Worth repeating.
Nice hotel with a good restaurant. Due to renovations, the floors were occasionally dirty. Otherwise, a good experience there.

We were treated very poorly by the staff, who were very preoccupied with the event taking place at the hotel. Because of this, guests were not allowed in the restaurant, and worse, before breakfast was even over, they were already removing us from the restaurant. It's truly absurd that this would happen in a supposedly 4-star hotel. THE GUEST ALWAYS COMES FIRST... that's how it should have been...

Too many stairs to invalids, needs more elevaters.

The directions to third floor rooms was rather confusing at first. You could not take the elevator to the ground floor after normal operating hours. Breakfast was great.

I just stayed for one night and enjoyed the hotel and accompanying restaurant. It's not far from the center of town. I had a single room which was nice but on the smallish side so I probably should have booked a double. The bed though was so comfortable!

Food is great and service is good. They have a daily theme, so it's worth checking what is going on. I had the pulled chicken burger, and although it was good, it was nothing great. I have been there ok different nights, with different themes and the overall experience has been better. All you can eat buffet is great. Meats are their specialty, so try to always go with steak or burgers. Parking can be a bit tricky. The beergarten portion is good, and servers are fast. Overall, a good pick, but you can do better food wise I'm Straubing if you are going for a specific type of meal.
