Hotel Atrium Garni in Passau

Lovely little hotel on the edge of Passau town , easy within walking distance roughly 10mins away , very clean and all rooms had everything you need for a short stay over maybe 1/2 days , excellent breakfast choices of continental, full English and much more , would highly recommend this hotel .

It's a very nice hotel, although the room was a bit smaller than expected. The bath towel was also a bit on the small side. On the positive side, the room came complete with a kettle and beverage kit. The bed was very comfortable and there was an electric fan tocombat the warm weather. One down side is the parking. Whilst yhere is free parking available, it is a couple of hundred yards up hill from the hotel and has nothing to do with the hotel, it is a public parking area. Parking in the hotel's own underground car park costs €7.50 a night, which I find quite unacceptable, bearing in mind that I paid €100 to stay there for the one night. The staff were friendly, but the breakfast was a bit disappointing. The selection was good, or might have been had everything been available more than half an hour after breakfast started. All in all though, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend the hotel Atrium.

Located probably a 15 minute walk from the centre, the location is nice. I chose this as it had parking and I wanted somewhere secure for my motorbike, but they charge €20 to park so may as well stay in the centre and pay to park.
The room was nice, and breakfast was reasonable.

Hotel Atrium is a beautiful purple hotel that had just what we needed for an overnight stay in Passau. It had the most delicious breakfast, of our entire 2 week vacation through Europe, that was included with our stay.

The staff was kind and helpful and even kept the whirlpool and steam room area open longer for us since we got back to the hotel right before it closed. This added customer service really made our night after a full day of train and bus travel! Thanks for a beautiful stay.

The room was alright. Nothing outstanding, just fine. Huge minibar, though. As the hotel is next to the street, noise is a bit of a problem, but earplugs are provided.

Breakfast was wonderful. From eggs and bacon, fish, sausages, tomato and mozzarella to all kinds of sweets. It was just a lot bigger than we expected.

The hotel is excellent, with clean and well-maintained rooms. Breakfast offers a wide selection. The only drawback is the lack of an iron and ironing board.

Clean quiet friendly staff

My sister and I loved the place. Staff very friendly and helpful. I want to add is if you have mobility problems, make the staff aware so you can have a room on the side with the elevator. We hadn’t thought about that, but the the staff was very accommodating and changed our room. We also thought the bathtub was really high to transfer in.
Overall, a lovely place

Friendly and beautiful staff. Clean and well decorated lobby. Lovely rooms with all the amenities. Parking isn't great, but the experience more than makes up for it. Will definitely be returning!
