The breakfast and the location are excellent. The staff was friendly and courteous! All in all, I very much enjoyed my stay a lot and can recommend this hotel.

What a wonderful Hotel, the receptionists were all so kind and helpful ! We had an amazing time at the bar as well and the room was a dream. I can only recommend it and I will definitely come back here.

Very nice and clean hotel with very cool restaurant called -Rockeria-. They play/stream all the hits from ~60-70-80-90's.

Amazing location, great rooms. Everything is clean and tidy. The stand out part of this hotel however is the staff. Incredibly understanding, helpful and friendly. We’ll come back anytime we visit Stralsund!

Rooms clean and quiet, breakfast quite good. Big negative was the internet-speed (200 kbit/s). This was the speed according to the hotel's instructions, not a mere impression on my part. Couldn't access my emails. That's not acceptable for an urban hotel in a developed country, sorry!

Frindly staff, and a nice and clear hotel

Stayed here for a few weeks for a work related stay. It was great. Friendly staff, clean and fresh, nice breakfast and a great location. Bahnhof was close and a short walk to the Altstadt.

Excellent place. Friendly staff who will help you with everything. I had seen a post about English speaking and the lack of it but that is not the case. English speaking staff here for sure. Nice buffet breakfast and good sized comfortable rooms. Close to the Bahnhof and easy walking distance to the Altstadt. Car parking available at request.

Perfect location, station 2 mins, old town 10 mins. Comfortable clean room and a good breakfast.

Very nice breakfasts but the rooms lack climate control for hot weather.

The hotel is a bit dated but still very clean and tidy. Breakfast was adequate. Service was courteous. It's a shame that the Hanseatic Cathedral is no longer included, but the prices are reasonable.

This review is for the gym and sauna. Both are excellent and the friendliness of the staff is unsurpassed. Gym: large amount of well-kept machines. Super-friendly staff member Marcel made us feel at home. The sauna looks a bit outdated in style, but hq material and also great staff, who went to great lengths to find my lost phone, which in the end was in my hidden jacket pocket. Love this place!!

We didn't stay in the hotel, but we visited the adventure pool and saunas one Friday afternoon in October. The pools were amazing! The outdoor pool was nicely heated. 5 different slides, waterfalls, spa jets, a wave pool, and many different jacuzzis. We spent a good 2 hours in the pool before it closed, and then we made our way into the sauna area. The outside saunas and pool were unfortunately out...

Close to the water park Booked to be close to the water park (not included in the room rate). Cleaning was not perfect, found dirt in the corners. Rooms are getting worn out.

Very nice family environment. Nice large rooms comfortably designed with full bath. Very clean! Delicious breakfast buffet with very friendly service. The location in the center allows everything to be reached on foot.

Big advantage to have the hotel so close to the train station. The hotel offers basic staying but nothing more. In the room there's no mini bar/safe/refrigerator.. Not even the usual complimentary coffee-tea cattle which I find weird. We arrived about an 1-2 hours early on a Sunday and an elderly woman in the reception probably didn't like it, we didn't get a smile or any greet except a cranky "Ja...

Fans of public transport and faded grandeur will love this place. We had a huge room with a bay window right opposite the train station. Plenty of space (and a huge tub) in the bathroom too. Furniture and decor are rather dated, but everything is clean and quite well maintained. Breakfast is well worth its money. On the downside, reception hours are quite restrictive (closed for lunch and at night...

Wie schon im letzten Jahr hat es mir sehr gut gefallen. Ich genieße die Ruhe und die Abgeschiedenheit. Bei einem wärmenden Kaminfeuer zu kochen, zu lesen oder Schiffe zu beobachten ist Erholung pur. Wenn man Lust hast kommt man schnell nach Stralsund und kann sich dort die Museen ansehen (Mein persönliches Highlight war das Museumshaus).

Very pleasant place to relax. I'm here mostly for fishing. Sometimes you are very successful. So I'm staying a few more days.

Beautifully cozy and individually decorated rooms. Lots of exposed brick in very historic buildings around a central courtyard.

We had a great stay. The rooms were cozy and there was even a nice coffee machine with their own roasted coffee. Great sauna facilities and especially loved the breakfast. Definitely recommend it!

While struggling with speaking English , staff are genuinely friendly. In this beatifully restored place we had 2 adjacent rooms, very spatious with high ceilings and subtle decorated walls with our own balcony. Dogs welcome in tthe room with their own amenities provided.

Great hotel in a great city. Rooms are a bit somber but perfectly equipped and cleaned. Beds are excellent and so is the bathroom. You can compose your own breakfast that will be carried to your table in- or outside, and appears to have no limits. The hotel has a good restaurant for your evening meals if you so wish. There is a valet car parking service. Highly recommended.

Absolutely stunning hotel and rooms. Very clean, modern but all in a historic setting with beautiful brick walls and ceilings. Excellent ala carte breakfast included. The hotel consists of three buildings connected with a beautiful walkway underground. Checkin was smooth and they help with the luggage to the rooms. Complimentary drinks in the fridge was nice and the hotel manufacture its own Scheele...

Hotel right outside of the train station. They accept pets for a fee. Breakfast was ok and had a good variety, however it was always the same. The beds however are too hard.

I wasn't too happy with the rooms, the appearance is very outdated and could use an upgrade. It was however quiet for the most part, which is a plus. The breakfast was a bit too small and lacked some in range. I expected more choices. The corridors and entrance smelled like smoke at times. The staff is great! Very friendly and helpful.

Very good for the price. The rooms are more than expected, with a TV, great beds, and nice bathrooms. The service was good, the man at the reception was nice, but the english was subpar. The location is good depending on your situation. If you're gonna park at the nearby garage, it's painful.

Very convenient location. 5 minutes walk from Stralsund Hauptbahnhof. The staff was super friendly and can speak English too. Complimentary bus tickets were super nice and you can travel around Rügen.

Basically everything that you need is available, including a large shower and dishwasher. The apartment on the ground floor, directly across from the office, is unfortunately very badly soundproofed, not bad in itself, as it is a rather quiet location at the harbor, but rather unsuitable with a baby. But this is also due to the other residents of the holiday apartments, who are similar to the trample...

Nice premises. Very nice reception. Always friendly and always a nice word on the lips. We recommend. I only have one point that I have to say negatively about. The toilet brush 😔 should be replaced more often ...

We are regularly in HST. The location is excellent, right on the harbor island. You should definitely book the parking space with whom you are arriving in your own car. It is also practical that the owners run a brokerage office on the ground floor, which can be helpful if you need help. The apartment is really cute. Everything you need is there. It is in a great location and the handover was uncomplicated. So far we feel very comfortable. Of course there are things that could be improved, as in every holiday home. The pillows are very knobbly and ugly. The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner, but everyone has a different opinion. We would definitely book the apartment again.

I was on Rügen in 2017 and June 2020 and I can recommend the Schulte family's holiday apartments to everyone. It is very clean, everything is there and each apartment has an almost private terrace. From Altefaehr you can quickly cross the Rügen bridge in the direction of Rostock or Usedom and almost every place on Rügen can be reached in less than 60 minutes. If Rügen then family Schulte.

Clean, tidy, everything is there and for the domestic well-being is very well sorted. Nice landlord who stays in the background so you can enjoy your vacation in peace of mind. :) Attached are pictures of the bedroom and bathroom.

The apartment and the surrounding area is very beautiful. If you don't necessarily want to be in contact with the landlord, you're welcome. We lacked information beforehand. Then we waited forever for the key to the apartment. The phone number on the website was not helpful as no one answered. Thanks to nice guests who gave us their cell phone number. Which, mind you, was only in the holiday apartments...

Wonderful secluded hotel, seaside too!

Nice little hotel situated in what I am being told is a prime summer holiday area. Didn't get a chance to explore much, as I was there on a business trip, but would say that the hotel was very good value for money and it's situated in a nice quiet village/area. The room wasn't anything special, but it was large and had everything you'd need. Expected terrible breakfast based on booking review, but...

Forthcoming staff. They placed our family in one of the penthouse apartments with balcony, own kitchen with both stove and combined fridge/freezer and separate bedrooms. Standard was OK, even though we Scandinavians prefer "hard floor", for freshness. 😁 Good breakfast. Parking included.

Great for a short trip. If you want to eat in the restaurant in the evening, you have to make a reservation. That's not OK. There's no chance of going spontaneously. What a pity!!! Otherwise, everything was great.

Pretty basic hotel, some rooms don't have fridges and electric kettles, beds are comfy. The WiFi is terrible, reconnects every 10 second depending on the room you're in.

Large, clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly and helpfull staff. Very good price - especially when travelling with children (family rooms). Good communication with Stralsund city center (Meeresmuseum, Ozeaneum etc) - by car just a few minutes. All kinds of shops in the direct vicinity. Restaurant closes pretty early.

Staff very friendly on the phone as well as on site. Price-performance ok. Unfortunately no breakfast but a bakery 200 meters away is open at 7 a.m. Rooms are very clean and quiet. Fridge and kettle available. I'd love to come back.

The aparthotel is a bit hidden. The rooms are nicely furnished. The bathroom is okay and perfectly adequate. I find the location very good. It is almost right next to a "shopping street". Here you can find everything you need. The receptionist was very friendly. We got a baby/small children's bed in the room for our little mouse. In our room there were already 3 beds.

Good for few nights, really close to shopping mall and tricky to find entrance that is squished between two fences.
