I stayed here two nights in September 2019. The place is very scenic and the hotel is unique in many ways. Very cozy place! Location is perfect, it takes 20-25 min on foot to get to the main attractions ( Lake Königssee, Jennerbahn am Königssee). Breakfast was super delicious. The staff were very kind and hospitable! Thanks a lot! I highly recommend!

What a fantastic family-owned hotel

We had a nice but too short stay there. The views from the room and from the veranda are beautiful, the hotel itself is very comfortable. Owners are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our time there very much. I’m really looking forward to come back next time maybe in summer, because the garden seems also tempting, I think it should be great to spend time there.

This hotel is located at a very convenient location and just at a few minutes walking distance from the lovely Königssee and the mountains. The check in acceptance only starts after 15:00pm and I believe this to be extremely late . On the other hand the check out is to be done latest at 10:00 in the morning. So your room rate is not quite for a day but for 19 hours only. Staff is extremely friendly...

One of my favorite hotels in Schönau. All the stuff are friendly. The rooms are pretty cool and modern. There is a SPA and Gym area. Perfect place to start some outdoor activities. Breakfast it's an experience itself. Top top top

The rooms are a bit dated but bed was good. The service could be improved. When we arrived to the reception we had to wait for 10 min for somebody to come. There was a sign that said to ask at restaurant, but once we approached the staff there, they had no idea. We had a very comfortable stay here for two nights. The location was absolutely gorgeous and very close to hitlers “eagles nest” (only 15 mins away) and you’re surrounded by beautiful mountains. The service here is also outstanding, the breakfast was awesome. The massage chairs in the lobby are a nice touch!

Interesting experience, this hotel feels more like a big house but it is not a hostel. Booking and getting the key was quick and easy, however, the rooms dont have air conditioning, or fans, and our window was missing the anti-bug window screen so a few mosquitos made their way into the room when we left the window open as it was a bit too hot inside.
