Visited Europa-Park resort for four days where we stayed in Hotel El Colloseo. Spend the first day at waterpark Rulantica followed by 3 days at the theme park. The hotel biggest selling point was obviously its proximity to the park and there was some charm in its decor and design But, and it's a pretty big but, our room as are most had a window overlooking the piazza and it's soooo laud especially at night, it's absolutely impossible to keep the window open to sleep, and even with the window closed and with earplugs I had real problems falling asleep. Probably the most elegant and comfortable hotel from Europa park. Very warm with plenty of wood 🪵 and marine memorabilia. Lovely rooms, some of the best located in the lighthouse. Pool, spa, several bars and restaurants and a gifts shop complete the offer. Service is welcoming and friendly.

This hotel is nicely located if you want to go to the Europa Park theme park. The rooms are spacious but when I booked the presidential suite I did expect to have more space than what we got. No coffee or tea in the rooms (I didn’t even know it was possible to have a four stars rating without that). You can ask for a kettle but there won’t be any complimentary coffee / tea with it. You’re expected to buy that at their bar downstairs. Great hotel for a wonderful getaway with my wife for our 25th anniversary. The George Washington tower suite in the lighthouse was amazing, the regular rooms are still good but can’t really compete. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our highlight was the visit at ammolite, the 2-star restaurant in the lighthouse, where we could also have breakfast in the mornings. I look forward to three days at bellrock every year. Very good food, relaxing and of course lots of fun in the park. The gym is also great.

Pro: friendly staff, nice atmosphere, clean room, relaxing pool and sauna (18 years+, access to sauna in the side building through first upper floor). The buffet was tasty. Con: encouraging background music in all public areas. 10 minutes walk to the park, so start early, when you want to enjoy early access.

Nice hotel, clean and very close to the park. Room is basic no iron nor ironing table instead you have to drop your clothes by yourself qat the reception. The shop in the lobby is limited.

Good comfy hotel, me and my girls slept very good. Breakfast ok. Good thong about breakfast, you can eat all you want and it gives plenty to drink.

Nice buffet restaurant, strange decor in hotel... wouldn't be my 1st choice to stay at this one as the other hotels have a better atmosphere

Clean sheets, very clean room. Check-in was easy. Chairs outside rooms, good privacy, can't hear other rooms. Genuinely a good experience.

The staff was really great and always ready to help. The room was quite big and very clean. Good bathroom. The breakfast had a nice amount of options.

After reading the bad reviews I was actually really worried about staying here but it actually was nice. When we booked the hotel we wanted to make sure that we were very close to the park because we're going to be there for New Years Eve and didn't want a long walk back to our hotel. For what it is -- a lower cost, family-owned, B&B-style accommodation, close to Europa Park -- this was a fantastic place to stay in Rust, Germany. It is very close to the entrance to Europa-park, not more than a 5 minute walk, even with a 5 year old. The rooms were nice, but very hot without air conditioning. The free breakfast was good. Wifi was decent, and the location was excellent.

Fair size family suite in fair price. Restaurants are expensive and not as you expect them to be. Service is excellent, room is clean and cozy.

Recommend. A bit unusual having to call if arrival is after 6pm, but smooth check in overall. Disappointed with the lack of a fridge behind the fridge door in the room, quite obviously to drive sales for overpriced drinks (...3 EUR for a water, even more for a soft drink). Booked this hotel through Booking.com. had a nice room, big enough for 2, with airco, nice bathroom. Perfect for when you're going to Europa-park. The good market next to it is also ideal after a long day. Stayed there 2 days but they didn't clean the room the 2nd night. So with the price, a little expensive.

Perfect and a very convinient location to the park. However, limited breakfast choice - and this morning there was no fruit salad at all, also limited choice of bread - comparing to other morning (no darker bread). Excellent! Very comfortable, clean room with Aircon. Very friendly, multilingual staff and a lovely breakfast, choosing what you want from an extensive menu. I was very impressed. The hotel is directly opposite the Europapark entrance, so perfect for an early start to the park. Hope to be able to visit again soon. Everything was just as I could have wished.

So pleasantly surprised! Room was spotless - comfortable bed for us and a bunk bed for our son. Convenient to the park as well restaurants and the bus stop to the train. Right next door to a convenient food/snack/miscellaneous store as well. The included breakfast is beyond amazing and makes the price of the hotel more than worth it… we would stay here again 100%.

Location, top. Just next to the main entrance. Easy to reach, free parking in the rear. Check in was friendly and welcoming. The rooms got what you need but nothing extra. The rooms are basic and could be a bit cleaner. Breakfast is a hectic affair the moment since you have bread and everything already cramped on the table and the staff runs around to get you everything else. It got a factory feel...

So, this place is a bit pricey but, it's worth it! This hotel looks nice, is right across the street from a Europa park entrance, the rooms are clean, there is a little convenience store downstairs, and the service from reception to restaurant is good! We will stay here again.

Great location if you are planning to go to Europa park. Very friendly staff and they allowed us to leave the car there while we were at the park. Bed and pillow not so comfy, but clean room and with nice balcony view.

We have been to Rust several times, but for the second time in the Hauser guest house, it was definitely not the last time. Absolutely recommendable, the accommodation is very nicely furnished and clean, for cleanliness there are definitely 5 stars. Very nice owner, due to traffic we couldn't make our check-in time, this was no problem. Appartment was clean, could use a couch though. Breakfast was good and generous. Would book again for sure!

The rooms were simple but good, and the staff was very friendly. It is at walking distance from both Europa park and Rulantica, and their parking avoids paying for the theme park parkings. Breakfast was good, with the possibility to sign up for it the day before. Our only negative point is there was no AC present, and that the rooms were thus really hot during our stay.

Lovely hotel with a great bar and restaurant. Bar staff and management are great, really welcoming and friendly and couldn't do enough for our family. Special mention to Colin, he's such a fun barman who kept our glasses full all evening, and treated the kids like mini adults. We will definitely be back!

The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. The rooms were also clean and comfortable, if a little small. The food was also very good; there wasn't a huge amount of choice, but it all tasted fantastic.

Very friendly, didn't spent much time there as it is 5 minutes away from Europa-Park. Also in a beautiful part of Rust with a lot of restaurants near. The rooms had everything we needed with 3 beds, clean sheets, towels, hand sanitizer, etc etc

Very old design. Some may like it more than others. Breakfast is alright, but the food in the evening is excellent. Good prices and very near to the park.

Clean and nice room, with a very good shower. Only downside was the bed, which had a bit of a pit. It was uncomfortable to sleep on my stomach, as I normally do. Breakfast was good, with everything you need. Fresh bread was added regularly. Due to the wooden ceiling and upstairs seating, it can become quite noisy at breakfast.

It would be a good hotel, if there would be some soundproofing on doors to protect your sleep against screaming kids early in the morning.

Owner is very welcoming and present at all times. Check in and check out in no time! Our stay was pleasant, you feel at home. Location is great. Hotel extremely clean, rooms are spacious and prices are fair. Car parking is free. A/C wasn't that good and there is no control for the temperature or air flow, all you have is "on" and "off".

We were one day in December in the Europapark and stayed 1 night in the Pension Dolce Vita. We can only say, very, very nice hosts, rooms very nice and clean, breakfast was also served with love. We will definitely come back here on our next visit to the Europa Park.! ☺️☺️

Clean apartment. Soft beds. Great echo in the hallway to make scary voices to frighten the kids or just have a laugh in apartment 4. Air conditioning works wonderfully in All rooms and the reception is wonderful. Extremely close to the bus station for the Europa-Park bus.

Fabulous hotel! Great value for money and the location couldn't be better. Centrally located and a 2 minute walk to Europapark. Rooms are clean and large enough to comfortably accommodate a large family or group. On site Pizzeria is highly recommended. Staff are friendly and go over and beyond to make your stay a pleasant experience.

The Casa Rustica is a very beautiful and lovingly decorated hotel with friendly staff and an excellent restaurant. Definitely recommendable.

Once you check in , it is hard to get in contact with receptionist for help. Ask for wifi when you check in or you wont get it. But even with that, when you do see them, they are nice and helpful. Beds are really comfortable and they provide everything else that is needed.

This hotel was located near the amusement park; Europa-Park. The staff were really kind to us. We left the hotel early in the morning (6am), they told us exactly how to do with keys and so on, and we also asked them about the breakfast (which was open from 8am) which were superb prepared. It felt that the Ricci family gave us genuine love. This hotel is warmly recommended!

Our regular pension. With Ms. Moog you are always welcome. Simple but clean rooms with TV and small bathroom. Lounge with large TV and fridge with various drinks. In summer there is a possibility to sit in the garden. In the morning there is a good and adequate breakfast better than in some hotels. Can the guest house from us only recommend. Ideal also the short way to Europa Park.
