Where to stay in Viechtach

We loved the location on the main square close to all the ice cream parlours, cafes, restaurants & shops. It was nice to have secure off road parking for my motorcycle (even given a covered garage). Nice and clean hotel right in the middle of Viechtach's historic town center with shopping and eating nearby. Single rooms are very small but double room are ok. Fridge and water kettles are missing. Great breakfast buffet but the restaurant menu is pretty limited.

The campsite is getting a bit old. But everything is tidy and you feel good. The staff is nice and helpful. 1 star deduction for the pool opening times 10:00 to 18:00 is a bit short. The water in the pool could also be a little warmer for our well-being. All in all, we can recommend the campsite.

Great campsite, very nice people in the reception and on the pitch! You feel good here, the Bavarian air is awesome. Deserved 5 out of 5 stars. Sanitary facilities are very well maintained and cleaned twice a day, you feel good here! We are now permanent campers!

The mobile home has everything you need. Surroundings beautiful. There are fixed routes if you don't take shortcuts. But you can also run well there. Staff very helpful and nice. We felt comfortable all around. We'll definitely be back.

Of course, this is not a 5 star campsite, but the staff make you feel like a welcome guest here. We had problems with the landlord that are actually none of the camping staff's business, and yet the staff tried to please us. Thank you again for that. The pool is perfectly adequate and a nice change, especially in bad weather.

Excellent campsite in a beautiful setting. Sanitary is not brand new but spotless. Reception is welcoming and easy. Good explanation about Covid rules in Bayern. A lot has already been done on the site and the facilities to get it up to date again. And with success! There is much to see and experience in the area. In short: recommended!

The apartment is mega! Very nice, very clean and the Venus family incredibly friendly! We were there with a child and the farm alone with the cows, chickens and cats was ideal for the little ones! A cot was also available. Daily bread service 😉 We felt very comfortable and would definitely come back! 😊

My only point to pick on is the price for the pork fillet and fresh garlic I found over priced at 14 euros something.the dish was unquestionably good I just needed a bit more!. We spent one night here and it was great. We checked in close to midnight since our Airbnb host did not show up and we had to stay in a hotel. Although they did not have round the clock reception but they were very flexible.

Great hotel and the staff is the best!

We stayed at Hotel Falter for one night on or way through Germany to Austria. We really enjoyed the excellent Hotel with the excellent room (freshly renovated and absolute top!), the wonderful food and the charming village. We regret that we left far to early and cant wait to get back.

A popular hotel in the centre of Drachselsried. One of very few places that accept credit cards. Plenty of parking and the restaurant is recommended.

It is a very nice hotel with a lovely staff, but.. 300 EUR/1 night/2 persons is ridiculously expensive: average (but clean) room, lunch and dinner is nice but not special (for the price), not so nice area at saunas. Great breakfast, great restrooms, lovely cats:)

Hello, everyone, We stayed in Mais in the Hotel Waldblick for a week and we didn't miss anything. The hosts were super nice and we really enjoyed the sauna, the swimming pool and the delicious food. Not to be forgotten is the quick and perfect room cleaning! All in all - can only be recommended and we would always prefer this hotel to the huge wellness facilities

Beautiful location, great food and a super attentive and friendly Stoiber family who want to make your stay as pleasant as possible. There were two of us with our dogs for 4 days. A varied breakfast and salad buffet for evenings, as well as a very attractive offer as part of the half-board. Great hiking trails can be reached directly from the hotel.

Thanks for the cosy stay at your hotel. We spent 3 nights at your place and made use of the overwhelming wellness offer. "Erlebnissauna" is not what a Sauna purist would expect but it was a fun experience. Food was delicious and personal was always kind! The room (112) could have been more modern. Anyway well deserved 5 stars!

Great with few areas for improvement. The new sauna and the events there are great. Also the artificial lake is a very nice place. Food is very nice and buffets are great. The WiFi coverage is weak across almost all areas and re-logon every time is annoying (in particular as cell coverage is weak as well).

You can only find the new sauna area if you ask around. It is poorly described as you have to go through the old sauna area. Advertised as a budget spa hotel, but is neither. The breakfast buffet was good, but the rest was average. „Spa“ consists of a small pool and a tiny sauna. Definitely overpriced at €180 / night. Clear lack and absence of management.

Good location, clean rooms but a bit dark

It's a cheap clean hotel with very friendly staff. The only downer is the dinner, there are empty containers and bowls if you are not the first. (Salad, dessert, vegetables, etc.) The food is always tasted very late.
