It was a great surprise. The room was clean and modern. Staff are really nice and the breakfast is nice tho. Nice stay for a little trip at Europapark, really close to the location.

I has been pleased how fast the check in was. The room was clean and everything was set-up as I requested. The complementary drink was awesome, as usually. The clerks are super friendly and they do speak several different languages too.

A very decent choice for travellers in transit, or for short business stays in the area. There isn’t much competition in the immediate area, but still this hotel does its best to make you feel welcome. Rooms are spotless and rather big, and come with decent workspace as well. They are, as is common for Express hotels, not very well equipped (no fridge/minibar) but it’s enough for an overnight or two...

Fodd is good with a very nice staff. A/C controlled by hotel despite the dial in the room. Wont let you cool or warm it past what the building stat is at. Opening the windows will get you a night of horseflies.

Very quiet and comfortable hotel. Breakfast was decent, on a weekend till 11 am. We weren’t asked to leave a breakfast area after 11 and didn’t hurry up. Everyone was very friendly, staff speaks good English. As a member of loyalty Programm I got also a free late check out. Recommended.

If you need a place to stay after a long day at Europa park this is a great spot. It has friendly staff, clean rooms , a grocery store across the street, even a winery 3 kilometers away and a very good Italian restaurant next door. Whatever you do though do t accept two keys , if you lose one or your kid does they will charge you a crazy 20 euros. One key is enough , do not accept 2nd.

5min drive to Europa Park and Rulantica. Clean rooms, family rooms with bunk beds, free great breakfast, complimentary water bottles, and budget friendly. Way cheaper than staying at one of the theme parks! Loved our experience.

Very convenient if you go to Europa Park, near the direct bus shuttle to the park and the train station. Rooms are big, clean and bright, hotel has a nice little garden with tables and breakfast is really good. Only negative point is that hotel reception staff is only available till early afternoon.

Not too expensive, spacious clean bedrooms, excellent breakfast with lots of options to choose from in the buffet. We went during a calm period so there was no noisy disturbance. You can hear the regional train nearby if you open the windows. There is no air conditioning though. You can have bottles of sparkling water for free. Overall it was a really nice stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Breakfast was complete en fresh en the service was excellent. The room was in style of the hotel name and we enjoyed the hart shape above our bed. Big room and nice bathroom.

Very friendly staff. Our room was quite large and clean, we did feel a bit exposed when the shutters were up as there are no curtains. Slept really great on Sat-Sun. But Monday we were woken up by the building constructions across the road (not much they can do about this of course). Quite Big rooms and very reasonable rates. Owner lady was too nice and explained everything nicely. in 216 Euros we had 2 double beds and a bunkbed so place for 6 people actually .. Highly impressive.

The hotel was nice and clean, comfortable beds, nice bathroom/shower. Everything looked very updated and modern. There's a big, nice lounge, a front desk where you can buy food and more, and vending machines with snacks + coffee and even soup in the lobby. My only problem was I thought the breakfast buffet was lacking, but still not bad.

Well placed to go to Europa Park (10 minutes) Clean hotel, clean and comfortable bedding. We also had breakfast, there was plenty of choice, there was something for everyone.

Excellent all round. We arrived later then planned to the hotel, and found the electronic check in fantastic. All the staff we encountered was polite and friendly. The room was very clean and to a high standard.

Lovely family hotel for Europa Park A lovely hotel near Europa Park. Used their shuttle service ro the park and the station, and that was brilliant and always on time. The pillows could have been a bit better but aside from that a lovely family hotel.

Friendly host who speaks English, German and French. The apartment has a Nespresso coffee machine and capsules are provided for a small price. A beautiful garden with a spectacular view in an upper cul de sac. Even toilet paper, kitchen roll, washing up liquid, dishwasher powder, towels were provided. Ideal base for a visit to Europa Park.

The hotel itself and the breakfast are both good. We booked through Trip with our dog, and it was clearly stated that pets were allowed. However, upon arrival, instead of a welcome, the first words we heard were... 'Dogs are not allowed here.' They could have handled that situation much better. Only after we specifically inquired were we told it would be acceptable to have our dog for an additional...

No air conditioning, good breakfast.

We were looking for a dog-friendly hotel. We found this one online and booked it. Upon arrival, a very unfriendly staff member informed us that pets were not allowed. This immediately presented a problem for us. After a lengthy discussion, our dog was eventually allowed to stay for an additional charge of €20. We would have preferred a friendlier and more understanding welcome.

Basic Budget Hotel If you’re looking for a basic hotel on a budget, this ticks the boxes. There are decently sized beds, toilet facilities, car park and opposite a good 24hr shell garage and Burger King. A downside was that there was no safe available, and the bathroom lock was missing. The rooms get very hot in the warmer seasons, there’s no air-con but there was 2 fans provided and wide-opening...

Very good meal. We have been there many times and with the new ownership I was a bit nervous. Nothing to fear. Just as good as Ralf used to make. We'll be back.

I booked a non smoking room and all of my clothes smelled as if I would be a chainsmoker after my stay. When I arrived I was told there was recently a break in attempt. So I did not feel too secure back then, though nothing happened during my stay. Breakfast was good and the staff was nice.

The stay in the hotel left nothing to be desired. We were there with our 2 children and the in-laws. Everyone was absolutely thrilled. The apartments are modernly furnished. Everything is still like new. Wi-Fi and even a Bose soundbar are part of the equipment. The breakfast can't be beat. Everything from our own production (even the cold cuts). Nothing is missing. Special requests are not a problem...

The ox is just great! The rooms are beautiful, spacious and invite you to relax! We received a very warm welcome and our every wish was fulfilled! The breakfast was fantastic, something for everyone, whether sweet or savory! In addition to the regional specialties, they even bake their own bread! Our dogs were also very welcome! We will definitely be back! A very big compliment !!!!!!!

We were guests for 2 days and felt completely at ease. The staff was really nice. The apartment was lovingly furnished and well equipped. The breakfast was delicious too. Parking spaces were available. If we could have, we would have liked to have stayed longer.

Hotel was very clean and presentable. Check in was simple and stress free with friendly receptionists.  We stayed as we was visiting Europa Park, a 20 minute walk  or 5 minute bus ride away. We walked and it’s all well signposted from the hotel to the park.  There is a Lidl and EDEKA nearby for food, the hotel does minimal food options in an evening, just pizza and wings however there is a microwave...

Travelled with 2 kids aged 10 and 14. Perfect after a day Europa Park. Great room and a very good breakfast. Recommended!

A very nice and clean hotel. It has large double bed rooms with a beautiful interior design, fancy TV and trendy light installation. The hotel also has an outdoor swimming pool with a garden, a business corner with a computer terminal, an inhouse restaurant-bar and a couple of parking spaces. Complmentary mini-bar and wifi belongs to its standards. Staff was very friendly during our stay.

This is a lovely hotel, close to europa park (they have shuttle or they give a free parking ticket), the staff was amazing, they were so nice and helpful. The breakfast was also very good. The rooms are just ok noting special, the bathroom needs an updated. But it has air-conditioning which is a big plus. Clean and nice room, with a very good shower. Only downside was the bed, which had a bit of a pit. It was uncomfortable to sleep on my stomach, as I normally do. Breakfast was good, with everything you need. Fresh bread was added regularly. Due to the wooden ceiling and upstairs seating, it can become quite noisy at breakfast.

We went to Europa Park and this hotel was walking distance . The front desk employees were very nice and accommodating. We arrived a bit early and they allowed us to check in early. The rooms are upstairs , but nice and clean. Bathroom was nice too. Breakfast was included and was really good ! A mini buffet ! I highly recommend this hotel !

The place is just few minutes walk away from europark. The staff was super nice and kind.

The rooms were simple but good, and the staff was very friendly. It is at walking distance from both Europa park and Rulantica, and their parking avoids paying for the theme park parkings. Breakfast was good, with the possibility to sign up for it the day before. Our only negative point is there was no AC present, and that the rooms were thus really hot during our stay.

Lovely hotel with a great bar and restaurant. Bar staff and management are great, really welcoming and friendly and couldn't do enough for our family. Special mention to Colin, he's such a fun barman who kept our glasses full all evening, and treated the kids like mini adults. We will definitely be back!

Probably the most elegant and comfortable hotel from Europa park. Very warm with plenty of wood 🪵 and marine memorabilia. Lovely rooms, some of the best located in the lighthouse. Pool, spa, several bars and restaurants and a gifts shop complete the offer. Service is welcoming and friendly.

This hotel is nicely located if you want to go to the Europa Park theme park. The rooms are spacious but when I booked the presidential suite I did expect to have more space than what we got. Our suite is two floors, with a stair on the first floor leading to the second floor. The first floor has a toilet, a bathroom with shower, a double bed and a desk with TV. No coffee or tea in the rooms (I didn’t even know it was possible to have a four stars rating without that). You can ask for a kettle but there won’t be any complimentary coffee / tea with it. You’re expected to buy that at their bar downstairs. At breakfast and for the dining buffet, you’re placed seemingly at random, there is no possibility to choose your table, even in advance on the website there...

Great hotel for a wonderful getaway with my wife for our 25th anniversary. The George Washington tower suite in the lighthouse was amazing, the regular rooms are still good but can’t really compete. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our highlight was the visit at ammolite, the 2-star restaurant in the lighthouse, where we could also have breakfast in the mornings. The hotel bar has great drinks...

I look forward to three days at bellrock every year. Very good food, relaxing and of course lots of fun in the park. The gym is also great.

Pro: friendly staff, nice atmosphere, clean room, relaxing pool and sauna (18 years+, access to sauna in the side building through first upper floor). The buffet was tasty. Con: encouraging background music in all public areas. 10 minutes walk to the park, so start early, when you want to enjoy early access.

Had an absolute BLAST, every employee we met was helpful, and kind. There are plenty of attractions, shows, shops, and restaurants to choose from so there is something for everyone. The hotel biggest selling point was obviously its proximity to the park and there was some charm in its decor and design But, and it's a pretty big but, our room as are most had a window overlooking the piazza and it's soooo laud especially at night, it's absolutely impossible to keep the window open to sleep, and even with the window closed and with earplugs I had real problems falling asleep. Amazing Bed & Breakfast Everything was very clean and amazing. The host was very gracious and let us into our room early. The room has a FRIDGE! Unheard of in Germany. In the future we would book our whole stay here instead of the EP/Rulantica hotels. There was also a fridge in the lobby with refreshments for purchase. 11/10 highly recommend.
