Alm- & Wellnesshotel Alpenhof

Incredible experience. The BEST accommodation, service, drinks and food!! They went above and beyond to make our stay here magical and the rooms were gorgeous and the pools were perfect! We felt like Kings and Queens. The views are breathtaking the sense of relaxation is brought to you upon your arrival we loved this wellness resort thank you for making our anniversary special we will be coming back again!

Excellent hotel! Quite near the lake (you can walk there, but we took our car, it’s a 5 minutes ride) and with a beautiful view of the forest and mountains from our room, the swimming pool area and the dining terrace, it’s indeed gorgeous. The hotel’s decoration is also wonderful.
Our room was spacious (the bathroom a little tighter but we had all we needed) and the balcony was also very nice. The pillows we had the first nights were rather slim and soft, but when we asked for firmer pillows, they provided us with two more different ones so that we could choose the best. There’s no AC in the rooms (we weren’t surprised as this is quite normal in many German and Swiss hotels, for environmental reasons), but they provided a fan (it was already inside the wardrobe) that soothed our nights.
The restaurant was also top notch. The food was amazing, and abundant! There was breakfast, a light lunch (salads, etc), cakes in the afternoon and a gourmet dinner included every day. We loved everything we tried. The staff was also very welcoming and professional. Only 2 suggestions: the dining room was rather hot, so maybe the AC there could be stronger or have some fans as well, and the menus could all have en English translation (we were provided with one, but since there are no fix tables, the staff couldn’t really predict where we would be sitting, so most of the times we had to use Google Translate if our menu was only in German).
The swimming pool was also enjoyable as it was very hot during our stay in August and we wanted to relax between day trips.
Overall, excellent hotel and we would gladly come back!

Despite the special environment in the hotel, we always felt safe. Friendly, attentive and helpful staff and the owner is unique. The kitchen is excellent, the rooms are good and the wellness center is very good. We can recommend numerous suggested applications. We have seen the whole world but here in this beautiful hotel our expectations have been exceeded. We say thank you 🙏 and have already booked again. Doctor's family. But

This hotel is just amazing! We have NEVER felt so welcome as we did in Berchtesgaden at the Alm- und Wellnesshotel Alpenhof. It certainly also has to do with the family atmosphere, incredibly good service and first class food. Here the guest is still king. I hope we spend our dream vacation there already for the fourth time :)

We had a super relaxed stay in the hotel after a two day hike in the Steinernes Meer, wellness area and the food are also really nice!

Perfect service, very good and clean wellness area. The rooms are wonderful and have a nice view onto the Watzmann, however the carpet could be exchanged for wooden floor. The restaurant is amazing. Starting your hikes from here is easy as there are some trails around. A walk to the Königssee takes about 40 min, depending on speed and how often you stop for the nice views.
