Nicely located in the edge of Rügen, however you can reach most of the 'important' locations within 20 min by car. Clean blocks, nicely equiped rooms and dog-friendly, good prices, I can only recommend.

Excellent bang for your buck! The staff was incredibly friendly, and to top it off, each room comes with its own private sauna. The inclusive breakfast is well-balanced and satisfying. The hotel's convenient location allows for easy access to tourist attractions via a nearby bus stop, just a quick 2-minute walk away. Overall, a truly pleasant experience!

I'll be honest, I gave the service one star only because when I arrived at the motel late at night. I wanted to wash, I went into the room, the room is cold. I thought, Well, at least I'll take a hot shower, at least there I'll warm up and go to sleep. We needed a place to stay on Rügen at short notice, which was almost hopeless in the main season. When I asked Mr. Schuldt (ruegenmagic), he took care of it immediately and we were allowed to spend 2 wonderful days in a nicely furnished and clean apartment in Glowe (close to the beach). Nice little hotel. The beds are very soft and low. Nothing for people with backs. The kitchen facilities are great. So you can make your own coffee or prepare something quick to eat. The breakfast buffet is very rich. For dinner we could choose between a fish and a meat dish as part of the half-board option.

Like every year, we, three families and two children, go to the Störtebeker Festival and are always in the same hotel "Beacon". The rooms, the food and the staff were all great. We will come back there again next year. Highly recommended by us Berliners.

It is the perfect weekend getaway for both family and friends. The resort boasts a fantastic indoor playground that quickly became my kid's favorite spot. The enormous pool is a highlight as well, staying warm even in the winter, which made for a delightful swim. Great countryside hotel! Staff was very helpful and friendly.We had half-board, the food was always fresh and delicious, although drinks are not included during the dinner, prices are reasonable. Great place for families. Great/perfect room and breakfast plus super facilities for kids. I would have rated it five stars, but bad maintenance of the swimming area and no soap dispensers there really lowers the score.

the location is great, but the rooms needs to be maintained, no room service until requested and before 24 hours.

So, somewhat on the edge of making it a two but my little one enjoyed it, and that counts for something. The splash pool was included where we spent most of our time when being on the premises. It's quite alright but the indoor playground could use some upgrades, too. Worst part was the staff though. Be it at the hotel or the pool area. This Hotel is located in Glowe, and accessible using Public transport. Glowe Strand is very nearby hardly takes like 2 mins walk. The location of this hotel was excellent because it is located close to the long Beach. And the service of the staff was really kind and good. But I was disappointed that it fell sort of my expectation. It would be reasonable to get 3.5 stars bacause the quality of facility was not so good and the scale of the hotel was small.

Very nice staffs, very good place close to beach and a small street food, there is NO massage but they have a very cozy pool. Breakfast is awesome, you can easily skip the lunch after that huge breakfast. Windows has no net so have you anti mosquito spray .

All you need for a nice stay on the sea coast for families with kids

We visit this place at least two or three times a year; and it really improved. We've just had dinner, steak and fish. Everything was just splendid. Sitting right next to one of Rügen's top beaches and most scenic views supports our already good perception.

We really appreciated the variety of pools and saunas offered, especially at such a relatively reasonable price. Having a kitchenette was also a big plus for us. (It would have been perfect if a cutting board and a cooking knife had been available, too!) For travelers without a car, the ride to Binz train station was extremely helpful and much appreciated. We would love to stay here again if a room...

we spent 3 nights in the hotel. the spa area is the best part of it - warm water, a few saunas. i didn’t like the plastic plants and the overroasted beacon. also i wish there was a coffee machine or at least a teapot in the room. and tell me please, why are there those cut out round holes between balconies? and a good thing is the cheap wine at the reception when the bar is closed. anyway i enjoyed...

The staff was very friendly. Our apartment was very spacious. It is a bit out of the way. It takes about 25 minutes to walk to the pier. The prices for breakfast and dinner are too high in my opinion.

Visited their spa / therme (we did not stay over night) and it was amazing. They have 3 pools, two with salt water and one with mineral water. Hot sauna too. The entrance to the spa is 36 euro per day but it has a cheaper price of 18 euros in the morning until 13.30. Can't be booked online but at the spa reception only.

We had one of the apartments on the ground floor. The mattress was past its best. I have never experienced anything so saggy. The room could have been cleaner, especially so simple. We had very good weather, place is close to beach and area has a very long path to walk between the beach and hotels. A lot of places to eat, close to all the things to see, treetopwalking is a must, dogs are not allowed eventhough its possible and easy to get around. Kingschair is a almost 3 km walk throuh the forest and back again, i would consider møns klint a better place, but the walk in the wood...

Location is excellent, about 200m away from the beach and less than 10 minutes walk to the town proper. The room is big, has it's own kitchenette, dining area and living room with a pull-out sofa bed. Both the bed and sofa bed are comfortable. Reception is across the street, the same reception as Arkona Hotel. Receptionist were very helpful and can speak English well.

Not good service. The price for breakfast per person was not as stated. INSTEAD OF 12.50€ it was 23.50€. Nobody there after 6pm. You always had to look for someone.

Binz 2019 A lovely destination with lots to see around or just to lie on the fantastic beach. We usually try to stay at the Arkona Strandhotel as it fulfills our wishes and is right on the beach, in addition it is walking distance to most things

Great room and location but the cleaning is not real, they don’t really clean the rooms or change the sheets and no vacuuming so the rooms will get sandy even if you ask for cleaning they don’t do it properly and no vacuuming! Small pool but okay also The sauna and pool is kind of dated!

This hotel is situated in the middle of the Strandpromenade in Binz with a few meters to the sandy beach. Our room was at the 4th and fifth floor - we had a balcony with a free view over neighbour houses and a side sea view. The breakfast was splendid with fresh fruit, new prepared eggs dishes - salmon, sausages, croissants etc.

The hotel is highly recommended. However, it is recommended to book the hotel only after the coronation events are fully completed! ... The underground car park is very narrow. If you are lucky, you will be able to drive home without any additional dents in your car.

The hotel is well located, the service very friendly and the breakfast great. However, as others wrote too, our room was pretty small and our bathroom tiny given the brand and pricing of the hotel. In addition, not everything was spotless clean.

My review refers to a “country-style” double room. The rather small room was equipped with very low beds with sharp edges that could establish a risk of injury. There is a lack of storage space for suitcases. The cleaning of the living room and bathroom was perfect. The service was also correct. Noteworthy is the excellent breakfast, the wellness area and the shuttle service from the train station...

Second time at the Kurhaus. First visit since the rebranding to A-Rosa. Hotel still holding a good standard. Rooms a little worn out. In need of a face-lift. Breakfast is good and location perfect. Spa area is small but cosy. The biggest disappointment is that the steakhouse has transformed to a wirtshaus that not keeping the same standard as the steakhouse. Would probably stay here again.

We were passing here and a space opened up in a fab beach chair so we popped in for a couple of drinks and to admire the view from the terrace. Ended up sharing a delicious club sandwich as well. I’d also hoped to order an ice-cream sundae as the ones others were eating looked pretty good but they needed to pack up for an event. A shame we won’t be back in the area as I would certainly come in again...

It was not mentioned at checkin that parking costs an extra €19 per day, so it was a complete surprise when it appeared on the final bill. Relaxing stay The included breakfast was amazing. Very clean and modern, yet cozy vibe. The location is central and close to the beach, pier, shops, and cafes. The spa with sauna and steam room was so comforting after hiking on a rainy day.

Nice place to be, close to the beach and great nature around

Everything was to satisfaction. Took a bit long to check out, due to only one personal at the reception desk and problems with a card transaction for the customer in front of us.Otherwise all good.

We stayed 5 nights and had a great experience. Location is great, very nice and clean rooms, and super friendly staff. Lotta restaurant is a perfect addition to the hotel.

We checked in 2 days ago, into 2 different types of rooms. Junior Suite and Premium double room Check in was good, with all information needed for the stay Breakfast was included, good choice but not enough cold cut option for guests do not eat pork (only one choice if chicken) Spa area with pool, sauna area, massage Rooms are en suite, bathroom with hairdryer, small kitchen area with coffee machine...

Great location in the centre, 2 minutes from the beach. The staff was super friendly, the breakfast was good. The suite was really cozy, clean and well designed. Also the spa area was everything we hopes for for our weekend stay! :) Definitely recommended!
