5 mins walk from Rostock central railway.
While I wasn't expecting too much, I was pleasantly surprised.
Free coffee at reception, check in was good and fairly efficient. To the room, clean, tidy with a big bathroom and good shower, comfy bed and I had a balcony for a smoke if needed as had an ashtray outside.
The main reason I stayed here was the breakfast review, which many said exceptional.
The usual cold buffet, warm rolls, scrambled and fried eggs, bacon, sausage, smoked salmon. Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs for breakfast (off the buffet 😁) yum. Coffee machine. The decor was very seasonal and esthetically pleasing BUT the biggest shock was with all the juices was white wine (an absolute first for me in 58 years) Well done, would recommend, just for the breakfast. Thank you.

We were looking for an affordable place in Rostock and came across the "Hotel an der Stadthalle" The website looked ok, the pictures were really nice, and I thought "If half of that is true, it may be OK" We arrived late at night and got the keys from a key dispenser. The place was clean and well light. The breakfast in the morning looked JUST like the pictures, and so did the room which was REALLY great. The room was clean and well taken care of. Miss Schippmann and Miss Krage did and outstanding job, they made us feel comfortable and "at home" My German is pretty bad, but they all spoke English, so we managed. I was surprised how quiet the place was, even though it's located next to the main train station and a bus hub. Next time we come to Rostock, we will stay here again, you can't beat the location and price !

Everything was fine, except there were no parkering, breakfast cost 12 euroes, no air condition, and no smart apps on the tv even though it was a smart tv.

Based on the price and the location you can say it's a good hotel to stay. There were some issues for me: I specifically mentioned that I have heavy luggage but, I good a room in top floor and there was no elevator!
Other than that, it was fine.

Loved my stay! Clean! Affordable!! Easy access to all transportation! 20 min walk to beautiful shopping area and old Rostock History! The welcome clerk was so helpful!!

I liked the hotel. It’s very close to the train station. The staff is friendly, rooms are clean. I would recommend it and will definitely stay there again.

The location is close to the railway station, the room and hotel space is recently renovated and looks good, the breakfast is delicious.

A little weird hotel, I've had to say. The room was good, and looked very much like the pictures.
But it's a very small hotel, without a real entrance, and no parking in front. We had trouble even finding the hotel. It's located at the end of a random apartment complex, and the reception is perhaps the smallest I've ever seen. Breakfast was cancelled a couple of days before we got there, because of "technical reasons". It looked like something that haven't been up and running for a couple of years.
Parking was a joke. The description says payed parking available, but that's just some parking at the nearby Stadthalle. And it's only possible to pay with cash.
The parking lot was serviced by tre old men, who gladly took the money. The next morning they where gone, and we couldn't get out of the parking lot. Very weird, and very unprofessional.

We liked our stay, the staff is very welcoming and friendly, the room was neat and of high standard. Its located close to the train station
