Sehr nettes Hotel. Nach etwas unscheinbarem Eingangsbereich, hatten wir ein Riesenzimmer im 4. Stock das keine Wünsche offen ließ. Freunde bekamen eher spärliche Zimmer muss man ehrlich sagen, deshalb vlt. eher nur drei Sterne. Aber sehr freundliches Personal und gutes Frühstücksbüffet.

Very old fashioned hotel on an amazing location. The hotel is run by a very friendly family, which is already the third generation. Breakfast is simply fantastic with fresh food, reservers tables and lots of hot and cold dishes. The rooms were a bit outdated, the food later in the evening was average. All in all a very nice experience. Looking forward to returning.

A very familiar hotel. From the maids to the service staff and of course the hosts themselves, very friendly and courteous. The food is a pleasure every day. The full body massage was very relaxing. The wellness area is also very nicely decorated. However, for many guests, it was rather too small. It also gets very noisy in the restaurants when groups arrive.

We felt greatly and warmly welcomed by our hosts in this guest house. The atmosphere was nice and cosy and we felt privileged to eat in the antique-decorated restaurant that is now only open to the house guests. My wife and I can only recommend you to stay there if you like authenticity, cosiness and warmth.

Amazing stay in Schiltach! Wonderful hosts, lovely room and great food. Highly recommend you stay for dinner as was a real Black Forest highlight. The town is beautiful too and Rose provided great tips on what to do in and around the town.

We can absolutely recommend this cute hotel. The rooms (as is everything else) are very clean, lovely & traditionally decorated. The owners run the place and were super friendly. (and speak English) Schiltach itself is a dreamy little place. Will absolutely come back again.

Rose is the perfect hostess and Schiltach is picturesque with lots of historic buildings. The rooms were very nice and the amazing hospitality made us sorry we couldn't stay longer.

This Landgasthaus had been operating for very very long. The food and the beer were really good. Lovely place with warm and nice service. The Förenbuhl Loop is right opposite the entrance & parking lot!

Very nicely renovated restaurant, decorated with love. Really great, super nice service with a 2 meter large menu on wheels! 😂 The homemade spaetzle were a meal in themselves, delicious!! But the rest was delicious too. If we come by again, we'll check back in. 👍🤗

After a hard day of cycling the Krone was a welcome rest are. Very nice clean, spacious rooms, quite and peaceful area, only the cows in the fields around you, farming area. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful dinner in the dinning room. The following morning we had a very good German breakfast with plenty of choice to keep you going on the hills.

Stayed here for a mid-week trip to the black forest. Hotel is easy to find, clean and the staff are very friendly. Room was spacious, with the sound of a small stream and a nearby church completing the experience. Would stay here again.

Very nice location. Beautiful scenery. Very kind and helpful hosts Rooms are spacious. Beds and pillows a little uncomfortable. Only shampoo, hand wash and hairdryer available in bathrooms. Room clean available on demand only as well as new towels. No air conditioning but wasn’t needed during our stay in august. All in all a good experience. Thank you

Lovely hotel We stayed at the hotel for a night, really enjoyed the area around the hotel, saw some deers. The owner was very friendly. We had a lovely meat and cheese platters for dinner.

A very clean, comfortable and quiet place to stay in the countryside. The host was friendly and breakfast was good. From here you have direct access to wonderful hikes, and the lovely town of Wolfach is just 8 minutes away by car (worth a visit).

Arrived here in desperate search of accommodation after the place we booked lost our reservation. The staff were very helpful and set us up immediately in an excellent room. Good size, very clean and with an excellent view of the town. Later that night we dined in the restaurant and the food was incredible. My only regret is that we didn't have enough time to try the full menu! Thank you very much...

An amazing Hotel located a short distance (15 mins) away from Triberg. World class amenities and tasteful decor, right from the lobby through to the restaurant and rooms. The hotel also takes every effort towards sustainability. We requested for a crib in the room for our infant. Nice and big rooms. I sat at the restaurant/bar area for over an hour one evening and nobody came over to check if I wanted anything to drink. My colleague had to walk over to the bar to order. Not the service I'm used to.

You can tell whoever put this place together cares a great deal about their hotel. It is well-maintained, beautiful, and an absolute gem in the black forest. The Hotel was a perfect start location for our cycling trips. Good service and friendly and helpfull staff. Clean and nice Hotel rooms. The only thing we missed was a lock up room for our cycling bikes.

5 Star service nothing to much trouble cleanliness second to none, food excellent. Another bonus is the Konus card free trains buses and entrance to museums, chair lifts golf plus lots more all for nothing. Visiting Black Forest this is the place to go and stay.

Awesome little hotel, far away from the crowds. A true hideaway and if you want you are not reachable due to the missing GSM network. But no worries, the hotel team has a trick it still works. We will sure come back.

Staying in this hotel and enjoying the spa was a dream. The location is very idyllic, surrounded by beautiful nature in a very quiet environment. All the areas invite you to relax. The diner was perfect and the breakfast offered lots of choice.

Very nice stay at Gasthof Hecht, warm welcome, nice bedroom and very good breakfast. The only thing is that the English version of the website shows an incorrect price of €38 per person and it is actually €44-48. I hope this will be corrected quickly since a 20% price difference to what is advertised is not a pleasant surprise.

Brilliant location- almost felt like a holiday during my drive to the hotel, through tiny villages, brooks across the road-sides, dark woods and all along, powdered with snow. The black forest area intrigues an explorer's interest- it really reminded me of cartoons, seeing the forest section. Reaching the hotel, the views were brilliant from the premises. A new hotel with a nice wellness facility, which includes a Finnish sauna, Hamam Sauna, swimming pool (outdoor & indoor). The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is diverse and tasty. The hotel is pretty far from all the bigger cities, but this is probably the good side of it's location - should be nice area for hiking in summer & winter. Overall very good impression.

I stayed in the rosengarten hotel for a working seminar. The place was great and perfect for working and team building events. The food was delicious and the service really good. I can only recommend this place!

That's why I can't understand some of the bad reviews at all... If you look at others Treated the way you would like it to be treated yourself, there are no problems.... The three of us came completely wet and dirty from a mountain bike tour. We would still be offered a place independently. The hostess? showed us a room where we could change. During our meal, which was very tasty, our things were briefly washed and dried. SUPER SERVICE. Here, hospitality and service is not just a job but a calling. We'll come back when we're nearby.

It only gets 4 stars for the wonderful young people who served us. The Hotel is located in the central part of the town and has some beautiful features. It’s important to mention that the staff was so so lovely, very friendly and hardworking. As for management, we are not so sure. Beautiful place but needs a little bit more ‚love‘. It’s outdated and ready for some refurbishment. The spa area is lovely...

Excellent old hotel located in a beautiful Black Forest town of Triberg. We got a wonderful large room with a larger bathroom including a jacuzzi bath in the main building. Awesome. The hotel has a great Wellness and Spa area, well designed and all in perfect operational order. Sauna land area is only allowed to be unclothed. Great pool, jacuzzi, many dry and wet saunas, resting area on water beds...

An excellent place to stay at in this small town. Cozy rooms, food at breakfasts is great, good location. Special thanks to the staff, extremely helpful! We needed some hot water late at night twice, they were very nice to get it for us. The only downside is that they don't have an elevator. Otherwise, this is a perfect place. Highly recommend!

Very nice place with large rooms and private guest parking. Enjoy the bar and restaurant at hotel or several other locations within walking distance to widen your selection. Spa and pool help relax the body after a walk to Germany's largest water fall(free to hotel guests) or a few hours of climbing in the trees on a recreational rope obstacle course 15 meters in the air.
