Very nice and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, for a hotel with this many rooms the dining room is too small, making dinner and breakfast buffets very chaotic and not very relaxing. However, food is excellent. No a la carte service.

Only a short visit, but for sure a very pleasant one. Nice food and very friendly staff. The breakfast is outstanding! I will definately like to come back sometime.

Great hotel with friendly staff and modern rooms. The hotel bar is cozy and invites you to spend a nice evening. Some of the rooms on the ground floor have small terraces in front of the window. The buffet is, as you would expect from other hotels, hearty and plentiful. I was here with my family and would come back anytime.

Stayed at the Landhaus Hopen Hotel while hiking in the area. The hotel was a real home from home. The warm welcome was matched by a very relaxed and homely feel during our stay. An unexpectedly great café visit. Very nice team and cozy atmosphere with a great view. The coffee drinks are very tasty. But the highlight is the selection of cakes. The pieces are very large and very tasty. Dogs are also allowed. We'll be back!

As you can easily see from the pictures, we came here for coffee and cake. A ray of hope on such a cloudy day!! Nice surroundings- beautiful landscape for a weekend getaway. Unfortunately I do not understand the 4**** as the rooms are not up to standard- spots on the walls, bathroom like in the 70s, no airconditioning, bedding way to soft, although we had “please do not disturb”- the room was cleaned. This is a beautiful location with lots of character situated just two minutes walk from the heath. Lovely hotel with an extremely friendly staff, conveniently located middle in Lüneburger Heide (Lüneburg Heath). Tastefully furnished rustic interiors, friendly atmosphere and good wine made our two-night stay an unforgettable experience. Definitely coming back one day.

Nice and quiet location, beautiful buildings, friendly staff and good food. Rooms have nice interior design. Cleaning could have used some more attention to detail. Shower wastes water: it only has an on/off button, and with “on” it delivers a lot of water with almost painful pressure.

A gem. Situated close to Hamburg and right next to a natural reserve, Stimbekhof is a great place for conferences, workshops, breakout sessions or a short getaway. The buildings are an understated combination of carefully restored antiquities and modern amenities. The staff are kind and helpful. The food is tasty and the level of variety reasonable. All in all, a very pleasant experience.

Easy check in with an unmanned reception, but we were assigned the wrong room at first, and we were a bit confused when we didn't find our key, but after calling them the misunderstanding were fixed. No one at reception and lots of confusion for other guests as well. Tried phoning to book another night but no response. Booked via *******. Texts only in German even after saying my only language is English.

No staff at reception. Guests were checking themselves in. A text in German with my room number. Got that sorted. Decided to stay another night. None answered the phone so rebooked thru *******. Four texts in German so I asked for a translation but got no reply. Nice place but seems disorganized.

Nice and tidy room, silent surroundings

One of the rooms was cold, the heater was not enough.

Perfect for families with kids Room number 21 is actually an apartment with 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom. The backyard is full of activities for kids. The room 21 is perfect for families who attend to assembly in Heidemark-Halle. Kids will love to play after sitting the whole day.

I stayed due to a business activity with my colleagues and I would recommend to everyone to spend at least a weekend at this hotel with their friends or family.

I have been there only for 1 night but it was great and to take a rest or like me being for business close by it was an ideal location. The staff is really nice, the food is good and the view over the heath is very nice as well. Good bet and shower and all very clean

This hotel is located in the middle of the nature around Schneverdingen. It's a really quite area. The service was good and the food was tasty.
