Good. Nice garden outside I just stayed one night. I had a nice stay. I really liked the garden with tables outside where you can sit and also bring your own food if you want. Only drawback I could notice is that no fridge was available in the room.

Perfect location and great Hotel, lovely town as well.

Really nice hotel ,clean room ,comfortable bed and bedding , I could control the room temperature which in some hotels you can’t , there was a strong food smell at times , but value for money you can’t knock the place

This place was a beautiful hotel with a great restaurant and super friendly staff. Room was big and beautiful and when i asked to be moved to the first floor for easy access for me and my bike they happily obliged. All around lovely place would highly recommend.

Very good hotel, with excellent conditions, kind personell with who it is possible to talk in English. Restaurant in the hotel serve good meals and always help to order supper, after late arrival.

Excellent stay, the hotel is really in perfect state and very clean. Staff is Wonderfull in every discipline.

No air Make sure you don't end up in the Hafenturm part of the hotel. No ventilation in the rooms and no AC either. Coupled with the fact that the rooms are facing the railway line and you need to keep the window open for some chance of oxygen supply means poor sleep in very hot and noisy conditions

Made my booking directly on the hotel's website whilst still in England and was able to make a reservation for the Meyer Werft tour at the same time. I was aiming to arrive mid-evening on the Sunday after travelling from London via Eurostar and onward by train. Unfortunately, on arrival in Brussels, I found my connecting train to Köln had been cancelled, which had the cumulative effect of my not arriving...

Nice hotel. Clean and spacy room. Breakfast could be better but probably it's due to the covid times. I could choose it next time once in Papenburg.

A great find for overnight or staying longer Good location, very good rooms with incl. breakfast, great value and a great restaurant with local food at modest prices which was a real bonus. Whether using this hotel as a base for local exploration or as an overnight stop this is a real find.

We picked this hotel pretty randomly, but we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality, cleanliness and most of afll: the friendly staff. They went above and beyond in helping us with questions and also offered us an upgrade because another guest cancelled. The restaurant is quite nice and fairly priced. Unfortunately the pool was closed for maintenance but it looks nice when it's open.

If you are looking for a quiet, calming stay in a charming Gasthaus, this is the place. The rooms are nicely furnished and the atmosphere is pleasant. They aren't kidding about the sheep! The staff was very attentive and friendly, perhaps the best service I've had in Germany. The food was also nice and they accommodate many different dietary requirements. Did I mention that the sheep are grazing on...

The rooms are nice and spacious. Location is good and the food you can get in the restaurant is great. Only downside for me are the beds are not great but not so bad you can't sleep at all.

Overall a very quiet place in the center of Haren. You can enjoy the nature just a few minutes away from it. Friendly and helpful stuff. Everything was great, except the fact you have no fridge or iron in the rooms.

The hotel is not in the city centre but nearer to other activities and suited better this way for our purposes. Excellent breakfast and super friendly staff ready to help. They have a couple of houses, we stayed in the original. The rooms have been renovated and if not fancy, they were nice and comfortable. The bathroom was really good. All in all just as one would expect

The new building is very nice. Two rooms with kitchen and balcony. Neither a bad deal nor location.

We drove up to Emden from Geneva with our sailplane. We had to go through customs nearby in the morning. So, we stopped at the Haus Wittwer for the night. The hosts were very helpful. They let us come back to the hotel in the morning after customs for a shower and breakfast. The breakfast alone was well worth the stop --- fresh salmon and berries for my wife and a very tasty coffee for me. And there...

Modern, very well equipped room. Bed linen and bed nicely arranged in terms of color. Huge flat screen. High quality bathroom. The staff: super nice and committed inside. The restaurant with a manageable menu and very tasty dishes. Here you get full. Great extensive breakfast.

The various dishes tasted very good and were also well presented. We also had a pasta dish which tasted very good. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely visit the restaurant again.

I was there for now 2 times. Hotel is very nice and freshly renovated. Rooms are spacious and well decorated. Everything is clean and in good condition. Breakfast is fantastic, there is a lot to try. Restaurant serves quality food and portions are quite big.

The whole hotel had a relaxed and easy atmosphere. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, the breakfast buffet was rich and varied. Dinner at the restaurant in the park was very good. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and felt very comfortable.

As an emergency solution, I checked in spontaneously and treated me very courteously. I had a great room and a forgotten charger cable was sent home. Great house, great service. Whenever I'm in Emden again, I'll be back.

There's a small lounge downstairs for relaxing, chilling or newspaper reading. You can grab daily newspaper for reading. Breakfast is OK - standard, nothing fancy. Location is great, best Restaurant in the town (Hacienda) is 1 min walk and town centre approx 10min...

Attentive and good general service, however in the rooms there are only channels in German and the breakfast has little variety (no fried eggs, no beans, no Nutella,...). Free snack service, however, only cakes and little variety.

Somethimes everything clicks - and this hotel ticks all the boxes. Light is just right at the chamber, a fireplace in your room (although for safety fake), floorheating at your toilet / bathroom, free minibar, perfect breakfast.. excellent spa and very capable staff. I was pretty impressed!

Excellent hotel. Great staff and close to everything. If there is one thing it is that the rooms are quite loud and I did not sleep well because of my noisy neighbours. I am also unsure about the cleanliness as there were black hairs on the floor of my bathroom. I am sure this is just a one-time happening and not regular because the hotel is nice.

Nice newly renovated hotel in Emden. Close to the port and just a few steps from the city center. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are nicely and beautifully furnished. A very well run hotel that I can only recommend. I always book a room with a view of the harbor.

Fabulous restaurant, lovely staff, we had a balcony room and a beautiful day so could sit out overlooking the water. Fridge full of beer and drinks on the landing with an honesty box.

Had breakfast "Kaffee und Kuche" here whilst on a bus trip from the Dutch company "Paulusma Reizen". Was very satisfied with the food and drinks, service was great and restroom usage was free, very clean building and great staff.

We had three rooms, one for special needs, a normal double bed and the family room. The first was fantastic, extremely spacious and we had no trouble navigating with the wheelchair. The second was super comfortable and met our needs, the third was smaller than i expected however the bunkbeds were big enough even for an adult, also the top bunk had protection to stop falling out. We were really impressed with the hotel! Room really nice and clean. The only thing we didn't like that much, there was no way for us to pay for the room in cash. Had to pay by card, otherwise we would not have been able to move into the room or would otherwise have had to spend a few hours in the cold. Otherwise really great!

Fantastic if you want a museum room as accommodation with the worst workmanship to slap the en suite together. Shower rail was held up with fishing wire. Good parking.

Friendly service for checkout, and facilitated a very late check in, but hotel is very dated and tired throughout. Room was very cold on arrival (I don't normally get cold), and some plug outlets in the room weren't working so I had to remove lamp sockets to get a working plug by the bed. Very nice place. The rooms are roomy and clean and windows can be opened. The restaurant is very good to the fish we got was well prepared and tasty. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is because we did not get our invoice as promised. We had to sent them a few mails before we go it settled.

Fantastic price/quality. I loved the schnitzel and the room was very quite and the bed very good. Not too soft not too hard. Hotel is situated on a square and a lovely street with shops.

Great hotel and great spa but horrible beds. We booked the suite. They were extremely hard and we had a hard time getting decent sleep. I don’t understand why a hotel purchases mattresses who are so hard and therefore so specific for a small group of people. Too bad.

Spend here only one night. But absolutely great, perfect.

Its very clean and very cozy. I even like it that the wi-fi is super fast and alot of little things that would just make you feel like home. I gave it a 4stars rating because of one thing, and that is THE WALLS ARE VERY THIN. You can hear everything from other room to a fullstop. I'd even rate is less but the place has alot of good things that compensates for its 1 shortcoming.

Big hotel, accessible on the main road, doctor, bank market at near by in the heart of the wiesmoor.

Me and my wife, we stayed at this hotel in November of 2017 and we stayed 10 nights. We are pleased with all the services at the hotel. Clean hotel, spacious, always staff at the service, breakfast fresh and diverse and a restaurant with fantastic dishes from Yugoslav cuisine. Will we go back to this hotel again? Yes, of course, and with pleasure.
