Traveling for business 2 times per year, the service is great, good food, rooms very clean, room service perfect

a throw back to another epoch with staff and furniture from years gone by. A good restaurant serving fine dining with several set menu options to choose from

We chose to go the weekend when there was a music festival and the fire alarm went off at 5:15. Chose this as a restful break. Would like to return to see if it could be great.

No lift in the building. Important to know if you have many luggages. Otherwise room is clean with facilities.

It's a awesome place use to live there when I was a kid you might know horst nafziger or Heidi his wife Marcus his son silka his daughter I know hors has passed away really want to move back to Germany I really miss it

The property is really a restaurant with rooms, they seem to have bought up houses ether side, we were in haus 3, there were at least four others mostly accessed from the street. Our room was huge, large sitting area, with sofa and two chairs, very comfortable. Didn’t eat in the restaurant, breakfast was good, excellent value.

Had dinner here tonight. Food was great but had to go to the bar to order a drink twice. Service was poor.

Rooms are adequate and clean. Reception member could barely speak or understand english. And I think it is overpriced for what you get and in comparison to what I experienced at other hotels in Numberg with B.fast included.

We stayed in this hotel for 2nights and they give us a a big room with living room in the second floor no.11.Big bathroom with shower, everthing looks new and very tidy as well. Love it. But we ddnt sleep good at all coz of the bell from the church every 15 mins or 30mins it will sound. The noise from the passing cars on the road begins at 5am in the morning. Luckily we stayed only for 2nights otherwise...

Hotel, service and people all very well. Dinner in the official restaurant was disappointing and was overpriced for what was presented. Food on the terrace was better and better priced.

My fiancé and I booked this hotel, last minute after leaving the outlets. What a wonderful surprise. Staff was was extremely helpful and friendly. The pool was absolutely amazing. The breakfast was just ok, if I were to ever stay here again, I would skip it. Highly recommend.

We loved our two night but 'far-too-short' stay at Hotel Kloster Hornbach. We were on our way between France and heading to Frankfurt for our flight so Hornbach is ideally situated. Everything thing is extremely well thought out. Decor, service, staff and all the little extras. Our dog had a great bed (as was ours) bowls and biscuits at bedtime! Breakfast had a good selection , with tea, coffee and juices available in the lobby all day.

I can’t say enough good things about Kloster Hornbach. It’s our favorite place for a night away. The establishment, food, wine, and service are unmatched. The rooms have so much character and not one detail is overlooked. I highly recommend the stay with half board.

Best hotel anywhere near Zweibruecken. Everything about our stay was better than expected - although we knew it would be nice based on previous stays at the Hotel Rosengarten.

An odd one Posh restaurant connected to a hotel that badly needs a refurbish. Carpets are old and stained. Lift is archaic and doesn't service the top floor.

Fabulous stay filled a childhood dream. Father was stationed at the Air Base when it closed. We used to walk the village often. Always loved the property. It didn’t disappoint.

It would be well worth driving out of your way to eat at the Hotel restaurant, the DeHam. In the 14 days we spent in Germany and France, it was by far the best meal. In my over 40 years as a professional traveler, the dinner was a rival to any in the world. The hotel room was spacious, quiet, and accommodating. Put this family operated hotel on your bucket list.

Very friendly and very clean. For the price, no complaints. Small issue that my room was a bit cold when I arrived and I couldn't get the radiator to work, but this resolved itself.

The staff was friendly and helpful. My first room, #105 was small, with a window to the street. When the bathroom ventilation didn't work, I asked for assistance. I was given another room, #101, with a bathroom window and twice as much space, facing the back courtyard, a drive through area. Good WLAN. People smoked below my window and there was considerable traffic in the courtyard at certain times...

Very welcoming and clean. The Innkeeper was very gracious and accomodating. This is close to Landstuhl, where I was visiting family. Delicious little German restaurant. They have pizza and a lot of Italian dishes. The pizza was good and the rump steak and spetzle was amazing!! They do take card.

I got an "appartment" which turned out to be the whole first floor. Clean, full kitchen and bath, and friendly owners. The owner even offered to make me breakfast on the day I was checking out. Really nice place in an easy to get to location.

Stayed there last night - 7 Dec 22. Extremely neat, nice hotel. Room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Even had a few English news channels - not expected. Staff was polite and professional. The hotel and the restaurant are experiences that are mandatory. The food is so good. The rooms are large with good views. The staff are wonderful. I stay here every time I am near Landstuhl.

Ordered lunch to go for our anniversary - even boxed up, the presentation was lovely! And the flavor - oh my - so delicious! As one who can’t eat gluten, what a delight to find a restaurant with a dedicated GF restaurant and to enjoy CROQUETTES, which I haven’t been able to eat for the past two years. And that CHEESECAKE - just wow! Whatever you’re doing in that kitchen, keep it up!

Schloss Hotel is always dynamite. Been staying here since 2003...hasn't skipped a beat. Great food, and even better setting in nature, and a very fair price. Highly recommended!

This hotel has no air conditioning. Fans are usually fine for Europe, but the room only had a table fan. The shower was so small, turning around turned the water off. The hotel is near trails, Nanstein Castle, and Landstuhl Regional Medical Center. Breakfast was excellent, and staff was kind. This stay would be more tolerable in the winter.

Beautiful hotel nestled in the forest near the Nanstein castle ruins. There are walkways all around. The restaurant has limited hours as does the front desk. The room had the typical German amenities and decoration. I stayed in a single room so I wasn't expecting much room. The staff was friendly.

This is a hidden gem. The room was fantastic. It was very spacious with a refrigerator and ceiling fan. The bed was very comfortable with night stands and plugs on both sides. This hotel is wonderful! I called half an hour before they closed desperate for a room for my son and I. This was the absolute cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. And I travel a lot. The owners are wonderful, helpful and accommodating hosts. The fresh breakfast is a great way to start the day. The hotel is in walking distance of all sorts of bars, restaurants and of course the castle. This is a great all around hotel.

A good B&B near to Ramstein. I had a comfortable room, complete with fridge and microwave. The bed was comfortable and I had a great shower. The breakfast was good. Plenty of free parking outside. The wireless was not great which was the only downside. I'd stay here again if in the area.

We have stayed here for extended periods of time. This is the only hotel in which I will stay. The innkeeper, Michael, does a wonderful job of making you feel at home and helping you to find your way around. He has a wonderful staff and we definitely felt like family.

Friendly place to stay The staff were so friendly and if we ever go back we will be staying here again. We had to ask if it was possible to check out an hour later due to a transportation issue and the gentleman at the front desk was so friendly and let us check out at a later time. Fantastic hptel with friendly staff

Lovely "German village" setting. Older hotel - 5 stories, no elevator and we were on the 5th floor. AC wasn't working in middle of the summer. Had to change hotels. The staff were very understanding.

My husband and I stayed at the Goldinger for 4 nights while visiting Landsthul , Heidelberg and Ramstein. The staff was extremely accomodating , especially helping us to get a taxi to the base for departure, The inn is so cozy! We will be back!

The restaurant had the best ham eggs benedict I've ever had. The coffee was nice and strong, the jams, butter, and margarine were amazing and the croissants were perfectly fluffy and flaky. The service was excellent. Would recommend, will come again.

We got our room upgraded without asking . In the suburb of Kaiserslautern near the ruins of a 1200 yr old castle that is free and open to the public. Great staff and safe and quiet. I recommend highly

We have stayed at this hotel for the 2 time after 3 years. It is very nicely decorated, very well maintained and the staff is very friendly. Therefore, we felt very comfortable with our second visit and would come back again and again.

The vegetarian zucchini stuffed with feta, and pasta on the side was terrific. I always leave happy after a dinner here.

Everything was amazing! This super authentic and quaint hotel is located a 10-15 minute walk up to the ruins of a historic castle and about a 15 minute drive to downtown Kaiserslautern. The rooms were bright and airy with comfortable beds and fans for warm weather. Very spacious and clean. The breakfast was phenomenal with fresh breads and cheeses. We also had lunch at the restaurant in the afternoon...

Only speaking for the restaurant here, but it is by far Top 3 in the Kaiserslautern area for me. The food (vegetarian and meat dishes alike) and the wine are outstanding. The tavern-feel of the interior maintains so much character. Any time my wife and I have something to celebrate, we are sure to come here. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Staying at hotel frohlech We requested 2 single beds as travelling with my son. When got our room there was a double bed with 2 duvets. We asked about 2 single beds and was told it was a bed for 2 people! Also bad planning on my behalf booking a hotel in Germany on the opening night of the euro's. This is tucked away from the hustle and bustle. We went here for dinner and the restaurant was very clean and the hostess was welcoming. Our service was great. One person had the fish which was really good and fresh, the steak was done exactly right. Finished with fresh made sorbet. Nice relaxing dinner.

This place was ten miles east of our town and we selected it randomly. Overall our stay was surprisingly good. Our very clean double room on the 2nd floor was ok but we had an end unit and lots of street noise. No air conditioner or fan so it was a trade off between noise and fresh air. For over 10 years I have had the pleasure of occasionally staying at the Merkur. Some short visits, some 30+ day visits. The staff is like a family and makes you feel like you belong there. They are all courteous and helpful. It is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at. As for the food, I've tried most of it and it is 5 star quality. Hilton and Marriotts cannot compete with the Merkur!

Amazing hotel with wonderful staff. Breakfast was delicious. Dinner was incredible. The steak was flawless. Gabriel and Johannes are incredible human and great bar tenders. Great conversations. If I ever come back to this area, this is where I will stay.

The Hotel Merkur is a wonderful place. The staff is amazing, the food was great, and the bar was always hopping. I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to the Ramstein area.
