Good hotel at a good price. Friendly helpful staff. Clean. So tasty varied breakfasts. Great example of how from an unnecessary old building you can make a very atmospheric cozy place. Liked everything. Thank you!

The Hotel is located right along the canal and it is easy to walk from the Hotel through the small town and discover the area.
Getting there by car is a bit challenging but manageable and the nice thing you will have to drive underneath the old crane.
The young staff team was very friendly and helpful and did their best to make the stay as comfortable as possible. The Restaurant offers a good selection of Food and Drinks and the atmosphere was quite nice.
Since there are no roads with lots of traffic near by, it was very quiet and this gives you a very good nights rest. I can recommend this place very much.

The best in the hotel is the front desk and restaurant staff! They mad my business stay amazing! Location is great, quiet and neat. Food is awesome! My company paid for the stay, so i dont have much to say about that, but overall the pricing of the hotel should be mid ranged. Not a fancy 5 star hotel, but perfect if you are traveling through or a tourist for a few days. Truly can recommend to anyone, i loved my 2 weeks at the Alte Werf! Great Staff; way to go!

Traditional German hotel , ie solid furniture and fittings and service. Not much has changed here in 15 years since my last visit but that's not a bad thing as the original quality was good, quality food and the rooms are spacious and quiet. I'm not a fan of the large pillow though.

Every time I come to the area I stay here. My first visit went to well and I I loved it so much that I will stay here every time I visit for work. The rooms are very spacious, the value you cannot beat it! full service snack bar and stocked beverages(you have to pay) but it’s still available in each room. The old Werft transformed into a restaurant is so beautiful!

I stayed for one night and used the restaurant and conference rooms for a two day business meeting. The rooms were very clean, big and well equipped. The restaurant has a very special atmosphere as it is located in what used to be an historic factory hall. The food and service was excellent, including the breakfast buffet. I can fully recommend this hotel and would gladly come again.
