As is so often the case, we received a very friendly welcome. The menu card tailored for us personally. This hotel is particularly recommended because of its location, the nice staff and the highly recommended dishes.

Not to mention the relaxing, quiet location in the forest and the lovingly furnished hotel and grounds: the team is genuinely friendly, courteous and attentive. Good hygiene with heart and mind. We had a suite in the castle. The ambience was something special. We liked it very much. If you don't like something like that, you should book a room in the guesthouse. The breakfast was varied. There was enough parking space.

Lovely castle hotel with very friendly and warm service. The rooms and bathrooms are large. In the bathroom they have nice amenities: cotton balls, cotton swabs, hair dryer etc. the castle grounds have a playground for children, archery, and volleyball. Cute hotel in a good location. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and clean. The parking garage is quite small and cramped, not really suitable for SUVs. Had a lovely stay there for 2 nights. Very friendly staff. I had a double room facing the inner courtyard with blinds. The bed was a bit soft for me personally. And the bathroom, especially the shower cubicle, was very small. But there are worse things. The breakfast is rich and fresh. Every guest gets fresh scrambled eggs (if they want). You can reach everything you need on foot.

We have been there for four days for personal reasons and the hotel is quite old and not ready for disabled people. The hotel service is terrible. They didn't make the rooms and we found the bed to be made and the towels on the floor, we said so and they told us to put a sign on the door. The next day we put the sign on the door and they didn't do our room either. We had to be angry. Disaster

We always eat at the Marienturm when we are in Rudolstadt. In my opinion, there is nothing comparable if you are looking for good food and excellent service. The mix of classic Thuringian dishes and varied alternative dishes is what makes it special. Small and manageable menu where everyone will find something.

The hotel is very suitable for excursions and also well equipped inside. Some rooms are currently being renovated, but are well separated so that you don't notice anything. Attached to the hotel is a really good Italian restaurant. The city center is easily accessible on foot.

Efforts are being made to renovate the hotel, but this has been going on for a long time. I've been coming back at regular intervals for about 1.5 years. Very good hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious. Although the furniture is fully functional, it could be invested in a new and modern one, because it reminds of the times from the previous state. Accommodation prices are roughly the same as in the city center, although the hotel is a few kilometers away from the center. Meals are big and of high quality.

It exceeded expectations for a budget hotel. Staff interaction was always friendly. The room was clean. It was odd that there was no refrigerator in the room. Our large bed was simply two single beds pushed together. There was no attempt to bridge the gap between the beds with some sort of connector. I stayed multiple times and the room type was different each time. The mini bar in the business room is free. But in other room types, you still need to ask the front desk if the mini bar is free. The breakfast is quite rich.

Receptionist was quite nice. The room was furnished with furniture from the 80s and 90s. Instead of a queen bed, there were two single beds in the room. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Hair and fingerprints and even urine stains on the toilet.

Very nice inn. Very good tasty food. The boss is very friendly and takes care of his guests. We stayed here. The rooms were ok. The breakfast was served (due to the corona), everything was plentiful and fresh from the butcher (the sausage). We could park and load the bikes in the garage.

We were with our granddaughter from October 26th to October 30th. a guest there. So, we were absolutely satisfied with the staff, the equipment, which of course was older, but comfortable. The food was freshly prepared and the prices were reasonable. The breakfast in particular was delicious and sufficient. You can always complain!

Have been there 3 times, always very pleasant. We were in this house for our meeting as "Leipziger Buddelkastenkinder", who have never lost sight of each other for over 70 years. It was very nice in this house and thank you for the good care.

The bed is a little narrower. I have the feeling that as a holidaymaker you are not in such good hands. Business people or fitters leave the house pretty quickly.
