Breakfast is great and the sauna is lovely

Had a single room, everything was presented. Only down side was no airconditioning, on a day being 30 degree celsius these would have been amazing. Staff is well rounded, speaking fluently English is a plus for Germany

Our family loved the Forellenhof Walsrode. The cabin was spacious and well appointed. The restaurant had amazing food and drinks. Everyone at the hotel was incredibly helpful

Worth a small detour Family-run, apparently very popular place among locals. A few on-going events while we were there: a wedding and a 50th, but not disturbing at all

I organised a trip with 26 people to this hotel for a weekend at Serengeti Park and Heide Park. The location is perfect as it is in the middle and easy to reach both places

Beautiful surrounding and extra friendly staff. Dogs are welcome and you can directly walk from the property into the forests and nature parks with it's unique flora, fauna and wildlife

I stayed for a week for the meeting. First of all, I would like to thank Frau Winkelmann, she was very attentive and friendly. She was the most caring employee at the reception, I thank her very much.

Stayed here to go to Heide Park nearby, and I highly recommend it. The rooms look newly renovated and are very nice. They are small, but are made to feel spacious. The large windows in the rooms are an added bonus

We had two bathrooms which is a great idea even for two people. We were pleased by both dinner and breakfast options. The air around the hotel is fresh and the area is calm, great place to relax

Pool was completely empty when we visited, we had a great time swimming. Saunas are also available, they were clean and comfortable. Definitely would stay here again!

It is however one of the most warm and friendly places I’ve stayed for ages. Every single staff member was lovely and they all coped well with me speaking no German whatsoever

They were all kind and thoughtful and welcoming. The place is all spotlessly clean and the food in the restaurant was great. So I will happily stay here again

The Rooms couldnt be used until 16:00. Wasn't much of a problem because of the park. Room was more or less perfectly clean and nice looking (Rainshower). During breakfast there was everything one could want.

The holiday camp is ideal for families who want to take their dog with them on holiday. But also for anyone who loves a taste of camping. We only met nice and friendly staff

Dinner very tasty, various main courses (including pizza, pasta, roast with spaetzle and beans, gyros with tzaziki and tomato rice, fish with spinach and potatoes and something vegan), large salad buffet and various desserts

Unfortunately, we lose points because it is sometimes difficult to get the allergy list in the park. The online list does not match what the staff say

Expensive but lots of fun. Best avoided during holidays as it can be packed with long waiting times. I appreciate the high level of safety, always double checked before the thrill rides. Well done Heidepark staff!

Had a great cabin, very close to toilets, if you sleep at the other end of the site it's a bit of a walk. Great service, very friendly and helpful. Hut, toilets and showers clean

The staff at the reception is very welcoming, knowledgeable and always keen to help. For breakfast the hotel offers a variety of cooked to order dishes, a choice of cold meats, cheeses, fruits and a selection of bread

Hotel Hoeltje is well-run hotel in a quiet street the centre of town. The owner takes great pride in providing a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. We had a very spacious top floor room with a little balcony

At this moment, someone suggested we contact Landhotel Schnuck, and thankfully, the lady at the reception who received our call not only spoke good English, but also was patient, polite, and offered us a room after taking some time to check her system

To our horror, as we reached towards the evening, hotel after hotel turned us away and we were stuck in the cold with a child wondering if we should head back to Hamburg

Only a short visit, but for sure a very pleasant one. Nice food and very friendly staff. The breakfast is outstanding! I will definately like to come back sometime.

We also ate at the hotel and we found the overall experience excellent. I only hope that they receive more and more guests and build a more successful business

The next day we took a long walk around the Heide from the hotel, and we also were able to book cabs and other kind of tourist experiences from the hotel

For some stupid reason, we were under the impression that a tourist spot like the Heide would always have hotels where we could check in

Everything served with a smile. Breakfast buffet was excellent. No lunch required! Our room was in an annexe. Swimming pool and spa areas with sauna on ground floor (7:00 - 23:00). Bar was relaxed and welcoming

The local speciality of mountain sheep in a juniper cream sauce was delicious. My friends's vegetarian options were all very good. Excellent beer! Deserts were very good. Perfect meals after a day of hiking

We would happily come here again and can’t recommend this place enough. If anyone we know, friends or family, want to visit the Lüneburger Heide, this will be the first place we will recommend

Stayed at the Landhaus Hopen Hotel while hiking in the area. The hotel was a real home from home. The warm welcome was matched by a very relaxed and homely feel during our stay

Stayed two nights while returning from Hamburg / Baltic Sea to enjoy the Südheide / Lüneburger Heide - rooms were well equipped and staff friendly - breakfast was delicious and with big variety - swimming pool and saune facilty rather disappointing - sufficient parking around hotel however with a daily charge

Nice hotel in the middle of some relative German wilderness. Most of the rooms are fine but I've had one which was tiny and felt like a cell. Breakfast is OK but the bar/restraunt is excellent for an evening meal

It is also close enough to the town for easy walking access. The only problem was that the internet did not work. It was extremely slow and lost connectivity often. This should be easy to fix going forward

Query located just outside the city center. The hotel has an indoor pool, bike rentals and spa. The rooms has a nice size, and comfortable beds. Free WiFi, but only German TV channels

This place is awesome! If you are staying nearby then please take the time to visit. I'm not a fan of theme parks, but this one is really worth the money. There's so much to do, lots to eat and more than enough rides

Amazing experience, worth taking the time to come especially there. Lots of activities and nature. We will be definitely coming again. Especially recommend renting bikes and exploring the park and nature together

Great services, staff always kind. I would only recommend to add a fitness center or a gym, because there are no options for physical training. But the whole experience was really awesome

A few of the rides are outrageously hardcore and some people may not have the stomach for them, but there's many rides for younger children too

There are many outdoor activities around the hotel. The geographical location is very advantageous. There are many restaurants and supermarkets around. You just need a car, otherwise it will be inconvenient

They have closed the restaurant because of the pandemic but they still serve a superbe breakfast. The only downside here is that they dont seem to have an elevator. So maybe not the best place for wheelchairs

Und man kann sehr viel mit dem Rad erkunden. Es besteht die Möglichkeit mit eigenen Pferden anzureisen, das Hotel bietet eine Vielzahl an Pferdeboxen an, besitzt einen eigene Reithalle, Reitplatz und Weiden

Beautiful location right in the woods. Dont be afraid of spiders or other insects. Cottages are very quiet and rustic. Would be even better if there would be a small kitchen in the cottages, the space is there

Stayed at the Heidekönig in August 2018, 4 adults and 2 small children. Good service, nice rooms and good food in the restaurant. The hotel is close to the centre of town and the railway station

If you like to walk, then this will be perfectly manageable on foot. However otherwise, you might consider taking tour vehicle to one of the central parking lots which are not overpriced

Taxi service is good and you might want to drop off at the 'Stechbahn', which is the former knight tournaments place in front of the big church. Castle and historical city easily reached from there

They offer a good breakfast here! Location wise, you would be situated behind the Celle train station, which you will have to pass in order to get to the historical city centre with the castle and everything else

This is my first time to visit Europe. I booked this hotel and stayed for one night only, as I will continue to other city in Germany. This hotel was awesome! Best hotel in a small city, Celle

The room was spacious and they have heater for both room and bathroom as well. 30 to 10 AM on the weekdays, meanwhile it will be available till 11 AM on the weekend

Ths is a very nice hotel and a short walk into the city. It has beautiful scenery and a nice shopping area.
