Description
The Wyndham Stralsund HanseDom is worthy of its charming surrounds: tastefully-appointed rooms in a Maritime style, including suites of at least 67 m², leave no wish unfulfilled. Guests can gain access to the 20,000 m² HanseDom leisure park, where unique Jacuzzi areas, water slides, swimming pools, an Oriental sauna area and much more are on offer. Tennis and squash courts as well as a gym also count among the hotel's sports offerings. International dishes are being lovingly prepared in the "Vineta" restaurant and a range of delicious drinks and tasty snacks are on offer in the adjoining "HanseBar". Stralsund's main railway station is located within a few kilometres of the hotel. The Sea Museum, as well as the OZEANEUM are just a short while away and Stralsund Zoo and the local forest may easily be reached by foot.

As for the Hotel:
The rooms looks worn down, bathroom fan makes loud noises, the fridge was missing a shelf. Moldy grouts in the shower. The pillows for the beds are clumpy, a replacement should have happened a long time ago.
The hotel restaurant:
Decent breakfast.
Dinner was not impressive, only two items to chose from as starters and two for main course, and only one type of dessert.
We had burgers one night, and it was bland and boring, Mac Donald's would be a good competitor for this meal. The second day we decided to eat elsewhere.
There is a playground around the back, but this was for some reason closed.
The water park was decent. Things were clean.
The area for toddlers were by all meas easy to overlook.
The spa area was also decent, but it also showed clear signs of not being taken well care of.
The sauna area was nicely laid out, with different types of showers, foot baths and resting areas.
The changing areas and showers were roomy and clean.
As we were staying in Stralsund Altstadt, it was very easy to reach via bus. As we left in the evening, the staff were kind and organised us a taxi (approx 20 euros).

Booked to be close to the water park (not included in the room rate). Cleaning was not perfect, found dirt in the corners. Rooms are getting worn out.
