A nice choice of place to stay in Rugen. The hotel is quite nicely done and the location is in a good location as well. The personnel are really polite and helpful, the food offered is high quality and diverse, and there are alot of amenities at your disposal in the hotel. All I can give is a positive feedback!

We had a very good meal here. It's not exactly cheap, but the dishes are worth the price. The portions are sufficient. The waiters are very attentive and friendly. There's also a tower right next door that you can climb with a wonderful view.

Nice location, well maintained property. Cozy restaurant with good breakfast buffet. We stayed in the 2nd floor Sued room. The room’s door is in the stairway it is ver loud in the early morning since the service entrance of the hotel is at the bottom of the staircase. A better, soundproof door would probably help here. No parking on premises but lots of parking some 100m away.

This is not what I thought. The staff have a hard time with communication. The room was dusty with spiders. I was put in the bottom level with a parking lot view. The castle was not busy. Sauna was nice and the pool was nice. Food was really good.

We landed at this castle hotel after 1400 km of driving from our home in western Switzerland. The hotel was constructed in the previous 19th century castle at the end of the 20th century, and our room, partly located below ground levels, did not appear to have been renovated since. The beds were hard like an old Mercedes-Benz car seat and you had to battle with the shower cabin doors to avoid the water...

Good hotel, no dinner Nice hotel, good room and great surroundings. The fact that there is no restaurant or bar the day of my arrival came as a message after I booked (in addition there was just a smal food shack open in the adjacent village).

Great Hotel. Wonderful library, and the breakfast was amazing. Fresh fruit and a cereal and seeds bar. The rooms are well kept, everything was cleaned and the staff was really friendly. I also enjoy the wellness and spa area. The spa is small but was in really good shape and there was complementary tea 🫖. We’re definitely coming back.

Not good service. The price for breakfast per person was not as stated. INSTEAD OF 12.50€ it was 23.50€. Nobody there after 6pm. You always had to look for someone.

Beautiful hotel in the historic building of the princely pedagogical institute. Rooms renovated to modern standards, good beds and good bathroom. Very good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. We needed a place to stay on Rügen at short notice, which was almost hopeless in the main season. When I asked Mr. Schuldt (ruegenmagic), he took care of it immediately and we were allowed to spend 2 wonderful days in a nicely furnished and clean apartment in Glowe (close to the beach). We found this lovely spot while looking for a new hotel on Rügen. The rooms were clean and the grounds were nicely decorated. Everything was relatively new. The reception was very friendly. Breakfast was good. We would happily return.

We stayed at the Wreecher Hof for a week and felt very comfortable there. Delicious food, although the menu could be a bit more extensive. Very friendly staff, very well-kept grounds. A bit out of the way, but absolutely quiet. I would definitely spend my holiday there again.

I’ve been there for one night in the hotel. The room was ok, but the shower in the bath had mold and old spiderwebs in the corners. The breakfast buffet is great. Good stuff and enough for everyone. One can of coffee on each table is a good thing. In the restaurant I’ve tried a white wine spritzer... 4,90 is expensive :/

In late October, 2017, some friends and I gathered at this hotel's restaurant for dinner. The food and atmosphere were fine. One friend complained that self-purchased wine was forbidden, no corkage fee available.

What a wonderful place. On our arrival we we met with very friendly staff and the stilt-house we rented was very clean. We are already talking about going back in summer when there will be a lot more activities to do. We had the time to explore a small part of the island, and would like to see the rest.

A fabulous, unforgettable stay. Our flat was E type, flat 11 above the restaurant with view on the sea from...every single window ! Flat is modern and beautiful, with everything you need. We were there in the winter (February) and I am sure this place is amazing at any time during the year. I recommend it without a single doubt. Just stunning. Also, the staff was very nice !

Excellent, friendly, outstanding service. Due to private reasons we had to decline our reservation on very short notice. The Service team did everything to get the house booked again even though the contract was very clear that we have to pay. At the end: we got our money back without any effort from our side. The hotel is on the water's edge and one is lead to believe that dinner is served on the terrace/dining room with a view over the sea. This is not the case, at least out of season when the dining room is relocated to a basement room.

The hotel is the perfect property for a nice couple getaway. There's a lot to do like hiking, biking and nice evening walks. Breakfast buffet was perfection.

We have been to Badehaus Goor before and got ok dinner, but this time, they have change it to a buffet, and well I can not rememeber I have gotten so bad food before, the salad was boring, and the boiled calf cheecks was so fatty. And the waiter was a bit rude. We choose to eat out the other nights. Else the stay was pleasant and good.

Off the beaten path. Quiet. Nothing to do beyond the beach. But if this is what you are looking for, this option is affordable and convenient to the quiet beach.

Very nice place to stay as family, group or class. Rooms are comfy and the view from the upper floors is nice. You can rent everything! So if you forgot games or balls, no problem! Staff is very friendly and the food is good too! Worth a stay!

Well I should have known what to expect. I arrived on a Thursday and there were many young school groups. It was was living a real life nightmare. Kids screaming, running around at high speeds and slamming doors and destroying the bathrooms. All the school groups checked out on Friday so the weekend was like heaven and very quite. They kept everyone in my room, and there are some very strange people...

As others have mentioned, the check-in process is quite bureaucratic; I couldn't check in until the checkout time had ended, even though there was a vast empty field for me to put up my tent in! Thankfully they let me put it up in advance and check in later. Breakfast is included (as a matter of fact you cannot refuse it), and while the dessert was fairly good, their ham is an otherworldly experience...

Pretty stylish place, the interiors are well sustained in the spirit of Jules Verne's 20000 Leagues under the sea and Steampunk if you will. They seem to have a decent sound and disco lights there. Food is local and quite good (however I failed to find dishes inspired by the subj, wink). Staff's courteous and welcoming.

Very nice place with really nice meals. Not exclusive but a great place with kids from 8 yrs and up in the spirit of Jules Verne's Nautilus.

Visited the restaurant after I saw a billboard about their submarine themed experience. Fitting with the theme they had plenty of fish and seafood to choose from with most of it being local recipes. All in all it as great with me getting remembering reading Jules Verne as a child while eating some really nice food.

Great apartment in the Prora building Very well equipped apartment in one of the most massive buildings ever! Great kitchen, very nice balcony overlooking the ocean, and a very comfortable bed. Parking in a parking structure across the road was quite expensive, but the room was relatively cheap, so that was okay. Oh, and free drinks in the fridge!

Quite a pleasant hotel with spacious rooms. However, the quality of service could be improved. The word "good morning" is probably not known, instead you are asked what your room number is (during breakfast). If you want to pour hot water into a thermos flask, the staff will charge you 2.5 euros. Ridiculous!!!

Ferienwohnung with view to the ocean. Modern and clean. It was unusual to have the reception not covered all day, but somehow okay. I personally would prefer to have staff on site 24/7. Not many options for restaurants bur supermarket is close to shop and cook your own meals.

The hotel is great. Nice clean room with fully equipped kitchen. The pool was very nice. There are no places for shopping and just a few restaurants, ordering food deliveries was not possible.

This was a lot better than I had expected. Great location, great beach, very good breakfast and good if not great restaurants close by. If you are staying for a longer stint there are many stores close by so you can cook for your self. Overall this experience was a lot better than I had expected.

Prora is a fantastic place! I recommend to everyone, we have been several times. We had technical problem with our room but it was fast resolved by management. Super friendly, profesional management. Big plus for dog acceptance. Animals stay for free.

We really appreciated the variety of pools and saunas offered, especially at such a relatively reasonable price. Having a kitchenette was also a big plus for us. (It would have been perfect if a cutting board and a cooking knife had been available, too!) For travelers without a car, the ride to Binz train station was extremely helpful and much appreciated. we spent 3 nights in the hotel. the spa area is the best part of it - warm water, a few saunas. i didn’t like the plastic plants and the overroasted beacon. also i wish there was a coffee machine or at least a teapot in the room. and tell me please, why are there those cut out round holes between balconies? and a good thing is the cheap wine at the reception when the bar is closed. anyway i enjoyed...

The staff was very friendly. Our apartment was very spacious. It is a bit out of the way. It takes about 25 minutes to walk to the pier. The prices for breakfast and dinner are too high in my opinion.

Visited their spa / therme (we did not stay over night) and it was amazing. They have 3 pools, two with salt water and one with mineral water. Hot sauna too. The entrance to the spa is 36 euro per day but it has a cheaper price of 18 euros in the morning until 13.30. Can't be booked online but at the spa reception only.

We had very good weather, place is close to beach and area has a very long path to walk between the beach and hotels. A lot of places to eat, close to all the things to see, treetopwalking is a must, dogs are not allowed eventhough its possible and easy to get around. Location is excellent, about 200m away from the beach and less than 10 minutes walk to the town proper. The room is big, has it's own kitchenette, dining area and living room with a pull-out sofa bed. Both the bed and sofa bed are comfortable. Reception is across the street, the same reception as Arkona Hotel. Receptionist were very helpful and can speak English well.

Excellent bang for your buck! The staff was incredibly friendly, and to top it off, each room comes with its own private sauna. The inclusive breakfast is well-balanced and satisfying. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Nymphe Strandhotel, and so did Scooby, my dog! We had the warmest welcome, and nothing was too much trouble. It's not always easy to travel alone with a dog, but here Scooby could come with me to breakfast, sleep in my room - and run around on the fantastic sandy beach outside. The guesthouse is located directly on the Schmachter See and you are only 5 minutes (700 meters) from the beach. The rooms are well equipped and very clean. To the hotel I can not say, the loneliest thing I can say we were in February / 2019 here and had to say with horror that this beautiful restaurant with delicious food and super nice service, had to close, because the lady of the house no staff and For health reasons, you can no longer handle both alone. We understand, but are still very sad about it.

Fantastic location on the promenade just 50 metres from the beach, and it was worth paying more for a room with the sea view. Breakfasts were superb, and the restaurant served delicious fish dishes. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed there for a week and were genuinely sorry to leave.

The hotel room was very lovingly decorated so that you could just feel at home. The fish market, the restaurant in the hotel, was also perfect. The food was simply divine. The starter "Haus Lissek" was enough for 2 people, it was so generous. The fish platter at the fish market, the fish was so tender, with the creamy pointed cabbage and the mashed potatoes that flattered everything with their taste...

Great hotel on the seafront. The rooms are modern and extremely comfortable, the bathrooms are roomy and beautiful. The spa (Turkish bath and two different kinds of sauna) is a dream. Fantastic breakfast and adorable staff. Dogs accepted.

Clean with a small but nice SPA

Well situated with pentry, balcony, parking, nice beds, friendly personell good priced hotel. Strongly recommended.

My second time there, came back because everything was perfect.

Staff (Especially Reception) was incredibly nice and always smiling. rooms are clean and as shown in pictures. Also amazing kitchen.

The breakfast room is at an excellent location, facing the sea front and the "Promenade" of Binz. The choice and quality of the food is excellent. It is very smart that cold cuts and fish are in a separate, cooled location. Egg choices are being asked by the service staff and prepared and served to you, you don't have to stand in line. What makes this place exceptional is it's 10...

This hotel is situated in the middle of the Strandpromenade in Binz with a few meters to the sandy beach. Our room was at the 4th and fifth floor - we had a balcony with a free view over neighbour houses and a side sea view. The breakfast was splendid with fresh fruit, new prepared eggs dishes - salmon, sausages, croissants etc.

Arrived early @11:00 - room was ready - a bonus. Breakfast was good as always. Sunny balcony at rear [no sea view]. Sauna/spa empty.
