I spent a night here after a 6-day hike through the Allgau, hoping for a good meal and a good night’s rest before my flight the next day. We spent a few nights at the Alpenhotel as a family with our young son. Our stay was just a dream. The kitchen is excellent, we haven't eaten so well in a long time. The staff is very friendly and tries to fulfill every wish. We would definitely book again.

Wonderful location. I was there for a wedding. It was the most romantic. It is a place to take as a base to explore the Allgäu. There is a place to buy Bergkäse on the corner that is award winning. Very recommendable.

Who wouldn't want waking up to such views? Great location, one can walk to the river and enjoy. Supermarkets like Aldi, Deichmann, and McDonald's are nearby downhill. At the river, one can find bakeries as well. Good rooms, well ventilated.

Great views, great wellness area and pool. Very good food. Rooms quite old and with tiny bathroom, my room had a great view though to make up for it. Long distances between parts of hotel. Seminar rooms not the best ones I have seen. But the general experience was good for a training of 4 days. I am not sure though if I would pay that price from private pocket and come here for vacation.

the hotel is very good, it has many rooms also suited for huge groups. I was there for a Company Meeting with around 100 people. everything was perfect, rooms, food at breakfast, lunch and dinner. I didnt have time to enjoy all the leisure stuff like swimmingpools, bowling, videogames, ping pong and more. I believe I will return here with my family.

I stayed here for a few nights as part of a conference. Overall it was a good experience. The hotel is laid out in different buildings connected to a common central area. Our third time here, brilliant each time nothing to fault. Staff are kind and professional, making you feel very welcome and cared for. Hotel offers a wonderful pool and an excellent wellness spa. We had a ground floor room facing the parking lot. The room was not cleaned during the stay (Fri-Sun). Reception very friendly, luggage storage on the day of departure possible. Breakfast selection plentiful. Sauna small but sufficient for summer.

Everything was very nice and well taken care of. The Hotel has a lot of small details for the guests that make the stay really enjoyable. Water lounge with resting area (with hammocks and beds) is very extraordinary and relaxing. All the details are taken care of. Very well maintained, super good organized ( they clean your room when you are at breakfast , so you are not disturb later in your leisure time) and clean hotel.

A very nicely renovated house. Top modern apartment. Super WLan supply. Fly screens on the windows, handicraft room, bicycle cellar, ski cellar, laundry room, washing machine and dryer, sauna, whirlpool, breakfast... what more could you want. The host families are very friendly, courteous and try to make everything possible. The hosts are also good sources of information as tourist information.

This is the second time we have stayed in the very nice Talwind apartment. The size is perfect for 2 people, because the balcony is really big. Ms. Schratt is always very hard and super friendly, you just feel good. We'd love to come back

We really liked it in the sun room. Decor and furniture looked very new, the beds were very comfortable. The bread service that is offered is great. We also felt comfortable in the small sauna in the basement of the house. All in all, it was a great starting point for us to explore the region.

After arriving in Bad Hindelang we struggled to find a good place to sleep because every guesthouse or hotel was either closed or booked. We ended up walking the very steep Rosengasse in Bad Hindelang and found hotel Sonneck and one last available room at € 173,- What seemed like a lot of money turned out to be worth every penny of it! Die Lage war ruhig und angenehm. Es waren fast keine Kinder im Haus. Das Frühstück war ab dem 3 Tag langweilig, da es nichts Neues bot. Jeden Tag den selben Joghurt und die selben Käsesorten. Kein zum sofortigen Verzehr zubereitetes Obst.

This "hotel" could be made into a real one. What is obviously missing is a cook and a dishwasher. The latter would be easy to obtain, but with the cook it becomes more difficult. We stayed in hotel Berwanger Hof for a week. For some time together for the two of us. And as a base for cycling tours around the Allgäu. The place is great. Very nice location: quit, with a wonderful view. Nice spa (to relax after cycling or treat yourself to wonderful, professional massages). Amazing food. And everybody here is super nice and attentive. Simply everything we hoped for.

We found this hostel on our way to Italy and called to book for a room late at night. It was not a problem that we arrived at 23:00. They Whatsapp'ed me a parking spot where they were waiting for us with their shuttle bus. Then the shuttle bus drove 20 minutes +- up a mountain to reach the hostel in the middle of nowhere (ask for the wifi). It felt sketchy at first, but it was an awesome experience...

Located on the Bavarian border with Austria,the location is amazing with plenty of skiing, hiking and sledging activities near by. It is advertised as a four star which I would say is correct for the breakfast buffe (fresh honeycomb was a really nice touch!) and spa area but not for the rooms. These are more of three star quality. The locations is in a tiny quiet village two km away from Oberstdorf which you can walk to if you want.

Food is generally good, but lacks a little bit of uniqueness compared to other restaurants in the neighbourhood. The restaurant looks and feels more modern compared to other local places which is a nice refreshing experience. Can recommend!

Nice apartment great location but were in the neighboring building. The only complaints: you cannot lock the bathroom, there are not wardrobes in all rooms and the TV was a bit intact.
