Excellent place to overnight with a most central location, very clean, friendly personnel, at reasonable prices. The location on the third floor of a building, very modernly build, is kind of unusual, however very easy to reach from the ground level or underground garage with the elevator. This may not be the best hotel you have ever been to, but you will have a pleasant stay here. I believe it's a family business and the gentleman whos always there is very friendly. It is a very simple hotel with a the basic needs that you want. And the owners are very nice and helpful. When I asked them for directions they gave me a map of the town and explained what buses and trains I should take.

I stayed here whilst on business in Zickau. The staff here are all friendly. The check in and out was quick and efficient. The room was clean and there was plenty of options for breakfast. The location is just a few minutes walk from the main restaurant area and also the park.

The restaurant is either understaffed or the staff in place is really inefficient... Started when we arrived, we waited for about 10 minutes standing in the doorway. It seems that to make a 90s show of a flamed meat was more important than taking 15 seconds to send us to a table... On the first view you feel like the hotel is too old but its just looks like. Reception is very dark and I belive if you change reception (as a place ) that can bring better first impression. The location is the big plus and the price was alright too, but the hotel itself, well. As many others have said, it's in need for a renovation. I had a room with the depressing view of the backyard. The hotel manager was so gracious. He tried to do everything for us. Put our sagging flowers in a vase with fresh water. Room was spacious and lots of light. Bathroom in the small side but good enough. Shower was hot and good flow. Room clean. Priced very well and you cannot beat the location. Walk up stairs.
