Very good hotel, with excellent conditions, kind personell with who it is possible to talk in English. Restaurant in the hotel serve good meals and always help to order supper, after late arrival.

Excellent stay, the hotel is really in perfect state and very clean. Staff is Wonderfull in every discipline.

No air Make sure you don't end up in the Hafenturm part of the hotel. No ventilation in the rooms and no AC either. Coupled with the fact that the rooms are facing the railway line and you need to keep the window open for some chance of oxygen supply means poor sleep in very hot and noisy conditions

Made my booking directly on the hotel's website whilst still in England and was able to make a reservation for the Meyer Werft tour at the same time. I was aiming to arrive mid-evening on the Sunday after travelling from London via Eurostar and onward by train. Unfortunately, on arrival in Brussels, I found my connecting train to Köln had been cancelled, which had the cumulative effect of my not arriving...

Nice hotel and location. Usual breakfast options (No fresh juices or waffels etc though.!) The guy sitting at reception seemed least interested in being welcoming.

I’ve been touring Germany for three years now. This place has the best breakfast buffet, period. Staff is super nice, everything here screams “come back soon”.

Small village hotel, older establishment that has been very well maintained, restrooms updated with great materials, beds very comfortable, breakfast is yummy in the morning, and the employees were very kind. The employees will make cute cappuccino’s for you in the morning if you ask. Very excited to stay her again! Walking distance to many restaurants and the canal!

I was at Hotel Restaurant Engeln for three nights. The staff is well manered and always eager to help. The main shopping area is a bit far for walking to the centrum but not totally outcounted. The room did not include a fridge but otherwise the room was comfortable. Oh, I do recommend bringing your own shower soap and shampoo.. The only downside was poor wifi quality. I couldn't work at my room...

I travel for work and have stayed in many hotels. This hotel is clean, pleasant, and welcoming. My room was very nice and the restaurant is absolutely wonderful. I ate in the hotel restaurant all week because - with food so good - there was no reason to go elsewhere. The staff is kind and attentive. I am looking forward to my next visit to Papenburg.

Good. Nice garden outside I just stayed one night. I had a nice stay. I really liked the garden with tables outside where you can sit and also bring your own food if you want. Only drawback I could notice is that no fridge was available in the room.

This is a great little hotel, in quite a good location. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the food was very good and the rate was very reasonable. The staff were all very welcoming, and were only too happy to help! If and when I am back in Papenburg, I would happily stay here again!

We had a room on the first floor, luckily I only had a carry on because they do not have elevator which was not a big deal for me but if you have a lot of luggage it could be a problem. We picked this hotel pretty randomly, but we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality, cleanliness and most of afll: the friendly staff. They went above and beyond in helping us with questions and also offered us an upgrade because another guest cancelled. The restaurant is quite nice and fairly priced. Unfortunately the pool was closed for maintenance but it looks nice when it's open.

If you are looking for a quiet, calming stay in a charming Gasthaus, this is the place. The rooms are nicely furnished and the atmosphere is pleasant. They aren't kidding about the sheep! The staff was very attentive and friendly, perhaps the best service I've had in Germany. The food was also nice and they accommodate many different dietary requirements. Did I mention that the sheep are grazing on...

This hotel is good however it is priced pretty high and the room will only cool down somewhat. The parking lot was full on Saturday night so we had to park in the alternate lot which was a little further. We did appreciate that before the end of breakfast, staff visited each table to let you know they would be taking down the breakfast buffet.

We were 4 days guest in Oberledinger Hof. Our room was large, comfortable and clean. At breakfast we didn't miss anything, despite pre-baked rolls. The food in the associated restaurant was very good 👍 albeit expensive. The hotel bar was "ruled" by Gudrun. She served the guests in a friendly and competent manner. The music was spot on too! Excellent place. Good and not annoying personnel. The room are well equipped with all necessary stuff (fridge, microwave,TV, etc.) If I knew how to cook, I would not leave the room :). In addition bycicle rent is available. Breakfast is quite usual. Next time I'll be in Leer , hope to stay here again. Wi-Fi is not free, good enough for skype video calls.

Beautiful, small, well-kept hotel in the middle of Ditzum. Nice and courteous staff. Short way to the port. We felt very comfortable and will be back.

I was passing through Ditzum for one night and booked an overnight stay here. The check-in is well solved even if the reception is not manned and you were greeted in a friendly manner (on the phone). The room was clean and I liked it. Only the tiny television is no longer up-to-date. There is a very large and locked cellar for bicycles. The breakfast is varied. However, the rolls were a disaster....

Age-related definitely blemishes, but clean and very friendly staff. The restaurant is very good. The fish plate was delicious and the price list is more than cheap for the quality. A great hotel in old walls. Sure that not everything is as fine as in noble shops, but you should know that beforehand. If something is broken or not working in the room, we will take care of it directly. It's also very tasty and the portions are quite large. We'll definitely be back sometime

We stayed here for 3 nights, the staff here are friendly and the location is close to everything too.

The rooms are nice and spacious. Location is good and the food you can get in the restaurant is great. Only downside for me are the beds are not great but not so bad you can't sleep at all.

Overall a very quiet place in the center of Haren. You can enjoy the nature just a few minutes away from it. Friendly and helpful stuff. Everything was great, except the fact you have no fridge or iron in the rooms.

A beautiful classical farm house in typical Northern Germany architecture, a must for golf enthusiasts.

Excellent golf course that is challenging yet fun. Very pretty as well, especially the back 9. 18 is the so called signature hole, and one that everyone sitting at the pretty restaurant will watch. Pascal the pro is always a treat even just to have a conversation with. All in all a great club.

Nice room and people It's a nice hotel with a good breakfast, some rooms are outside of the hotel and for the breakfast you have to go in the main structure. Very good hotel in the heart of Emden. The room we had was very clean and well equipped even with a safe, however, not newly renovated. Very friendly staff and a good breakfast selection in the morning. The location itself was very close, about 10 minutes foot walk from the city centre and the famous "Ratsdelft". The car outside costs 4€ a day, however is very crowded. Another option is the garage...

Arrived at 6pm after a long drive and the hotel was closed, no multi language info on the door to tell us what to do. As an emergency solution, I checked in spontaneously and treated me very courteously. I had a great room and a forgotten charger cable was sent home. Great house, great service. Whenever I'm in Emden again, I'll be back.

The hotel does not have a restaurant (but it does have an excellent breakfast buffet at a very reasonable rate!). We celebrated my wife's 65th birthday in a separate room in the restaurant with family, friends and neighbors. The team had prepared everything very festively and served the 40 or so people wonderfully and professionally - simply excellent service!
