Stayed for a long weekend and had 2 double rooms. Loved one of the rooms with superb views on Lake Constance. The other room was ok, no views, recently refurbished but not as nice as the other one. On upside, the hotel was very flexible to arrange an extra bed to accommodate our 7 year old kid. Breakfast was good and included in room rate, only bottleneck were the coffee machines. Our room was big enough and, above all, clean. The breakfast buffet is very extensive, varied and fresh. Everything you need is offered. We never experienced anything being empty for more than a few minutes. The staff constantly keeps an eye on the tables and the buffet and is very accommodating and friendly. We had the most amazing hotel stay ever here! Sadly we only stayed one night but it was the night of our first wedding anniversary. I booked a special panoramic lake view room however they surprised us with an upgrade to a lake view suite and oh my goodness the views were breathtaking! The suite was gorgeous and huge, with a huge tub, lots of space, huge windows and 2 balconies overlooking the lake...

This is a beautiful and well-kept hotel with friendly and attentive staff. The food, venison with spaetzle, was very tasty. The beautiful view of the lake and the Swiss mountains completed the experience.

Far exceeded my expectations. The location is great, right on the lake. The hotel is vast but not a cramped beehive, the rooms were large, well-equipped, and comfortable. Immaculately clean. Food was high quality and there was a huge amount of it. Secure parking. Very good service, friendly multi-lingual staff.

Really nice views and atmosphere but very stressed personnel. They blocked our card to the room 15 minutes before checkout and they start removing the breakfast 5-10 minutes before closing and are constantly on your table telling you they close in something like 10 minutes but they actually close in 20.

The hotel is very nice. Great breakfast and nice downtown area in a small town. The rooms do not have air conditioning, so keep that in mind depending on the part of the year.

Great location in the heart of the beautiful town of Überlingen. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. 24 hour car park available (15 euro max/24 hour period at time of booking) around 7 minutes walk from hotel. You are able to drop and pick up luggage at the hotel door which is in a pedestrian zone, no problem. Town is easily walkable everywhere. Good restaurants are all nearby.

Nice hotel in the middle of Überlingen. Super nice staff. The rooms are bigger than you think and very friendly furnished. Perfect for a couple of nights in Überlingen.

It s an amazingly well decorated historic hotel. Astonishingly worth staying and discovering.

The area is worth a trip, many beautiful and interesting towns nearby, but a car is necessary! We were greeted very friendly and that was not artificial friendliness, but came from the heart. Here the guest is still king!! The breakfast left nothing to be desired. At any time we would spend a nice weekend there again :-))

And here are the reasons why I didn't give 5 stars: - this isn't a good location for vegetarians and even worse for vegans (fur pillows at the entrance 😐, only one vegetarian option, no vegan) - not a good location for kids (No toy corner or a playground). But breastfeeding is not a problem 😊.

It’s different… Not sure quite what I expected, but I liked it. Really good varied menu .. some kinda quirky stuff … but all was freshly prepared and super tasty. Love the unique Aloha theme in this boutique hotel conveniently located outside of Konstanz and other area points of interest (Mainau Insel). Restaurant was delicious, rooms were large, clean and very comfortable, parking garage on site was a plus.

Friendly traditional German hotel in a superb location. Had a one bedroom apartment with a balcony. It was dated but clean with minimum cooking facilities but enough for our stay. Good breakfast. Helpful, friendly staff. Would stay here again.

Hotel Knaus is an older Hotel directly at the sports harbour. We had the suite under the roof which is a pretty spacious flat that easily accommodates 4 people and offers a terrace with a great view over Lake Constance.

Great hotel at a great location. Five minutes walking distance to the pier serving various ferries including one to Mainau. Pretty good breakfast selection (scrambled eggs, bread, cold cut meats, cereal, fruits, and more). The attached restaurant also serves pretty good dishes. Internet access intermittently available in the room, and when connected, speeds were not sufficient to support Skype calls...

we visited as a family. our kids had a blast with all the possible activities, pool, great food. also we had some time in the spa… simply perfect. it’s within walking distance to the lake… very friendly staff, comfortable rooms, good breakfast, we loved it. it was a wonderful stay.

One of the many good restaurants in the Lake Constance region. But three things were standing out in today’s visit: 1.) although it was very busy and many guests queuing in front of the restaurant the service was friendly and efficient. This was a good place to stay as home base for a few days of diving. They kindly let us dry our gear in the nearby shed and the food was good enough to keep us coming back every night.

The angus burger was amazing!! It is smoky, juicy, one of the most satisfying burger I have ever had. It is shame that we already had dinner so we were able to eat only a burger as a dessert 🤪 I could have ordered and eaten a lot more food. I highly recommend this resto!!

They helped with recommendations on transit and what to do as well as ordering a pizza over the phone for us with our limited German and the pizza place only speaking limited English. Aqua hotel has very friendly staff that make one feel at home and offers a kids friendly environment. They offer a very good breakfast buffet with a lot variety (including avocados every morning!). The front desk is very nice. The hotel is not in the city center but they will give you a bus voucher which takes only about ten minutes and can be used for two days. Although we didn't use it, hahaha. There are Aldi, Lidl and gas stations around. Parking is free, which is very good. The room is big and the breakfast is OK. Recommended for self-driving. I love Lake Constance so much!

Very convenient for ferry (right next door). Room was on back (west) side of building - very hot with no AC. Opening the window meant bringing in noise and lights from street. Had a hard time sleeping.

We had a wonderful time in the hotel and restaurant. We were travelling with our 4 months old son. All staff was extremely friendly and kept attention to detail. Travelling with a little child can be challenging and they ease our trip. We will come back 😊

A peaceful place on the banks of Lake Constance

Great Hotel directly on the lake of Constance. Breakfast as well as restaurant are excellent and located directly on the lakefront. Wellness area was clean and well equipped with fruit and beverages. Clear recommendation!

We have enjoyed a wonderful stay. The room was very nice and spacious and the location is right on the lake top. Breakfast and 4-course dinner, we were able to take outside on the terrace, were delicious. We will be back :-).

Everything about this hotel was perfect for us. Our room overlooked the lake so it was great to sit at the window looking out. Meersburg, a fantastically beautiful place with ancient castles, stairs, trees and squares. Hotel Strand Cafe is a great hotel, beautiful rooms with a view of Lake Constance, a delicious breakfast in the morning under the plane trees where the first sailing boats are already meeting you.

We were eight days in this hotel, very central, had a junior suite with a "castle view" actually more of the inner courtyard, the breakfast buffet was absolutely sufficient and nothing to be desired, this hotel has no real reception (also not important) unfortunately none Fridge in the room (minibar), and during the week there was no restaurant and no drinks on the terrace (a shame). Contrary to some negative reviews on Booking.com and Co., we can only say good things about this family-run hotel. We were treated in a friendly and courteous manner and the two hotel owners fulfilled our every wish. The breakfast was always fresh, delicious and lovingly prepared and the beautiful rooms were cleaned properly every day. The location and the view of Lake Constance are unbeatable anyway...

Wonderfully affordable hotel in the midst of Meersburg Harbor activity.

The easy proximity to the ferry, and the balcony to enjoy the view of the lake and promenade were such welcomed bonuses. Even when it rained we could sit and enjoy the view with the fresh air coming in, with plenty of space. We stayed in the family room, with lake view. Breakfast could not have been better. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Looking forward to coming back!

The guy at the reception was so nice and helpful, I wish all hotels had this kind. You get free train / bus around the lake (german side). There is a private beach (no sand) open 24/7, table tennis , giant chess, and kids stuff.

The view was amazing but I recommend this place for families and not couples or groups of friends since there isn't much to do in and around the property. It does make for a good break from the city life though

We spontaneously decided to take a short break at Lake Constance and are grateful to have found the Hotel Eden. Very spacious rooms with a sensational view of the lake. Everything very clean and well-kept. This idyll is family-run by the lovely couple Verna, who take care of all the needs of the guests themselves. They leave nothing to be desired. Spontaneously drove there by motorbike and stayed one night there. Were received very friendly, although we had not booked. Bathroom is completely renovated. Everything very clean. Breakfast was plentiful and the breakfast eggs including coffee are freshly prepared as you want them to be. Great service! The old town is a short walk from the hotel. Again gladly.
