintained and very tastefully decorated. The breakfast is also particularly appetizing. The innkeeper and staff do everything to make you feel comfortable from the start.
