Ein schönes, gepflegtes und sauberes Hotel. Zentral gelegen. Das Personal sehr hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück ist wirklich Klasse. Wir besuchen dieses Hotel auf jeden Fall wieder.

The website for the hotel gives the impression of a seaside location. It is a few hundred meters away and a short walk. But the hotel itself calms any initial disappointment. The rooms are modern and clean, the bar is comfortable and is adjacent to the hotel restaurant which serves an excellent and varied menu. The beds are soft and cool and the bathroom ensuite clean and functional. Would stay again...

The rooms are great and clean with soft beds. But the bathrooms are small that is why I gave it 4/5. The service was good but they would not tell me the brand of the sherry wine they offer you when you check in. It's the best wine I have ever tasted. So that is why I gave them 4/5 on service. Location is 5/5 as it is under 10 minute walk and they have parking at the Hotel.

The hotel and the restaurant have apparently been completely renovated. The entrance area is bright and friendly with a cozy lounge corner where we enjoyed our cappuccino from the restaurant. We ate very well in the restaurant and drank excellent wine. The room was chic and functional. The staff in all areas were very friendly and accommodating. We would love to come back.

Graet time to stay there. If you like remote places far from cities it is lovely place like resort type. All you need in one place. Food a bit expensive still nice and tasty, but all you need is there including SPA wellness, bicycles and so one. Was a great time out there. Thank you.

We travel to Varel relatively regularly. It is, for us a simple 45 minute journey. We very much like the ambience of the place, the parking is a doddle, the rooms are really very good and fabulously clean, as is the entire hotel, the wellness is wonderful although there were many, many people booked in on this particular occasion, to the point that, at times, it was hard to find a place to lie down...

We had a wonderful time at this hotel it is adjacent to a huge Lake or you can walk her bike around it. The breakfast was really amazing. You couldn't ask for anything more because they had it all.

Inexpensive, well-equipped hotel for the price and location, good service. The only weak point from my point of view: the soap dispenser at the sink was empty. Since you usually have soap with you, that's not a big problem.

It was an extremely pleasant and familiar stay with a typical North German flair. I felt very comfortable and would love to come back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ the location is rural and pleasantly quiet and yet you can reach the surrounding highlights quite quickly. Super nice hotel with very warm staff. Very informal and accommodating. Directly from the balcony you can see beach chairs, as well as the sea. Ebb and flow was also nice to watch. I absolutely love this place! It's very calm and quiet, making it perfect for a short stay. The hotel is clean and well-maintained. Although it's officially a four-star hotel, I would personally give it a five-star HOSTEL rating based on its overall ambiance. However, I did find the customer service somewhat lacking in care. There is no welcome fruit basket, and you only receive a free water bottle...

Amazing view to the see, and placed in a great location. One of the highlights is they have a chlorine free pool, it won’t irritate your eyes or skin, and it’s perfect for kids, beginners and non-swimmers. But about the parking solution, they still want you to pay 15€ a day for parking, there are more convenient solutions down the street for free and with the same result. The spa is also very nice...

Went there for a small lunch with Fischbrötchen and crepes. Slightly strange combination but they easily fullfil you typical lunch-on-a-beach-day needs. Service was good, food delicious, atmosphere nice. One shouldn't ask for much more.

Still our favourite lodging when in WHV, best hotel breakfast in town

We had Fish sandwiches and drinks and ate outside on the Südstrand promenade. Food was delicious and presented with fish shaped bread, which is very different. Prices were a little high but can be forgiven for the excellent location. The service was super quick, although unusually the food came before the drinks.

Loved it! Everything was just awesome. There’s a marine museum nearby where you could go on foot. As far as i know all rooms have see view with a small balcony. You don’t get to see the sunrise nor the sunset but it still is beautiful, quiet and calming. No noises, just the birds and the water. At least during my visit (the beach may be crowded during the summer though)

Nice cosy hotel. The superior rooms have a lot of space. Reception is friendly. The breakfast is OK, with enough selection. Parking can be a problem, but there are enough parking spaces in the nearby streets.

We arrived on Thursday afternoon, it was very easy to get our key as the code was sent to us by email two days before. At the reception we had the key to the very nicely decorated maritime room. Very nice staff. They do everything to make you feel comfortable. The reception is not staffed in the afternoon. But everything is explained well by email so that you can get to the hotel and into your room without any problems.

Nice cozy place! I sent an email a day before to check availability and they replied quick. Also wanted to store my bike, they left notes for all the procedures as I came outside of check-in times. Very friendly and responsive peoples. If I travel again to this region, I would definitely stay here. Plus the bread at breakfast was one the best I had :)

Really nice hotel. It was clean and tidy. Represents a ship becauuse the rooms are tiny, but still nice and wuth a rich breakfast and the personal is really friendly. Best thing is that everything is on the ground level and there are no steps.

The hotel was pretty pricey, considering there is literally nothing around and the rooms seemed very outdated. Also, there was some kind of drain (with unknown purpose), right in the middle of the bathroom, which caused some unpleasant smells. Other than that: the staff was very nice and helpful and the wellness area was okay.

Very good budget hotel for travellers. The rooms were clean and had the necessary amenities. The sea view room was great. However the attitude of reception staff was not good. They were grim faced and apoeared to be little hostile in the way they interacted with us. We didn't see a smiling face in the reception during the stay.

Super clean and comfortable rooms, large showers, quiet location, free parking in the location (looks perfectly safe).

We did a very pleasant Bosseln-tour down to the power station and Maadesiel. We were able to rent a cart as well as the equipment directly from the restaurant. Afterwards we had a delicious traditional Grünkohl (Kale) meal in the restaurant.

2 hotels in 1 Room was comfortable, quiet and clean but a bit dated. We arrived at the hotel Altes Stadthuis and were told that our room was in a different hotel, Hotel Busch across the town square. Not a big deal but I would have wanted to know in advance that we were staying in a different hotel. No elevator and we struggled a bit with our heavy suitcases up the stairs.
