The hotel is family-run and ideally suited for cycling or other day trips. Unfortunately a bit outside of the city about 1.5 km and no shopping possibilities on foot. The breakfast and the selection is ok, unfortunately only one type of bread. The waitress and the service was very attentive. The rooms are clean and nicely furnished. Suitable for a short vacation.

A very nice, quiet hotel in a suburb of Überlingen (7 minutes by car). Large sun garden. Breakfast plentiful. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. The family room on two floors with two balconies is highly recommended. Good starting point for many excursion destinations in the region. There is a shopping center nearby for errands, which is also within walking distance.

Our room was spacious and well appointed. The bathroom was quite modern and comfortable. The balcony had a lake view, which we really enjoyed as well as a sun umbrella and drying rack for our wet swimsuits. The breakfast was generous and we sat outside on the terrace enjoying more lakeside time. Parking was easy and convenient.

A nice and comfortable mid-size hotel. It's location is near Bodensee and Mainau Island. A bus station is only a minute away and any bus in Konstanz is free for tourists. The street in front of the hotel has some traffic but in the hotel it is quite silent. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We did not noticed any noice from other guests.

Absolutely perfect location, wonderful staff and delicious food. We stayed three nights with our two very young children and it was perfect! They do need to get a new mattress but other than that we will go back and visit again.

Food and location are great. Staff was terrific. A very good breakfast bar with a lot of choice including bacon and eggs. The rooms were clean and well maintained but the noisy tiny barfridge is not a great feature. The only disappointment was the smoke from the bar drifting into the restaurant area in the evening.

tasty restautant Its a very good option near pfahlbauten, lake constans beach. They have large seating options. Service is especially prompt by friendly staff. Food tastes really good. Ingredients are fresh. Quantities are moderate. Prices are moderate. They have children special menu.

We tried only the restaurant because the room were all already booked. But the dinner was a great experience and the service was perfect too! Who goes in that town should at least take the opportunity to eat at this restaurant.

But three things were standing out in today’s visit: 1.) although it was very busy and many guests queuing in front of the restaurant the service was friendly and efficient. The front desk is very nice. The hotel is not in the city center but they will give you a bus voucher which takes only about ten minutes and can be used for two days. The Gästehaus Holzer I can only recommend. I haven't felt very comfortable there, this has a familiar athmosphere in a big house, or a hotel chain. It is very clean and has everything you need. Great vacation in the Gästehaus Holzer! We have spent here with our family a great holiday. A large family room with lake view and balcony. Our children played in the afternoon at the newly refurbished garden and we were able to comfortably have a drink in the Lounge. A good traditional german hotel ,great breakfast with good food and drink,beer garden ,weather permitted,quiet location,comfortable rooms and friendly staff.Two points to note,english word is not good but you can get by and there is no evening or night life in Reichenau except small cosy restaurants.If you want peace and quiet this is the place.

We had a Double Superior room with a lake view. The view from the room was beautiful! The room itself was decently large (by German standards, in my opinion). We were able to fit our stroller comfortably inside the room and we rented a crib (a pack n'play that came with a little baby pillow and comforter) and still had enough room to get around without crashing into everything. We stayed two nights in de guesthouse, which is across the street of the hotel. The room was perfectly suited for a stay during a nice weather holiday. The breakfast is in a restaurant about 5 minutes walk. Highly recommend a morning swim in the lake before the breakfast.

My husband and I, and our two kids, stayed there for four nights this July and it was fantastic. We had a great room with a balcony overlooking the small port. The room was clean, large, and comfortable. The breakfast was down the street and the food was fresh and delicious. The staff was also helpful and friendly.
