Decent hotel with friendly staff. Free sauna, for parking the hotel offers a underground facility for 10€ per day. The furniture looks and feels a little bit outdated. The very best amenity is the sauna, great place to relax in the evening. Entrance is free. Vegan options are limited.

My first impression of the hotel is good. Good entrance, lots of free parking places in the street and close to the city center if you want to visit. The WiFi is from time to time not responding and quite slow, but overall good. I got the junior suite room which is slightly bigger with a seat and a small desk. Nice little hotel. The rooms are clean and modern. The staff are very friendly and respond to requests. The breakfast is plentiful and it is constantly being refilled. There are sufficient parking spaces and a chargeable charging station for e-cars. The dinner was also very good and reasonably priced.

Great place! Very calm in the center of the city of Plauen.

On the first view you feel like the hotel is too old but its just looks like. Reception is very dark and I belive if you change reception (as a place ) that can bring better first impression. I don't mean to change a place but to renovat it or to bring some soul to it. Rooms are big and really very clean. For a few days to stay strongly recommend this place

Very friendly staff! They kept the reception open a bit longer for us so we could still check-in and at that moment even took the time to connect with our dog (which is difficult and takes patience). Would definitely recommend this place and whenever traveling in the area I’ll stay here.

The location is the big plus and the price was alright too, but the hotel itself, well. As many others have said, it's in need for a renovation. I had a room with the depressing view of the backyard. Rooms only get cleaned on request, despite staying there for a week. The locks are flimsy and the walls thin.

The hotel manager was so gracious. He tried to do everything for us. Put our sagging flowers in a vase with fresh water. Room was spacious and lots of light. Bathroom in the small side but good enough. Shower was hot and good flow. Room clean. Priced very well and you cannot beat the location. Walk up stairs.

As everyone else has said, great location, fair price, very nice room, but the biggest highlight for us was the excellent service and the lovely breakfast! Breakfast is a small extra fee but absolutely worth it, you should do it.

Charming, family run hotel in a quiet section of Plauen, close to the city center. Breakfast included and really good. Staff helpful. Owner kind enough to sell me a beer even though restaurant had closed. She found me a charger for my IPad, Room was small but comfortable, clean and priced well. Book early, this hotel is popular and fills up fast.

Arrived after traveling a long way to a warm welcome from the owner. The restaurant had closed but they still sold me an excellent German Beer. Room was small, but immaculately clean and comfortable. Quiet location on the nearby lake, where you can hear the fish at night. The rooms were newly renovated only a few years ago and are in top condition. Breakfast is very extensive and can be seen!

This may not be the best hotel you have ever been to, but you will have a pleasant stay here. I believe it's a family business and the gentleman whos always there is very friendly. You are allowed to make a sandwich in the morning to take away with you, something I've never seen elsewhere. The bathrooms are renovated and very clean.

Excellent place to overnight with a most central location, very clean, friendly personnel, at reasonable prices. The location on the third floor of a building, very modernly build, is kind of unusual, however very easy to reach from the ground level or underground garage with the elevator. We come here for the pool, which is the only one of its kind in the whole area. The entrance fee for a family of five (three children) for three hours seems to be rather steep - we paid 50 Euros. Once inside there are two water slides and there is an artificial wave every hour for five to ten minutes in the lower pool. When there is sunshine outside the views are amazing. There is no food or drink...

Stunning view, resturants are ok... rooms are very old, colors in the rooms were outdated in tbe 60's however everything function and for the most part comfortable. I guess if you travel here in the winter it is ok, but in the summer make sure you understand that there is no A/C that means it gets hot quickly, but, in the evenings it is nice and cool outside.

We were not in the hotel, but in the thermal baths. This also has direct access to the hotel.
