Where to stay with pets in Schneverdingen

At this moment, someone suggested we contact Landhotel Schnuck, and thankfully, the lady at the reception who received our call not only spoke good English, but also was patient, polite, and offered us a room after taking some time to check her system

To our horror, as we reached towards the evening, hotel after hotel turned us away and we were stuck in the cold with a child wondering if we should head back to Hamburg

We also ate at the hotel and we found the overall experience excellent. I only hope that they receive more and more guests and build a more successful business

The next day we took a long walk around the Heide from the hotel, and we also were able to book cabs and other kind of tourist experiences from the hotel

For some stupid reason, we were under the impression that a tourist spot like the Heide would always have hotels where we could check in

We reached there pretty late in the night, and after we checked in, we felt rescued and relieved

Everything served with a smile. Breakfast buffet was excellent. No lunch required! Our room was in an annexe. Swimming pool and spa areas with sauna on ground floor (7:00 - 23:00). Bar was relaxed and welcoming

The local speciality of mountain sheep in a juniper cream sauce was delicious. My friends's vegetarian options were all very good. Excellent beer! Deserts were very good. Perfect meals after a day of hiking

We would happily come here again and can’t recommend this place enough. If anyone we know, friends or family, want to visit the Lüneburger Heide, this will be the first place we will recommend

Stayed at the Landhaus Hopen Hotel while hiking in the area. The hotel was a real home from home. The warm welcome was matched by a very relaxed and homely feel during our stay

A ray of hope on such a cloudy day!! Although it was quite busy, we found a nice spot and were served very friendly and received our order very quickly. The coffee (mug - large cup) was great

The hotel is set in the woodland just outside the town of Schneveringen about an hour's drive from Bremen. The restaurant served a wide range of dishes

At the end of our hike through the heath, we got to know this great hotel. We had great service, from the reception by a very nice, young employee to the trip to the train station the next day many beautiful moments here

Great restaurant with very good, attentive and friendly service. The food is excellent too. Very nice atmosphere. People like to go here and like to come back again. Absolutely to be recommended.

I would particularly like to emphasize the warmth of all employees, the ladies at breakfast, who despite the many guests happily do their job and ensure a nice start to the day

The small hotel is located in a quiet street in Schneverdingen and has its own parking spaces. The rooms are large and have everything you need for a short stay

The bed was also very good and you could sleep very well in it. In the morning there is a delicious breakfast with a very large selection of dishes; different egg dishes are available and are freshly prepared

We can only agree with the previous, very positive reviews of this hotel. Whether room size, beds, cleanliness, beverage service. up to the great breakfast with freshly prepared extras and excursion tips :-)

Very clean and cozy house. Rooms are large, modern and some with a balcony. Breakfast buffet can't be beat. Very nice owners who read your every wish from your eyes. It couldn't be better

In the basement there is a lounge area with billiards and table tennis, which we did not use

I have been there only for 1 night but it was great and to take a rest or like me being for business close by it was an ideal location

This hotel is located in the middle of the nature around Schneverdingen. It's a really quite area. The service was good and the food was tasty.

This is a beautiful location with lots of character situated just two minutes walk from the heath. The attention to detail is outstanding, from the outdoors with seating areas, hammocks and lanterns to the indoor decor

The menu is locally sourced and delicious. The staff are passionate about their work and go over and above to make their guests' stay memorable. I was travelling with my cat and we were both made very welcome

The buildings are an understated combination of carefully restored antiquities and modern amenities. The staff are kind and helpful. The food is tasty and the level of variety reasonable

The room 21 is perfect for families who attend to assembly in Heidemark-Halle. Kids will love to play after sitting the whole day

Easy check in with an unmanned reception, but we were assigned the wrong room at first, and we were a bit confused when we didn't find our key, but after calling them the misunderstanding were fixed

Lots of toys in the garden for the kids to play with, and some rabbits (at least I hope there were more than one rabbit in the cage, I saw only one) Room decor was interesting, it felt like spending the night at your grandmothers house, with floral curtains and a painted veiling

Perfect for a stopover, very tranquil place, free parking, fridge in room. There's nothing nearby as groceries or stores, so you'll need the car to get to anything. Fill up on gas before returning to the autobahn.

No one at reception and lots of confusion for other guests as well. Tried phoning to book another night but no response. Booked via *******. Texts only in German even after saying my only language is English.

Guests were checking themselves in. A text in German with my room number. Decided to stay another night. None answered the phone so rebooked thru *******

The holiday camp is ideal for families who want to take their dog with them on holiday. But also for anyone who loves a taste of camping. We only met nice and friendly staff

Dinner very tasty, various main courses (including pizza, pasta, roast with spaetzle and beans, gyros with tzaziki and tomato rice, fish with spinach and potatoes and something vegan), large salad buffet and various desserts

Had a great cabin, very close to toilets, if you sleep at the other end of the site it's a bit of a walk. Great service, very friendly and helpful. Hut, toilets and showers clean

There are enough toilets and single showers, unfortunately only a hair dryer

Nevertheless, we had three days of fun and it was a successful short holiday

The restaurant is perfectly clean and the chef is fantastic. His absolutely delicious lemon meringue is from an old family recipe, handed down for generations--- a must! I could eat it every day.

The room also had a nice cosy outdoor space with chair and table, with acces directly from the room. The breakfast was great and the selection was quite high

VERY clean in both bathroom and rest of the rooms. Nice quiet area around although not much to look at (no shops etc) but still some nice landscape views

I stayed for a week for the meeting. First of all, I would like to thank Frau Winkelmann, she was very attentive and friendly. She was the most caring employee at the reception, I thank her very much.

Stayed here to go to Heide Park nearby, and I highly recommend it. The rooms look newly renovated and are very nice. They are small, but are made to feel spacious. The large windows in the rooms are an added bonus

We had two bathrooms which is a great idea even for two people. We were pleased by both dinner and breakfast options. The air around the hotel is fresh and the area is calm, great place to relax

The included complimentary breakfast for us was a bonus, and the selection of breakfast food was endless. Check-in and check-out was fast and efficient, just the way it should be

I was going to visit the famous Heide Park and have booked a room in this hotel just to have a place to spend two nights after arriving and before departing respectively

Pool was completely empty when we visited, we had a great time swimming. Saunas are also available, they were clean and comfortable. Definitely would stay here again!

Beautiful surrounding and extra friendly staff. Dogs are welcome and you can directly walk from the property into the forests and nature parks with it's unique flora, fauna and wildlife

This is family owned, very friendly hotel. They don't have many rooms but the rooms they have are very nice.

So where do I start, finding the entrance to the pension is not that easy, information that you have to go to the underlying pizzeria would definitely be helpful 👍 Staff was friendly but could hardly speak German, so it's difficult

The room was clean, maybe the bed was a bit big for the room. The fact that you come in straight away and see the sinks is probably not to be done differently given the size, but definitely not a happy solution

They have closed the restaurant because of the pandemic but they still serve a superbe breakfast. The only downside here is that they dont seem to have an elevator. So maybe not the best place for wheelchairs

There are many outdoor activities around the hotel. The geographical location is very advantageous. There are many restaurants and supermarkets around. You just need a car, otherwise it will be inconvenient

Easy to get to and quite close to Heide Park and the outlets. Very friendly staff with good breakfast. The restaurant is very nice for dinner too! All very well priced. Rooms were clean with decent wifi and quite too.

This place is awesome! If you are staying nearby then please take the time to visit. I'm not a fan of theme parks, but this one is really worth the money. There's so much to do, lots to eat and more than enough rides

Great services, staff always kind. I would only recommend to add a fitness center or a gym, because there are no options for physical training. But the whole experience was really awesome

After reading the reviews I regretted booking it. But I must say we spent a great time there. My daughter (4yo) had a lot of fun. It's a pity the swimming pool could be visited only once

Very nice structure, plenty attractions already included on the package, good restaurants with ok prices, and amazing service (both customer support and on site)

A few of the rides are outrageously hardcore and some people may not have the stomach for them, but there's many rides for younger children too

When we visited, some of the attractions were closed due to covid restrictions, but there was still plenty to do

Even though it was not his job he set us up with the room and fixed us a cold meal with what he found in the closed kitchen. With a cold German beer it tasted wonderful
