Where to stay with pets in Schneverdingen

At this moment, someone suggested we contact Landhotel Schnuck, and thankfully, the lady at the reception who received our call not only spoke good English, but also was patient, polite, and offered us a room after taking some time to check her system

To our horror, as we reached towards the evening, hotel after hotel turned us away and we were stuck in the cold with a child wondering if we should head back to Hamburg

We also ate at the hotel and we found the overall experience excellent. I only hope that they receive more and more guests and build a more successful business

The next day we took a long walk around the Heide from the hotel, and we also were able to book cabs and other kind of tourist experiences from the hotel

For some stupid reason, we were under the impression that a tourist spot like the Heide would always have hotels where we could check in

We reached there pretty late in the night, and after we checked in, we felt rescued and relieved

An unexpectedly great café visit. Very nice team and cozy atmosphere with a great view. The coffee drinks are very tasty. But the highlight is the selection of cakes. The pieces are very large and very tasty

A ray of hope on such a cloudy day!! Although it was quite busy, we found a nice spot and were served very friendly and received our order very quickly. The coffee (mug - large cup) was great

Frisian cake and buckwheat cake. It's a shame that the prospect of Hamburg didn't work out. We'll probably have to come back there

Great place. Spa in the basement with pool and sauna. Nice breakfast. But unfortunately terrible beds. No air conditioning in the room

Expensive but lots of fun. Best avoided during holidays as it can be packed with long waiting times. I appreciate the high level of safety, always double checked before the thrill rides. Well done Heidepark staff!

There were so many people but you didn't have to wait really long so it was more than fine. I could go everywhere at least one time and I only had 6 hours. The food is kinda expensive but it's alright

very nice rooms (we had pirate suite) which the kids loved. We were not sure about dinner buffet, but it was very good with average price 98 euro for family of 4. One improvement point for the room

Just had the Buffet, but it was a great expiriance. Good Food, free Beer, Whine and beverages, nice Restaurant, like Pirates Tartuga... The Bar was a Ship, also great areas for kids.

We had a great time spending 3 days in the park. First day was school day so we could enjoy all without queues. Was awesome! Other days most attractions had 30-40 minutes queue

It looked like the floor haven't been washed and it was a bit sticky on arrival. But could easily solve it on our own. Thanks a lot for a very good weekend!

The hotel has a good location close to the Soltau centre and the Heide Park theme park. Family Room was tidy and good size for us

The steakhouse is lovely for dinner and breakfast here is amazing and plentiful! There is a great park nearby for kids, and it's so close to Heide Park theme park! Would 100% recommend this place!

This is family owned, very friendly hotel. They don't have many rooms but the rooms they have are very nice.

So where do I start, finding the entrance to the pension is not that easy, information that you have to go to the underlying pizzeria would definitely be helpful 👍 Staff was friendly but could hardly speak German, so it's difficult

The room was clean, maybe the bed was a bit big for the room. The fact that you come in straight away and see the sinks is probably not to be done differently given the size, but definitely not a happy solution

The bed was a disaster for us, it wasn't soft but you were crooked and crooked

Nice place to stay. Plenty of room for kids to run & play. Owners do check your discarded trash every day and what you discard. Kind of makes you feel violated.

I have stayed here a couple of times for business. The rooms are small but clean and adequate for a short stay. Some of the older rooms have creaky beds which are not ideal but the newer rooms are more comfortable

This place is awesome! If you are staying nearby then please take the time to visit. I'm not a fan of theme parks, but this one is really worth the money. There's so much to do, lots to eat and more than enough rides

What you need for a vacation with your family and not only!

Lovely setting in a fantastic part of Germany (SO MUCH to do in the area). The accomodation is fairly basic, particularly for cooking in, but worked fine for our family of 5, plus doggie

I think they should improve walking directions, have indications of shortcuts, or even make more shortcuts. Some distances are pretty long walks

Just visit Center Park Aqua Mundo for a nice day at the pool. Its like Holiday on a tropical Island with lots of fun, like wildwater. Center Parks pools are the only pools I know with that type of wildwater to swim in...

Had a single room, everything was presented. Only down side was no airconditioning, on a day being 30 degree celsius these would have been amazing. Staff is well rounded, speaking fluently English is a plus for Germany

Idyllic, country side location

We rented two of the large suites for our family which was great and ate a few meals here, the food was good and the beers which are brewed on site were delicious! Would recommend for sure!

Location is good, we only went there for 1 day. So we were not able to see much of the area. But what we saw was a green and peaceful environment. The room was clean and so was the bathroom

I was often in this hotel when I was working in the field, the location is quiet, the rooms were clean and there was nothing to complain about at breakfast either

Very nice place. Nice personel. The rooms are very spacious. Ideal for families. Children's playground is directly adjacent. Next time we visit Heidepark we will book the same hotel.

I have to smile a little when I read the different ratings here, from one to five stars, and I can only confirm that I often found the boss to be really nice and courteous, but I also got to know her differently from time to time

I attended a training course there. Nice room. Drinks and cakes were good. Own parking spaces for visitors. Easy to find right on the through road. No street noise to be heard inside the training room. Everything great.

Rooms in the main building are showing their age and need updating, as does the bathroom. Our room faced the street and was very noisy. The restaurant is no longer in operation

Nice Hotel and clean rooms. For the restaurant you have to walk 5 minutes. But breakfast is great. Staff is nice and friendly.

During our stay there was "just" a false fire alarm, but unfortunately nobody communicated this to us while we were standing outside in the late evening and waiting for information about what was going on
