Everything! The room was so nice and the view and surroundings was lovely. The owner was so kind and made us feel very welcome. And the breakfast was wonderful! We would stay there again another time.

We spent a very relaxing week in Pension Petra. The room was brand new and very comfortably furnished. From the balcony we had a very nice view of the valley. The hosts were very friendly and gave us good tips for hikes. The breakfast was always plentiful and there were fresh rolls.

Nice hosts. You are treated like family here. There's still a lot to fix in the house, but they're working on it. And when the boss cooks, it's really worth it.

Nice BnB in Altenau: nice room, nice bed and a delicious breakfast in a nice big living room. Great place as a base to discover the area, with ample parking and within walking distance of the pleasant village center. The owner is very welcoming and helpful and knows how to recommend the best restaurants in the area!!

Great and yet quiet location. We were there with motorbikes. The manager of the house immediately offered us a garage! Drinks were self-service with a "checkout of trust". Room was spacious, clean and functional. Breakfast was delicious. The price-performance ratio is right! Gladly again.

The room was well equipped and had access to the balcony. It was also great to get drinks from the fridge in the lounge for a fee. The division of the shower and the toilet is not successful. Shower is directly in the room and toilet in a small room. Anyone traveling with a dog must note that it costs extra, although this was not stated in the price to be paid. The Hotel is a very sweet, the owners are very polite and doing their absolute best so that you have the best possible stay you could have. They do have a garage for your bike if needed and they are happy to help you around. They do speak a couple of languages so you should not have any problem talking to them. I'll stay there again if I visit Clausthal Zellerfeld again.

My wife and I have visited this hotel twice in 7 years and we were very satisfied each time 😁. The service is good, the food is delicious and includes a good selection (half board). The rooms are nicely furnished, the beds are good - everything you need for a (short) vacation. Only the Harz itself has significantly fewer trees 🌲😕. Recommendation 👍👍

A very nice German hotel in the Harz. The view from the hotel is beautiful as it looks directly onto the two lakes in the town. Inside the hotel the interior is full of beautifully carved wood. The breakfast is great. Room in old fashioned German stile. 100 percent recommended.

Really nice people and surrounded by beautiful nature!! 70Style look. Do not expect the most fancy new hip design hotel but they distinguish themselves in how friendly they are, the gorgeous environment and all the comfort you need. And they have a lot of vegetarian options, plus they have large rooms. We had a lovely stay!!

The hotel is kind of old and the included food was not great. Breakfast buffet better than the dinner. Only internet in the lobby and nearly no data service on my phone - not the hotel's fault, but the combination leaves you nearly cut off from the outside world.
